Thanks for that suggestion. I checked some more episodes and also found that females.

The boy is quite young and thin and and in fact I couldn't find some very good scenes. Maybe I haven't checked it carefully enough.

I can't say much more yet. There are also interesting bedroom scenes with his 2 older brothers (high sleeper or bunk bed, soon on my other blog).

Hard to give a rating. Boy maybe rating 3-(4), I don't like pink bibs at least not in that intense color and definitely not that old woman. Pic 1 is much better, but I only found this headshot. I think she's too young here and unless I've seen other pics in later seasons, I give rating (3-)4 only. The older teen girl I later found is maybe more of interest. So rating 4-5. I think I have to make an update.

There's also a 2003 movie, but I haven't checked it out yet. The series is on YouTube but very often with annoying subtitles.

Info 297: webfind 1981 ranch teen girls

Some older teen girls in different colored bibs. Not sure if one is a teen boy. I like the early 80s. Unfortunately the pic is rather small. It's quite hard to find good and good quality color pics of that time. The ranch is in Washington.

Many supporting actors lators and at least one more scene with a little boy (maybe the same 5 yo boy, but not wearing overalls then). 2 young  women in sailor dresses with good long collar flaps (soon on my other blog). Also good cowboy scenes and men wearing chaps (good jeans rear view) for those who like men.

This was a video recommendation on a completetly unrelated 80s movie (Six Pack (1982), I already had, rating 5. Most 80s movie I know, but the first new I found was "The Wild Life (1984)" starring Ilan Mitchell-Smith and also 2 young boys sitting in a café. But probably no bibs scenes there.

This musical won 2 Oscars, starring Gordon MacRae, Shirley Jones and Gloria Grahame. Directed by Fred Zinneman. Rodger & Hammerstein Productions. I have checked most of it and haven't noticed anything more of interest.

The older boy first sitting /hunker down on the left wall (and bobbing with the music but seems bored) and is later also involved in the dancing and being lifted. The younger boy standing in the background first with the older boy and later alone in the middle behind the stage.

Both pics above are enlarged image details as they are too small to be recognized clearly on a tiny pic of this 70 mm movie. Below is a complete frame of that scene.

Quite interesting movie, also containing ranch, western, riding, corn field and indoor stage scenes. I will check it more carefully the next broadcasting.

Due to the few and mainly background scenes of these young boys, rating 3-4 for now only. They might look better here but very few good frames (front + rear view).

Home Improvement – Season 4

Randy I haven't noticed in bibs (except for the intro). I think men in coveralls like in season 3. Randy and Brad in interesting black icehockey protection undergarment with suspenders. Also Brad in very good dark blue shiny soccer shorts in ep. 3.

Jill wearing bibs with a label flag on the rear like the "pig tail" of Lucy in 7th Heaven. See that story entry. Probably a special brand. Mabye Felix can help here. She appeared in darker blue bibs in s7.

The plots of season 4 are also a bit weaker than in previous seasons.

Does anybody know the name of the 2nd boy from left in pic 3 next to Marc? They sang The Little Drummer Boy and he also appeared earlier in a Karate suit. Funny haircut.

Season 5 coming later. At least some good fishing bibs of the brothers and also good shorts while water skiing.

Rating 4 for this few good bibs scenes. Jill is quite old and the shortalls scenes are very short. Main entry at

Info 296: Webfinds catalogues 2 - 1970s-1990s m/f

I checked also the other catalogues from the previously mentioned flickr site. (Back to 1975 only). Fewer overalls than assumed. I haven't rechecked the early 80s (containing males + females in snow bibs and some little kids in bibs on the toy pages).

Almost 400 hits in the few days to the 1st pic with the young cowboy.

Another suggestion.

Quite interesting movie, plot and Montana ranch / cowboy  setting. Unfortunately very few bibs scenes, young actor and bad scenes (from a distance and from above only). Interesting that the boy wearing a thin brown belt (I recently talked about that I have only noticed this on girls).

