After the Rain (1988)

Drama, Ned Beatty
-Year: 1988
-Year in film: 1929
-Country: USA
-Who in bibs: boys ~5? , men
-Available on DVD: VHS only ?
-I own: no
-Bib occurrence: medium+ ?
-Rating:  3/10 ?
-Rating: ***
-Comment: Some young and old men and at least 2 very young boys/toddlers in bibs. Maybe more?

I found this on rarefilm net. No stream but download. And the free slow download will probably take 10 or 20 hours, 1.38 GB. I only had the time to watch 9 minutes. No boys there. Source is a retail VHS with fixed subtitles.

Maybe one is registered at that hosting and has a faster download or maybe someone might upload it to YouTube later. So needs to be rechecked later.

But I don't assume older boys. And ladies and girls in bibs in 1929 are unlikely. There are 4 kids, maybe 3 boys. It's possible that there are supporting actors.

Aka The Passage.

Rating ~3-(4) for now. Nice setting, 1929 Alabama, but boys are too young. Maybe some interesting scenes of young men.

Burger King 1976 ad

Young boy skateboarding and sitting in faded bibs. "America Loves Burgers".

Another one from Johnny N's playlist Boy overalls. Original upload from The Museum of Classic Chicago Television.

Boy is young, commercials are short. I give rating 5-(6).

Burnt (2022)

Short film, Muriel Brunier

-Available on DVD: yes ?
-I own: no
-Bib occurrence: low+ ?
-Rating:  5/10 ?
-Rating: *****
-Comment: Girl, I think Elisa de Lambert in short blue shortalls and in light brown corduroy shortalls (low back). At least 3 scenes. Sitting in brown only berhind a table. Later also a brief scene of another girl in shortalls.

Another one from Felix. Thanks very much! He has 78 pics.

She also appeared in long bibs also riding in Poly (2020) coming soon.

I don't like much shortalls, but I give rating 5.

Svanurinn

Drama
-Year: 2017
-Year in film: 2010s ?
-Country: Iceland, others
-Who in bibs: girl Sól 9
-Available on DVD: yes ?
-I own: no
-Bib occurrence: low+ ?
-Rating:  3/10 ?
-Rating: ***
-Comment: Gríma Valsdóttir as 9yo main character in tight faded bibs, low back. Also sitting on the floor but poor view. And in olive waterproof fishing bibs.

Another one from Felix. Thanks very much! He has 78 pics. (Not showing fishing bibs, pic on IMDb).

English title: The Swan.

Obviously some few brief scenes. I don't like at all the rear view (one scene). And I don't like tight bibs and low backs. Actress is good. Maybe the fishing bibs are better.

Rating ~3-(4).

Inga Lindström: Rezept für die Liebe

-Who in bibs: Lilly ~11
-Available on DVD: yes ?

-Comment: Finja Leonie Meyer *2014 in faded bibs. At least 3 different shirts, also pink and white with colorful dots. In yesterday's new ep 110, s24e1.

I only have seen 1 or 2 minutes yesterday and very briefly checked some parts today. Available on the zdf mediathek.

Rating ~(4)-5 for now. I haven't noticed rear views or sitting scenes but probably I've missed scenes. Pic 1 at the beginning, pink bibs at 23, dottet at end.

Bibs are quite simple and I usually don't like that, I don't assume a low back. So I hope for some good scenes.

Main series overview, f/m rating up to 6

Los Futbolísimos

Family film, kids soccer
–Year: 2018
–Year in film: 2010s ?
–Country: Spain
–Who in bibs: Helena ~12 ?
–Available on DVD: yes
–I own: no
–Bib occurrence: low- ?
–Rating:  3/10 ?
–Rating: ***
–Comment: Girl in long tight dark blue bibs in the 2nd halt (part 19) and near the beginning a very brief scene of a girl (probably same girl Helena played by Milene Mayer *2005) in faded shortalls, low back standing rear view (part 2). Both pairs on cover or movie posters. Maybe more scenes and maybe more (supporting) actresses.

There's a playlist having 180 clips. I haven't checked all the clips. But I assume rather few scenes. Cycling scenes but unknown if also in bibs or shortalls.

Later briefly checked, pic at 38. Obviously even fewer scenes than assumed. I haven't found any scenes of the shortalls front view like on the movie poster and no more scenes of the long pair either.

