Clip is just 8 minutes. Roxy Regional School of the Arts. Tony Award-winning musical. full title: Mark Twain Meets Roger Miller in BIG RIVER: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

Recently, the Passion Salopette playlist had many To Kill a Mockingbird plays (next to other plays mainly Tom Sawyer). I think I won't add them all, just my favourite ones, rating ~6 and up. Some plays just have Scout (I think also teen girls or ladies), others just men. Some plays have poor image quality, some fixed distance views only or very few scenes/few actors. As these plays also have girls and ladies, I will add some more soon. One I already had.

Unfortunatley just a brief clip. But one of my favourites from these.

I found this by coincidence searching for more of (prefame) band Hanson, as there's one of their songs in a YouTube clip (but I think not in the movie). 2015 novel by Jennifer Niven.

So again rating ~3-4 only. I don't like much romances (especially if the teens aren't teens anymore). I like raw denim bibs. Maybe I have to recheck that.

-Comment: One young unknown black boy in faded bibs. I only noticed one brief scene at 1h29. Men doing farm work but sursprisingly not in bibs. It's possible, that I missed scenes. Set in early 1950s Florida. 1 Oscar (for supporting actor George Kennedy). Directed by Stuart Rosenberg, novel by Donn Pearce. Also starring Ralph Waite.

After having checked many 80s and 90s movie, I'm now checking 60s movies as I had good experiences, recently "Hurry Sundown" (rating 7) and some Disney movies. To make sure, to not miss some more good classics.

Again, for this brief scene of a young boy, I can only give rating ~3. I don't like much this movie either (prison drama).

Neue Geschichten vom Pumuckl

-Comment: One young black girl called Charlie (Jamily Göppel) first in long red non-jeans bibs in ep 2 "Pumuckl wird verschickt" and in faded shortalls in ep 3 (pictured).

Another girl called Johanna (Emilia Lauterbach) ~8 yo in purple non-jeans bibs in ep "Pumuckl und die Geburtstagsüberraschung" and her male doll in raw denim bibs.  And I think a lady in blue coveralls in same episode.

Has been aired at Christmas. I've seen almost all episodes. Rather poor remake. Mr Eder is too young. Pumuckl's voice still very annoying (now by Maxi Schafroth). Some quite good longer scenes in early episodes, best ones are the shortalls, but the girl is very young. Also some few other and older kids but not in bibs.

There was also a feature film (same year, same title) maybe an abridged version?

The original series "Meister Eder und sein Pumuckl" had some very good shiny shorts scenes (that blog had rating 8). There was also another 1999 series with a teen boy in bibs rating 5, Pumuckls Abenteuer:

One also lying on his stomach painting the fence and also lying on his back (brush between toes) barefooted. And scenes in school. 

Very good. I think I've seen pic 1 before but haven't found the full clip then. Tree scenes are similar like the 2012 version. Titled "Scenes from Tom Sawyer". I was then confused about BTV, BatchelorTelevision and "Bay Trail" but this is BTV and BatchelorTelevision.

I already had the 2003+2012 version rating up to 8. Next to 3 from Bay Trail.

I have announced this after having found this 16mm channel. I first wasn't sure if it's a boy or girl in red but obviously it's a girl.

This time not from FWU but AOK, NDR, ORF and DIDO GmbH. There is also a later (probably unrelated novel).

Rating ~3-(4). I don't like red bibs and the girl is too young. 1st or 2nd grade? Too few good scenes (especially of the boy).

qui lo Sa? (2007) + Update Ki lo sa? (1986)

I have now found a full stream of Ki lo sa? (1986) via Google video, the French movie by Robert Guédiguian. The pic above is completely unrelated and a 2007 Catalan movie called qui lo Sa? by 3 directors including Marc Pujolar, trepafilms (now Escac). He has this on his YouTube playlist with the correct description. Obviously an Indie movie, maybe a short film. I haven't found the full movie. No entry on IMDb. The same clip is on a Ki lo sa? trailer with wrong description.

Ki lo sa? is quite interesting but ~80% is set in a big garden. As usual no real plot and the usual actors. There are ~5 scenes of young kids, mainly boys, including shirtless and shiny shorts. At 27, 41, 1h17. And bathing/splashing in white underwear (at 53). (Mainly rear view and not much of interest)

I like the black shiny shorts with 4 yellow stripes. The kids are very young ~6-7 yo. One boy is a bit older but not shirtless, wearing white tennis shorts. Rather typical movie from that director. No bibs, no coveralls. Luckily I didn't buy it. But better than the later/recent movies where the same actors are much older.

