This is a sequel to Pierino contro tutti (rating 7). I didn't knew that because of the different Italian title (it's not on the same DVD box). I was just searching for the boy in the grey bibs and red shirt I have found on the web but not in the 1st movie.

Very similar movie, same locations, partly same actors, but this time another boy actor as Pierino's best friend Lucio. Probably this is the same pair of bibs as in film #1. He is maybe a bit older. The earlier boy was maybe just 10 or 9 yo due to his voice and height.

I only have seen this at high speed on Dailymotion. But the 1st movie is a bit better. There were 2 more very brief scenes of the girl in the orange bibs.

Currently rating 6 for this movie. I think I won't buy it. There are several more movies starring Vitali at school, but mostly with older teens as students. Also a good dorm scene (soon on my bedroom blog, rating 5).

I think I have to check for more similar movies and check if there are versions in better quality. Update: bibs are corduroy and maybe the same as in movie 1

As announced this has been aired yesterday. Same kids as in the 2 earlier movies, so older now (grade 6). I wonder how long they can take them. Main plot is about a stage play (costumes historical Dutch clothes, mice with pink bellies and fruits).

Good Dutch movie, but for these very brief shortalls scenes rating 3 only. Another Dutch movie today was "Tony 10" young black girl in shortalls (at least at the end of the movie) and men in bibs (I think very few good scenes either, coming soon). Looks like a very good, but violent 80s horror movie, rated R. Some very handsome, but mainly older teen boys or young men. (Why are teens in movies 20 or 25 yo ?) I can't remember having seen this movie. At least one brother is much younger (Chad) but most likely not in bibs.

Nothing wrong with being chubby, but Gordo is too old and ugly.

I have to check more of this movie and hope for a soon broadcasting. Maybe there are other supporting actors as well.

Update: Barney & Friends

I found these 2 clips. First is from "Barney and the Backyard Gang" (prequel series to Barney & Friends) episode Barney Goes to School (1990) A young girl in blue bibs and another girl in a jeans dress or skirtalls.

I found them during some research for Kidsongs. On the Kidsongs Wikia there were some interesting things, like a theatralic Kidsongs Movie (2 separate entries) and some videos like Kidsongs: We Love School!. Both turned out as faked entries.

Most songs from the fakes exist and it sounds plausible with many details, but obviously they are mixed up with Barney and Disney stuff. ("Barney's Great Adventure" and "The Muppet Christmas Carol") Some songs appear on both Kidsongs and Barney vids. Others are exclusive Barney songs and were released later than stated and after the existence of Kidsongs. Some Wiki entries including that of Kyle Stanley have been deleted.

Probably there are much more interesting scenes in the Barney clips (I have 3 other posts), but currently I don't have much time for research.

1953 novel "Bunst and the Flying Eye" by John Newton Chance, I think set in the 1950s (although the colonel owns this old car). There's a Bunst book series (the cover also depicting the boy in blue bibs).

Quite interesting and handsome boy. So rating 4-5. Another CFF movie (boy, color) coming soon.

Story 109: Mary Ellen sitting Waltons season 2

After season 1 of The Waltons I'm now continuing watching season 2 (rating 9). Some more good unusual positions, first Mary Ellen (boys coming soon).

Pic 1 is from s2e3 (DVD position 2h03) sitting or better lying lazy on the stairs (lifting a leg while Granny is sweeping). Pic 2 a sitting scene at 2h26, I think also rear view.

Pic 2 from s2e4 at 2h51. Mary Ellen is sitting next to Jason like usual. But it's hard to find good scenes showing both. Jason often has a napkin and Mary Ellen's hair often cover the bib and straps. Same for rear views. Here she is turning herself while standing up (good rear view).

Thanks for this suggestion. Unfortunately it seems to be rare and unavailable. I haven't found any clips or pics showing the bibs completetly.

The movie seems to be a typical French school drama like the series L'Instit. Directed by Michel Favart (1 episode of "L'Instit", Souris noire"). I think the boy is living in the woods and his dad doesn't allow him going to school.

I can't say much more and have to wait for an upload, broadcast or DVD release.

Rating 5 for now but completetly unsure.

Thanks very much Mike for this detailed list (at the comments of the barefoot list).

Not sure if it's useful for somebody. Time positions (and pics) are missing. And infos what scenes are the best.

In early episodes and seasons most are barefoot most of the time. So you just have to watch the DVDs.

List is up to season 5 (almost no scenes in there). I wonder if there are scenes in later seasons. In early seasons I mainly prefer Jason and Mary Ellen.