Also rather few good and unusual ranch scenes as his twin brother is often shown travelling. César Award. Novel by Reif Larsen.

For the few scenes I can't give any higher rating than 3. The movie I don't like much either. Rating ~4.

Story 77: Sound files, audiobooks, music

Some thoughts I recently came across. Not just for blind people. Sometimes I like listening to voices and music.

Maybe the easiest thing is music. Just some country songs, maybe from someone wearing overalls or even singing about them. I don't know of anything special concerning overalls.

 

Then audiobooks. Some (famous) novels might be available as audiobooks (see my book entries). Of course it depends on contents and especially the narrator. It's probably very difficult to find some good audiobooks. I own some very few, nothing notable concerning bibs. However some voices are very good.

 

Another thing is audio tracks. Similar to audiobooks but also containing  non-famous content or even sound samples, overalls "make" like undressing or the sound of the braces or else. I'm, not sure if anything of interest exists. Maybe taking some video files and close your eyes. Audio tracks would be a great idea.

I hope to find something of interest.

There are free, independent audiobooks available online. Unfortunately I don't have the time to check everything out. Maybe I will search for it.

English title "Mac Arthur's Children", Japanese title "瀬戸内少年野球団". Novel (trilogy) by Yū Aku. Almost nominated for an Oscar. Set just after WWII during occupation.

Looks quite interesting and it's quite rare showing a black boy in a Japanese movie.

There is a 1997 sequel called "Setouchi Moonlight Serenade".

I don't have the time to watch the complete movie at slow speed and will check it the next broadcasting. In parts on YouTube.

There should be a DVD (not sure about non-Japanese versions).

Rating 3-4 for now.

 

Info 294: Webfinds f/m 1980s 1930s

I was searching for some 80s (class and team) mainly non-overalls pics for photoshopping purposes (I found some very interesting ones like on classorama but no need for adding this on an overalls blog. Everyone should be able to search the web himself). I first found an interesting pic of 1935 (boys grade 9,  hickory stripes)

Later I found an interesting vintage catalog site on flickr but I only checked some of the 80s. Mainly snow bibs in Christmas catalogues. I don't know the names of the actors and I haven't found the teen girl with curly red hair in medium blue shortalls like in that link.

Pic 1 is from s3e15 "Teen Mom". A pregnant teen mom, also good complete view with hands in her pockets. Pic 2 is from s1e5 and inside a farm building / pen.

Originally I considered making an entry of Flash Forward today but I hadn't made the pics yet. Hang Time has 6 seasons and 104 episodes. I didn't had the time to check more than some few episodes.

I assume few good scenes and I don't like these High School series.

Story 76: Backpacks, belts, other accessories

This is a combination of a new TV series entry, an update and a story.

I have several entries showing girls and women wearing bibs with a belt. I sometimes wonder why. The advantage is that you don't have to wear a belt and it's more comfortable in bibs. Probably just for fashion purposes. I don't remember movies with boys wearing a belt. Most bibs are light blue and the belts are often light brown and thin. A typical example is Amazing Stories (1985) (see below) or the chicks in Home Improvement but thats a tool belt (Heidi coming soon). A list or tag with belt would be interesting but I'm still busy and a blog search for belt will do as well.

Another interesting things are backpacks. Especially if same or similar color. Make 4 straps. I often have seen headshots with actors wearing backpacks and wasn't sure if they might be overalls straps (especially if I have a clip or pic in a bad image quality). Some days ago I found (next to 2 other TV series) "Flash Forward (1996)". Pic 1 showing a teen girl in s1e3. There is also at least one more actress wearing bibs and a backpack and also a short jeans dress. Full entry coming later. Bibs and backpacks also in 7th Heaven (s4e2 and maybe others).

Previously I found Benji Gregory in ALF (s1e11) wearing dark blue bibs and a seat belt. Straps are very short and the seat belt is almost a 3rd strap and fixing the bib as well. He doesn't look happy here. I only noticed him in light blue and green bibs before.