Michael Jackson: Black or White (music clip)

 

2 black boys (according IMDb Marliss Pugh and David 'Lil Dave' Shelton, other sources (cartasparamichael.blogspot and fanpop) say one (on right) is Marlon Jr. Jackson (his nephew), not credited on IMDb) in baggy, dark yellow bibs. A pic from making of/ and or his birthday showing in total 5 black boys dressed like this (vindicatemj.wordpress/pinterest). One of them might be Demetrius Pugh, brother of Marliss).

And on the left one white kid, I think it's a boy, must be Wade Robson in colorful bibs with a belt. (Took a lot of research finding/confirming his name). Dancing/sitting. One kid should be Brandon Scott Miller.

Rather brief scene, half of it headshots. Also starring Macaulay Culkin (red shirt) but not in bibs. Black girl in yellow shirt is Brandi Jackson (his niece). Michael jackson also wore bibs as a kid.

Update: Children of the Corn (2020) - 2023

 

Mainly released these days Dec 2023 (delayed due to Covid). IMDb still has the wide release in 2020. I now have briefly checked the full movie. I previously just have found the little girl in blue shortalls, and she's most often shown. I found some few other girls but few (good) scenes (headshot or distance).

One in long medium brown bibs, Pic 1 at 24, also standing from a distance. Also previously at ~11 (partially). Pic 3 at 27 showing a red haired girl in long faded bibs (headhot at 11). Another girl sitting in a peach or pink bibs-like dress (4th from left, headshot at 27 and sitting at 21). Pic 2 at 1h23. 

Unpictured an older girl in long blue bibs and yellow shirt at 11 (rear view distance). I might have missed some.

I only noticed rather few good scenes. Most girls are young. So although more girls than assumed, rating 4 is correct. Very low ratings on movie sites, but as said just released. I don't like this movie either. Some few good (non-bibs) horror scenes but too few boys and bibs.

Theater in Rochester, MN. Clip is 1h21 long. Best is the fence painting scene (at 20-30 minutes). The 2nd half is less of interest. I have to recheck it at slow speed.

Hanson - 1994, 1995 prefame (music clip)

 

There are I think 2 clips on the playlist. Hanson Lonely Boy Live 1994 (pic 4, also sitting like pic 1) and Hanson Boomerang Live on Channel 5 (pic 3). I later searched for more clips in maybe better quality. I found Prefame Hanson Incredible (uploader ArenNJ) pic 1 and RARE prefame Hanson singing 'Rain' 1995 + MMMBop in 1997 (pic 2, ArenNJ). Not much better quality. There are other clips in a bit better quality showing better Taylor's face like in Bang Bang Boom 1995 (uploader tomasigabriella) but not in bibs.

Handsome boy, but I later prefer Zac. Zac also wore bibs, I found some pics of both here (including a much better pic of Taylor sitting in faded bibs)

I liked this band then but they mainly had one big hit. One strap down, sitting. ~11-12 yo. Rating ~6. Probably higher when in better quality. Aren't there any documentaries or at least more photos in better quality?

Huck Finn (2012 play) Redmont High School

Another school play from the playlist (recently added), this time with just an older teen girl in bibs. Uploader Joyce Svitak. 28 min. Dancing barefooted, legs cuffed up, hands in pockets, some rear views. Also sitting on the floor at the end.

Not of my favourite ones (these coming soon), but this is a post with females.

Very young boys, few scenes, poor quality makes rating ~2 for bibs scenes. Settin g and plot might be better (nice bunk bed).

-Comment: Next to the main characters (wife of director and school friend who appeared in most movies) in coveralls (man in red and blue) see also Dernier été (1981), and a very young girl shirtless in black striped shortalls, I now found a short haired young lady in blue bibs and sleeveless shirt at 20 minutes (very brief scene standing, front and rear). The red shortalls of the other toddler girl turned out to be a dress.

Very good is also an older teen girl in regular Levi's (rear view at 6). Some few young boys starring but not in bibs. Widescreen. The French DVD has French audio and no subtitles. It's also available in dubbed versions (not containing Dernier été).

Most popular Guédiguian movie but rather a typical one. I first wasn't aware that almost all movies have the same main characters and almost same setting (Estaques near Marseille). But all movies are different. This was the last film I bought (same box as Dernier été). On the DVD of the other movie there's a 1h30 2012 interview/documentary (I first thought it's an audio commentary). Very interesting with extracts of many movies, I haven't found online. Very good descriptions and backgrounds of the movies and a book in English I found on this book blog (no screenshots)

For the bibs rating ~2-3 only. Movie itself ~4-5. But "Dernier été" and "L'argent fait le bonheur" (rating 7) are much better. I doubt that there are better ones (with bibs), but I'm still searching. Very interesting (plots) next to "Ki lo sa?" is also "Rouge Midi (1984)" and "A la vie, a la mort" latter 2 ones no bibs scenes known.

