Info 360: Update (teen boys)

First Schloss Einstein ep 839 (and later episodes) 15 yo Stefan Wiegand as Tobias in dark blue tight non-jeans working bibs (I think for the first time). Zipper pocket on top bib and green rubber boots (doing chores, about 5 or 6 scenes). Also a mud scene at the end with a girl but she not in bibs.

I don't like this actor (although doing a great job). He's a bit shy and I prefer others. Good bibs. Rating 6.

He now wears very dark cotton bibs blue and green chequered. Almost looking black. Most of the time with a jacket. Last episode he wears beige corduroy bibs. Probably he likes wearing bibs (or the character should wear many different types of bibs). Rating 4.

Story 93: Boy or girl? Boys with female moves and behavior - hips

Girls and women in overalls are often seen manlike (tomboys, see my other posts) maybe except the fashion since the 1990s like tight bibs, shortalls, skirtalls or sleeveless shirts or shirtless.

Yesterday I have seen again Kidsongs. Many (preteen) boys appear to me more like females. I don't mean boys with long hair or their voices before breaking. Some faces are also hard to identify (often it turns out that they are boys). But I mean their behavior and also the body shapes, especially hips and bottom.

Pic 1 showing the episode Country Sing-Along. I noticed Matthew Bartilson in the red shirt dancing in Achy Breaky Heart (unfortunately the only boy in bibs in this episode and rear views are very briefly shown). He is also not jumping as much as the boy next to him. All the 3 other boys seem quite female, maybe except for the blond Kyle.

Pic 2 is from Boppin' With the Biggles, song Locomotion. They even sing about hips (but I thought about it earlier). Many bibs are baggy (boys+girls) but I don't like hickory stripes. I assume the black kid is a girl? The 2 others are boys, same as in pic1.

Maybe dancing is nothing a cool boy should do.

There are also movies with boys wearing female accessories (like in "The Sugar Creek Gang", Dragonfly wearing a female hat) and there are also gay boys and girls in other movies - I have some posts about them, but often these coming-of-age movies with kids in bibs don't show them too feminine.

Update: I've seen most of this show. She's not often shown and often behind a desk. Few scenes especially few rear views. She's also very thin and quite old (>40).

Funny but typical series mainly with (older and not handsome) grown-ups in bibs. There are similar series on RTL II like "Die Bauretter" and "Zuhause im Glück". I usually don't watch all of them.

Tiere bis unters Dach - season 5

As announced new episodes. I thought that there were no more bibs as most kids are much older now.

Some boys in coveralls in s5e2 including an ugly boy at a doctor with partly dressing/undressing scenes (sorry no pics).

A young girl (Pauline ?) in dark blue skirtalls in ep 56 and 58 (pic 2), also in a barn and an older teen girl in short light blue shortalls also cycling in ep 57 (pic 1, at the end of the episode).

Also grown-ups mainly men in coveralls. Men and women in aprons.

I missed s5e1 and I don't like this series anymore. They should change the cast and of course show boys in overalls.

I have checked Spellbreaker: Secret of the Leprechauns. Although depicted in bibs on the cover, the 12 yo boy (pic below) doesn't wear any in the movie. On Youtube. Scene at 56 minutes. So rating 1 instead of 4.

I also have rechecked Fish Hawk (rating 3-4), also completetly on YouTube. Not bad, but young boy and bib at low position, quite baggy. He almost looks like Huckleberry Fox. Pic 1 at 40 minutes, pic 2 at 6 minutes.

Info 349: Purchases and blog search

I want to buy new DVDs but I don't know what I should buy.

The only one I still consider buying is The Waltons season 9. It's not expensive, but I'm not sure if it's worth. I only assume some supporting actors and maybe rating 2 or 3. Can someone help? I was disappointed of season 8.

Many movies are also on YouTube or elsewhere although many uploads are fakes and leading to sites where you have to register. I don't like watching online or downloading huge files. Good movies I like to own on DVD or BD in better quality.

I'm still searching for movies or series rating 8, 9 or 10. So I have to search and watch online.

Categories boys and girls are also huge (they each include teens). But I did it that way on purpose. I could separate the very young kids, but at what age? Maybe younger than 10 yo? It's all a lot of work.

Book 44: Donnell: The very small person

I searched again on archive.org and found very few PD books, in fact just 3 of interest. They have a new website design. Although they include the Gutenberg project. But maybe I previously found books via Google or with different keywords.

However a quite interesting book/chapter.

The boy is just called "Little Blue Overalls", so the boy is reduced to his overalls. I first read it without pics and wasn't sure if this is a real boy or overalls with a miniature creature inside. And barefooted.

This is part 2 of a remake from the mid 1960s. Not sure about the time setting. Obviously not the 60s. Maybe 80s, 90s or 2000s. English title: "My Sisters Kids in the Snow" and My Sister's Kids 2.

There's a different movie, one generation later (2010) with a young girl in bibs (coming soon, rating 2-3).

Quite interesting for people who like snow bibs. But I have to recheck the complete movie. The other boy is very young.

You Can’t Do That on Television - Update 3

The missing scene of Doug (pictured) is in the uncut episode (> 24 minutes) of Fads and Fashions (1982) at 16 minutes. Most of the locker jokes were cut for sending more commercials. But I have checked all the other unedited (or original) episodes that are currently available. No more bibs scenes. And the kid in ep. "Television" is young Vanessa (pic 2).

I currently don't have the time to check all 35 episodes with Doug. I don't like the young Doug anyway.

Story 91: Hunting bibs

From time to time I'm searching for ranch blogs and pics and sometimes I find pics showing hunting (mainly turkey hunt or duck hunt). Often they wear green camoflage clothes and bibs or coveralls. Some wear beige or light brown bibs. I always thought that they are ordinary bibs and it's just the color. But they are specially designed for hunting with some accessories and fabric.

Some are waterproof or completely out of nylon. Some have dark waterproof chaps and black elastic straps. Also loops for shells (below the bib pocket).

I haven't found a free pic, so I just colorized one of mine.

I haven't seen those bibs in movies (maybe there are some documentaries) although there are some movies involving hunting. Another special purpose bibs are fishing bibs. But I don't like those rubber pants with a short bib.

Thanks for the recent comments. YCDTOTV needs some more research. Many episodes (35) of Doug (1982-1986). Also nice shiny shorts.

Update: Few good scenes starting at 28 minutes (pictured), 33 minutes and later. Also farm work (set in NZ) outside hay work. Bibs with a long stretchable white suspender on the back and a belt. But she's very thin.

Probably I also have seen this series in the late 90s, but can't remember it. Also on YouTube.

Good plot and interesting series, but the girl is too young.