There are other accessories like hankies in the pocket, see story 70 and 45 entry and there might be other interesting stuff. (Something in the bib pocket or attached).

I would like to see someone in overalls and chaps. But cowboys usually don't even wear overalls. Another fashion is wearing on strap loose or even the bib down (see also my other story entries). Combination with boots or barefoot is another thing.

This are already the best pics I've found. She wore other clothes at the beginning and different hairstyles including pigtails. A (different ?) young girl at the beginning in a dark jeans dress or similar.

And another one from the "missing Felix list". I found it some time ago and thought I already had this.

This Independent movie is nothing special. IMDb rating 4.4.

Few or no notable scenes. Dark lit and young girl. But could be worse.

Rating 2-3 only.

Book 36: Ralph Moody: The Home Ranch - Little Britches series

I'm currently reading "The Home Ranch" by Ralph Moody. It's part 3 of the ranch/wild west biography series starting with "Little Britches: Father and I Were Ranchers", first published in 1950. In 1970 Disney made a related movie called "The Wild Country" starring Ron and Clint Howard (but I think no overalls scenes like in the first book).

There's  10 x the word overalls in book #2 "Man of the Family", but I bought this 3rd novel where Ralph is 12 yo. He and his family moved to a ranch where he worked. His dad died one year ago, so he's the man of the family. 11x overalls is mentioned in #3.

I bought the actual black edition from publisher Bison (paperback, 280 pages). Illustrated by Tran Mawicke. There's also a good cover illustration on an earlier edition of "Man of the Family" showing a barefooted young boy (probably Ralph) in overalls on a horse. Good illustrations, but none showing bibs in book #3.

One of the 2 Western movies I recently found during research on some Wild West blogs and other Western sites. I haven't found any DVD release nor clips or any other pics or screenshots. The pic is part of the lobby card. The movie itself is b&w.

I wonder why this movie featuring Jesse James, directed by Oliver Drake (Lassie 1959 and many other Western movies), starring Johnny Carpenter and Harry Lauter) is so rare. I think the blogger where I found this movie might have seen this film and so it is possible that this had been broadcasted and will be aired from time to time. Or maybe this is even on a collection DVD (different title?) Someone also have written the IMDb entry with detailed infos and keywords.

So I can't say much more and have to wait until I have seen it. Any help, especially screenshots or clips are appreciated.

This was the movie Chiquititas I found concerning the latest suggestions. Hebrew title "קטנטנות"as that was famous especially in Israel. I think db1 meant for both suggestions the show Festigal, also containing the same Hebrew title for Chiquititas what means Little/Little girl. Israelian Tom Avni didn't appear in that Argentinian movie.

There is also the related famous Argentinian musical TV series "Chiquititas" (1995, 7 seasons) ,also showing at least girls in bibs, shortalls or similar. I haven't checked all episodes but will make an entry soon as well.

I even missed that one on my other blog and haven't seen this movie completetly. Bib at low position.

Typical (but good) East European family movie. Also other scenes like kids in speedos.

I can't say much more yet. Unfortunately this movie is probably not on DVD. But I think I won't buy it anyway. Based on the 1973 novel by Nagy Katalin.

For overalls scenes rating 4-5 for now only. I prefer dark jeans bibs and American actors.

Today I received a very interesting sounding book with ranch setting and several overalls scenes. Coming next or very soon,  I have to read a bit more of it. There is even a movie but I think without any bibs scenes.

-Comment: Several boys and at least one girl in blue bibs. Some with one strap loose. One brief cycling scene. All are pics from the 2002 show. Hebrew title "פסטיגל" which would translate Pestigal, but the correct name for that show is Festigal. More confusing is that the YouTube title containing also "קטנטנות" what is Chiquititas (Little girls). There is an Argentinian TV series and a movie called "Chiquititas: Rincón de luz" what has the same Hebrew title. Both other also containing kids in bibs (coming soon). Both are suggestions from db1.