Update: The River (1984)

After having seen Sissi Spacek in season 1 of The Waltons I had to recheck the bibs scenes of this underrated movie (previously rated 5 and only one tiny pic). My first purchase sind starting blogging. The complete family is wearing bibs. Unfortunately not all at the same time. Also some more actors. Very good farm drama and Sissy Spacek is one of my favourite farm women (only one very brief scene with her here, headshot and from a distance in between a corn field, so no need for pics for her) The best is of course 15 yo Shane Bailey (pic 2 on right).

He's wearing at least 2 different pairs of bibs her. Unfortunately rather few good scenes (mainly short rear views or with a jacket, cycling also with a jacket and from a distance, one close up of his lap.) Much better are his scenes wearing regular tight jeans (rating 9 for that !)

2 more boys in bibs but brief scenes. His 5 yo sister also riding and good sitting scene in light blue bibs (see main entry). One other young girl in bibs at the auction. And Mel Gibson and several men in bibs and coveralls.

Pic 1: A very handsome blond boy at the auction (very brief scene), pic 2 brief scene near the end (mainly rear view, now in main entry), pic 2 near the beginning in very muddy bibs (front only from a distance), pic 4 a friend of him (now in main entry).

I haven't seen the movie, not even clips. It's available on the Gaumont movie on demand DVD series (red cover, I mentioned that before on similar French classics).

Usually I don't like neither shortalls nor hickory stripes nor the 70s but of course depends on the actor. The boy in sports shorts is more handsome. Are there other actors in bibs or other scenes of interest?

I have to see some more (moving) images. But I think I won't buy it.

For now rating 5-(6) only. Maybe the older girl is better here.

–Comment: Shannon Chandler in the 1st series (1996-1997) and Brittany Konarzewski in both this (starting in 1997 ep 39) and the sequel series Beetleborgs Metallix both as Jo in many different shortalls including dark blue, light blue (ep 30, 31, 32), dark red (ep 46), turquoise (ep 7) and beige (ep 5). One shortalls have thick pink and light blue and thinner white stripes. Cycling in at least dark blue and turqouise ones. Also one older girl in full length dark blue bibs (pic 4, or is this Jo as well?). Younger and older boys and girls in the music clip (rating 5).

I saw too late, that there are 2 different girls as Jo. Maybe I have to separate them and make one more entry. I haven't checked all episodes. On YouTube the image quality is very bad.

Interesting series also with handsome boys (probably none in bibs), but at least one Jo is very young.

Some good scenes. So rating 5-6. I like light blue shortalls combined with yellow and orange shirts.

–Comment: First a very young boy in blue bibs and a girl in light blue shortalls on a swing carousel at least at the end of  s20e9 "Windspiel". (IMDb says s38e9).

I don't like these action series and saw some few scenes by coincidence.

Interesting plot with someone who has hacked this carousel making it much faster. I assume very few bibs scenes and the kids are very young.

So rating 2-3 only. Can be watched on the Mediathek.

I have just found a very interesting movie with a shirtless boy, rating maybe 8-9 (coming next).

–Comment: Some boys and girls including teens in different bibs and shortalls. Thanks db1 for this suggestion. You talked about clips. Are there more? I only found this almost 3 minutes clip called either "official music clip", extended theme song or commercial. Unfortunately it has very fast movement and all ~4 uploads have bad or very bad image quality. So I almost can't identify anything and that's the best I could get.

One interesting scene is where some kids are lying on the ground. The older and taller boy in the red shirt I think wears black bibs (pic 4) although they look raw denim blue here. One girl with one strap loose. One handsome younger boy in yellow shirt and light green bibs (are these bibs ?). Unpictured a quite good scene of a young girl in beige shortalls.

Some other scenes are taken from the series itself (entry coming soon). There's mainly a young girl in many different shortalls (also cycling) but I also found an older teen girl in full length bibs.

Hard to rate this short clip.

Maybe rating 5-6. Series probably rating 6.

Kidsongs: I Can Dance

How could I miss this clip? During research for some more names (see previously post), I found a song called Barefootin' (beach) and then this. This song is called "Mashed Potato Time" (a 1960 James Brown song) but reminds me of the 1920s (Charleston ?). Official clip called part 3. Farm setting.

Teen boy is Michael Minden. Girl on front maybe Megan Miyahira. Girl in green shirt Tiffany Burton. Older black boy maybe Aaron Harvey, young black boy, orange shirt sitting is Asa Karsten Bernstine.

Very good dance movements. Good sitting scenes of the girl in shortalls. The older boy in the red shirt wearing dental braces (I have a pic of him elsewhere). The boy in the yellow shirt doesn't wear bibs.

Some other good songs on this DVD but concerning bibs this is probably the best.

Quite good bibs and dancing, but I prefer other clips. Rating 5-6.