Rating ~3-(4).

English title:  The Footballest. There is a 2025 sequel. Not checked yet. Simplified title Los futbolisimos.

Unknown docu Windsbacher Knabenchor ca 1996

I just have uploaded this clip. I probably don't have the full documentary. Very brief scene of a choir boy sitting in bibs. Maybe there were more scenes. Rebroadcast ca. end 2011. Nice bowl cuts and swimming pool scene. Bavarian boys choir.

For the brief scene rating ~3. Documentary itself higher, ca 5.

Update: Die Schatzsuche (1985 school project)

Just found as YouTube recommandation. Older boy ca. 12-13 yo in tight olive bibs, sometimes with a belt, also wet scenes including rear. Also a very young boy. 19 minutes. Several scenes.

I first considered rating ~3, as I don't like tight bibs. But due to wet scenes I give rating 4-(5).

Full title:  Die Schatzsuche - Schülerfilm aus Itingen (BL) von 1985. Briefly checked.

–Who in bibs: girls ~11, 6 ?
–Available on DVD: no?
–I own: no
–Bib occurrence: very low ?
–Rating:  3/10 ?
–Rating: ***
–Comment: Girl in longer bleached or white shortalls. Brief scene in the second half at 10-11. A bit earlier a much younger blonde girl in shortalls or dress on a seesaw at 8.

Just found, briefly checked. From the German 16mm channel. I think dialogue free, looks almost like a classic silent film. Starring: Jimmy Ormrod, Susan Murray, Scott Decker, Kasim Saul, Patrick Stephenson, Frank Zaino, Kaity Bemis, Cassandra Bytz, Justin Matthews, Meg Church, Cosmo the Dog.

Name of girl(s) unknown. Correct title: Frog, Where Are You?. Filmed/produced 1994.

There was a 13 minute sequel, same year called "Frog on His Own", maybe also having bibs scenes?

Rating 3-(4) for the brief scene(s).

Update: The Music Man (2003)

Another rating 3 re-upload. Rating was 2-3. I had one more pic, headshot only, no need for that. Older black boy in faded bibs. The original 1962 movie is much better (rating 10).

–Comment: At least Mathieu Bulle (1990-2021) in at least these blue coveralls doing farm work.

Pic from a trailer. There's a nice swimming pool scene which I have just uploaded. I don't have the full movie and don't recall the farm scenes. Maybe he or others in regular bibs as well?

Pic on IMDb appear light green coveralls. Maybe another pair, but I think just a retouched pic as the front looking the same.

English title: The Apprentice. Not sure when this has been filmed. He looks much younger.

Rating ~3-4 for now.

–Comment: A girl at the very beginning sitting on grass (headshot and distance) and at 6 a boy in longer white shortalls, distance, rear view and partial front/side. Brief scenes. Also young men and ladies in different coveralls including light red, light blue and white.

Just found as YouTube recommendation. I don't have the time to check it completely at regular speed. So I might have missed scenes. I missed the light blue coveralls, also Joaquin Phoenix in those. I have to re-check that later.

Also some nice shiny shorts and nice bunk beds.

Rating ~4 for now. Movie higher ~6-7.

Also sitting on the floor, cross legged. So no good rear view (briefly some parts). Also a younger girl in shortalls, very brief scene.

Another one from Felix. Thanks very much! He has 103 pics

Rating ~5 for now. Could me much higher without the jacket.

A suggestion from Marc. Thanks very much!

The trailers and teaser first didn't appear as a horror film.

–Who in bibs: girl ~8 ?

–I own: no
–Bib occurrence: very low ?
–Rating:  4/10 ?
–Rating: ****
–Comment: Young girl, ~8 yo in long blue bibs, mainly or only at 12. I think she also in dark brown bibs or more likely a dress behind a table and a teen girl in a long bibs-like medium blue dress. Latter 2 scenes shown in the trailer. Young girl might be Emma Luisa Kriemer de Matos or Linja Elise Tauber.

Another suggestion from Mosquito. Thanks very much!

I found this full movie on OK. English title: In Good Faith.

Briefly checked. Not that bad. But I think only one notable brief scene of the young girl, running front view and sitting. Rating ~4-(5).

Update: Männer häppchenweise

Rating 3 re-upload. Young boy in longer shortalls, brief scene. 2003 movie.