Festigal should include Tom Avni "Super Boy" (1998, 11 or 12 yo rating 8) in yellow bibs. (I haven't found him in that) maybe a show from a different year? The older teen boy with the hat (Avni must be 16 yo in 2002) and dark blue bibs, also cycling and also later wearing white bibs in some fewer scenes (pic 3 in the middle) looks like him.

Most of the show is inside on a stage and I don't like that. Most scenes are shown from a distance. Much better are the outside scenes. Also showing probably other older teen boys or young men in bibs. The scenes showing fast movement action and short edited cuts, so it's hard to see and capture good frames. 45 minutes in total.

Rating 6-7 for this 2002 show. I should check out more shows but don't have much time. I can't understand that anyway.

Update: Now I found Tom Avni in yellow bibs in the 1997 edition. Also girls and men. Rating 3 only.

Currently being broadcasted after Home Improvement: series ALF (1986).

Funny series but probably very few scenes with the teen girl and the boy is very young and probably also very few scenes in bibs.

I don't think that he wore bibs in (much) more episodes. It looks more like just for this garden / forest scene. He is thin like most other boys and  I don't like that actor anyway. Rating 3-4 for this brief scenes. He acts as the Norther German / Hamburg boy and often wears light blue jeans. Sometimes a sailor's cap and bibs don't really fit to his role.

I have seen all of the 800+ episodes but can't remember most of it after many years.

There are several boys and girl in bibs and shortalls (but often very few scenes), please see my other entries and main entry. Maybe I missed some (supporting) actors, but most likely I would have noticed if any more handsome kids/boys wore bibs as well. Unfortunately I don't have the time to watch all episodes again but I will still check the new episodes.

-Comment: A farmer and his thin son Martin, about 11 yo in dark green working bibs and olive rubber boots in today's s4e9. Unfortunately the son always wearing a closed jacket of his bibs. It can't be seen that these are bibs, but I doubt that there are other pants in that color and fabric. The boy has short, dark blond hair and a high pitched voice. Also some or all of the 4 Ludolf''s in (blue or grey) working bibs as well in many episodes in their garage (but no need for showing any of these older gentlemen in bibs either).

As usual with non-celebrity reality series no pic. You can't see much here anyway and it is availabe on DVD and probably somewhere on the web.

3 Ludolf brothers today had visited a German farm and Martin and one Manni Ludolf cleaning the pig's pen.

I like this weird series. Chaotic but they enjoy(ed) their lives and often travelled. Maybe there are more (supporting) actors, maybe (sons) of their customers, relatives or maybe some people on their trips in bibs as well. Maybe even women? I have to investigate that further.

Several scenes, but as you can't see much, rating 3-4.

Update: Indded at least 2 young men (customers), probably around 18 in blue/grey and green working bibs a couple of episodes later.

Sixteen Candles

-Comment: I think Cinnamin Idles (see "Kidco") in blue bibs (brief scenes sitting behind a table at 21 minutes, no better scenes) and an older teen boy / young man in blue bibs at 46 minutes (pictured) and 1h02. The girl also wears a blue jeans dress at the beginning.

As announced I bought this DVD because of Justin Henry (pic 1 on left), see also Kramer vs. Kramer, 1979 (rating 3).

The movie is not bad but a typical 80s teen film. I have better ones. Also starring Anthony Michael Hall (some good dental braces scenes with him and others, also Anthony removing his headgear at the end). Unfortunately few good scenes and very few bibs scenes. The plot is about a 16 yo girl (Molly Ringwald), their older sister. However some good scenes of Justin Henry (tight blue jeans and light grey jogging pants). Also some few other younger boys like in jeans or yellow shorts.

Honestly I expected a bit more, although I knew that there are few bibs scenes and scenes of Justin. But I still like it.

Very good image quality of the DVD. (No need for a BD, no extras either).  The 80s music differs on German and English audio tracks and is not like the theater version. (Completetly different on the German track). I wonder why they can't release "The Wonder Years" that way.