Update: Abenteuer Weihnachten – Familie kann nie groß genug sein (on TV)

 

As announced, this evening (FR) on TV and 4 rebroadcastings. Now it's also already on the ard mediathek. I only have checked it briefly. I think rather few scenes. Best scenes probably exactly at the middle (pic 1) also sitting on bed and floor and kneeing on bed, rear view. Also some good scenes at the end (pic 3 , also sitting). She maybe wore bibs quite often but under a closed jacket. Also standing at 13 but mainly or only headshots.

The teen girl obviously wore red snow coveralls (pic 2) some few scenes around 30 and 44.

A typical modern Christmas movie with catastrophes. Rating (3)-4 was correct. Girl is very young, maybe rather rating 3.

Huck Finn (2020 play) school project

 

One of several Tom Sawyer/Huck Finn plays from the playlist. There are around 10-15. ~4 are almost perfect. Some others with many boys and I think also girls and women. I'm posting my favourite ones first. Some I already had (B-TV’s Tom Sawyer, by Batchelor Television, rating up to 8, there will be one or two posts especially from the 2006/2007 play, I found pics or scenes before, raw denim, but haven't found then the full clip, the title of that is Scenes from Tom Sawyer.

This one is 47 minutes by uploader Madeleine Donahue. There are 3 boys barefooted in raw denim bibs, but most often shown are these 2. Best scenes are these cemetary scenes. Front+rear. Bibs especially of the left boy are baggy or oversized, so he had to often lift up the legs, especially at 40 minutes. Also sitting scenes while fishing.

Rating 8-9. I first considered rating 9 (maybe I have to recheck) but I give 8. I will have to make a list later.

There are also some new clips added to the playlist. Including a feature film called "Long Road Home (1991)" but I think mainly young men in bibs.

I have completely checked the playlist. This was the only feature film I didn't already have. Title there Renfroe's White Christmas. Obviously a low budget production. Inside scenes are very poor and dark lit. One of the distributors is Bridgestone ("Sugar Creek Gang").

Rating 8-9. I have to recheck it at regular/slow speed. Adding to my brothers list. Some more from the playlist to come, including plays, rating up to 8-9.

Novel (probably no notable bibs scenes) by Robert Burch ("The Incredible Ida Early", also movie teen girl rating 5, "Tyler, Wilkin and Skee" book, I own).

At least main character and older brother wore Liberty brand.

I have completely watched this movie. There are even more scenes. Very often shown is a blond boy called Bo (Roy Rogers, pic 1 at 33, maybe son of director), probably the same as I found at 42. A very good scene also on the truck standing and sitting. Also descending and walking rear view at 1h15 before the swimming scene. Also 3 young score board boys (like 1h58) and some few more in the audience at a game.

I have updated my TOP-10 boys pic on the right. 

I removed "The Family Holvak" and "The Music Man (1962)" and added "Road to Avonlea" and Milltown Pride. Series Family Holvak I havent found completetly but Long Way Home is rating 8. Handsome 15yo Lance Kerwin but mainly or only one actor. The Music Man is a great musical, but mainly one very brief scene of 2 boys, rather rating 7-8. Road to Avonlea has several handsome boys. My favourite is older Felix in s5e1.

-Comment: In total ~30 boys (and even more men) barefooted mainly in faded bibs. Several good scenes, playing Baseball, good rear views, also wet scenes und undressing.

I checked ~half of the clips from the playlist. Rather few (full) feature films. I already had them all, except this one. And this I rate 10. (Another rating 9 post coming next. I won't add clips with men or non-celebrities except some great public plays). Taken from "Christian Movies" which is a great channel. I found another movies with  ladies (coming soon).

I first mainly noticed the beginning (pics 1, 3+4) which is a long flashback scene 8 years earlier, up to minute 17. There's one young blond boy along men at 42. Although few sitting scenes and no (notable) raw denim bibs (man), I give rating 10. Nice swimming hole scenes, wet bibs and long johns. I first missed another great scene with younger boys starting at 1h32 (pic 2, some in dark). Boys descending a truck, most boys undressing to long johns and play in a lake. Rather brief scene and partly distance. They're told to keep on their long johns. Pic 4 is at 17 showing also one older boy in dark blue bibs (background). The main character on front previously also sitting on railroad tracks. Pic 1 also has a rear view of them.

How could I miss this great movie? Maybe because it's a sports film. Some parts reminds of The Sugar Creek Gang. I have some more movies playing baseball in bibs (blog search baseball). And red long johns.
