Unknown #1 found! = Game, Set, and Match

By concidence, I recognized the greyhaired man as Ian Holm in a different movie and so finally found the title.

It's the TV series "Game, Set and Match" (1988). The kid in bibs is the girl Kirsten Valder (few scenes in ep 6).

Also a lady I think in coveralls in ep 9. Pic 1 also from ep 9.

Update: Dying Young

I have rechecked this movie starring Julia Roberts (at high speed).

I haven't even found the snow scene with her in bibs shown in the trailer (see main entry) and no other scenes with her like the riding scene from the cover. Must be very brief (flashback) scenes.

But I have found this black teen girl in light blue bibs at the beginning playing Chinese jump rope. Few and brief scenes, partial close up and from a distance.

Also another young, black kid, probably a boy at 24 minutes. Brief scene rear view only.

Update: Home Fires Burning (1989)

I found this movie starring Neil Patrick Harris on YouTube, so I uploaded these better pics.

Unfortunately, I only noticed this brief scene but also showing him running away (rear view). Also men in bibs. And he also in an apron.

Nice early 1940s setting and props. Good, but typical Hallmark movie.

I have entries on my bedroom and shiny shorts blog (boys, rating up to 7 including Adidas shorts) and I missed all bibs scenes, until I have briefly rechecked this series today. So it's still possible, that I miss some scenes/actors. Another great series by Karst van der Meulen, this time reality TV.

Pic 1 from ep 4 segment "Star" showing 14 yo Fabiola Kleyn in light blue bibs, also sitting and farm and cycling scenes.

Pic 2+4 from ep 3 with 14 yo Natasja Grant in 2 diffent pairs. Not sure if pic 4 are long bibs and with a belt as well.

Pic 3 is from ep 1 showing 11 yo Mariska Rengelink in light blue, rare bibs, more likely sleeveless coveralls. Wide white belt. Several good scenes. This freckled girl is my favourite in bibs.

Rating almost 7 but I don't like most girls and the belts. Nice 80s kids, haircuts and other clothes. I currently don't have the time to watch all episodes at slow speed.

I have rechecked this complete movie. Even more bibs scenes than assumed (often hands in pockets) and also at least one girl in dark blue bibs or similar. (High back part/short straps).

Pic 1 showing the boy, most often shown, here cycling. He also wore a shortsleeved white/striped shirt. Bib at very high position.

Pic 2 also showing the blonde, pigtailed girl, middle background. Obviously rather few scenes of her. Scene at 22 minutes.

Pic 3 at 1h14 showing one more scene of the other, longhaired kid in hickory striped bibs, here sitting. I'm still not sure if this is a boy or girl. Anybody know the name? Behavior and movements more like a boy, the voice and hair rather like a girl.

When Calls the Heart (2014) - s1e2

This series is currently reaired on BibelTV. S1e2 has been aired yesterday (I missed some parts). Also available on the mediathek.

Next to the 2 boys, I found one more, taller, dark blonde boy at school in beige bibs (pic 3). Most scenes are from a distance and most often shown is the blonde boy in light blue bibs. I have to recheck this and the previous episode at slow speed. And season 5.

Nice costumes and also pigtailed girls in dresses (some partly bibs-like). Pigtails blog, rating 6.

Update: Wind at My Back – Season 1

I have finally finished disc 2 of season 1 (ep 2-5). Some few great scenes, but as said, I already had the best scenes and prefer season 3.

Pic 1 is from ep 5 at 5 minutes showing a headshot of Fat and the straps.

Pic 2 is from ep 3 at 16 minutes. Probably the best scene on this disc. Nice, slow walking scene of Fat in the faded bibs and the yellow shirt. Also more close up and even better, but I don't want to show too indescent pics. Long scene starting at 8 minutes and continues running to his dog (rear view).

Pic 3 is a dancing scene in ep 4 at 33 minutes. I think Hub wore bibs under the pullover but not sure. Bibs appear tight. Nice swinging of the hips. Fat dancing with the dog. Another great scene of Hub outside at 35 minutes.

Pic 5 showing another teen boy in ep 4 at 18 minutes after practising the human pyramid. There are more, older teen boys in bibs (I already have) but bibs and actors are fat and ugly. Also one younger boy in the pyramid but from a distance. I have all in the series first update.

Fat has his jeans on his bed in ep 5 at 8 minutes, but I think these are regular jeans (he rarely wore).

Update: Now completely checked and made some better pics. A bit fewer scenes than first assumed. Also some more sitting scenes. And even swimming in bibs. Backside simple suspenders only. Update: La Canne de mon père

I have rechecked this complete movie, rating 6. As assumed, almost all "bibs" turned out to be aprons or similar (woman, older girl in light blue + dark blue, young girl, ~2 boys), most aprons are very long. So I think real bibs only the older boy in beige bibs with a belt (and once even with a gas mask) and the dad. So rather few bibs scenes used mainly for work.

Great movie with an early, rural setting and a large Waltons-like family (very soon on my bedroom blog, rating ~7) and other scenes of interest (shirtless, chubby boy).

Wind at My Back – S1e1

Some more pics from s1e1. I already have the best scenes from season 1. Only one pic of s1e1, which is one of the best (the picnic sitting scene of Fat). I don't like much the bibs of young Fat. Another brief sitting scene inside at 14 min, but dark lit (pic 3), also the sweeping scene at 27 min, later standing, side view. And another rear view which is after the picnic scene at ~17 min and looks a bit different and not that baggy.

I also discovered some other boys on disc 2 which I still haven't finished (coming soon).

Quite interesting, but I don't know all songs as there are only 3 clips on YouTube. Maybe more kids, but most kids are even younger.

DVD maybe from 2012 as the YouTube clips were also uploaded, but copyrights also says 1995. So maybe filmed earlier. DVD contains 14 songs and is only 30 minutes long. Official website is defunct since 2016. Maybe all DVDs sold?

Rating 4-5 for now.

Update: The Sweetest Gift

I now found a trailer of this 1998 Hallmark movie which was uploaded later and not available when posting this in 2013.

Next to the young boy in light blue bibs and the teen girl in shortalls, I now also found this young black boy in red bibs. Also some men and maybe women in bibs.

Also nice the milking scene.