Funny also the different dubbing of Justin's voice, some French or Spanish version very high pitched. There is an US collection DVD also containing an interview featuring Justin but I think  as an adult.

For the sake of completion, for bibs scenes rating 2 only. Movie rating about 6, boy actor rating 7-8. I like the 80s.

Info 291: Spam links and stats

Again there's a spam link in the "TOP CLICK LIST" on the right column that I haven't posted.

I have read what that means. This blog is not infected or hacked and that has nothing to do with the internal wordpress ads.

It should mean that one visitor is infected (or maybe one visitor leaving that referrer spam intentionally.) I have lots of spam comments each day.

I only place save links mostly to other pics, others come from my blog list, and you should not click on any link that sounds obviously like a spam site.

I don't link my pics anymore to themselves (except for high res PD pics).  It was the default setting for the pics. My early entries also link to my older blogspot blog.

 

Missing pics

Yesterday I feared, that maybe older pics would be deleted after a while, but I checked that obviously every pic was transferred to this new blog and maybe there are some temporary server issues.

 

Stats

As I have few links, the "clicks" stats is very low at around 1-2 for a single click each day and often points to an older pic. Not really valuable stats. Maybe some come from a Google image search.

A bit more on the post and pages stats. About 4-5 each day for a single post, a bit more for my TOP 10 linked lists and subpages. Most followers probably just "read" my blog (around 200 each day, just for this blog).

I found it by coincidence during research on a TV show list and checked some episodes (some other similar teen series coming soon).

Probably very few bibs scenes but it's possible that there are some more (supporting) actors/actresses in bibs.

I don't like at all these High School series with older teens or 20+ year old "teens". To me probably the worst series ever. Bibs are OK but I can't rate any higher than 4 for now unless I've seen more scenes (rear view, walking etc).

I have checked it almost completely on YouTube (KramerXKramer) but as usual at high speed only.

The boy is very young and there's is just one short scene and like Felix I would rate this with 3-4.

By coincidence I have ordered the 80s classic "Sixteen Candles" (1984) also starring Justin Henry (but I wasn't aware that this is the same actor). I have seen many pics of that movie and I think there's at least one girl, probably Cinnamon Idles (also see entry "Kidco") in blue bibs (or similar) as well (next to a woman in aprons and maybe other supporting actors). I will make an entry soon. Anthony Michael Hall is handsome but I don't like that haircut here. I recently rarely buy DVDs but I like Justin Henry in that movie. Rating 2 for the bibs scenes (f/m), much more for the movie(actor).

Maybe I have to recheck Kramer vs Kramer (the next broadcasting), but can't rate higher than 3-4 for now. Maybe 4.

I think it's rather a typical divorce drama and maybe only successfull because of the actors Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep.

Update: Complete seen on TV. Great movie and acting. But no more scenes or actors in bibs.

(These pics are even the best of it). This overweighted boy even looks a bit like girl. I think there are some very few frames of a partly rear view, but not good either. Also a man in light brown bibs.

Another one from the "missing Felix list". I have checkd it almost completely some time ago.

Interesting plot including gay men, an abusive father, a tomboy (probably not in bibs) etc. Rated R. But I think I somehow don't like this movie, there are much better ones. Directed by Thom Fitzgerald (Beefcake).

Unfortunately only very few bibs scenes in this awarded movie set in Nova Scotia.

Thanks to 2 followers pointing out, that this is not a boy but a girl. The problem is when not watching a movie with sound at slow speed and IMDb has no further infos and birth dates.  I read about a tomboy, but somehow thought that Violet would be a much older tomboy. I checked it long time ago. Rating is still  3.

I don't know/don't remember this complete movie. I like comedy films but I think I don't like these "older teens, cheerleaders and high scool movies".And I don't like her hairstyle. But I have to recheck it the next broadcasting.

Also starring Chris Evans, Jaime Pressly and Eric Christian Olsen. Maybe quite funny and interesting scenes including Lesbians.
