And yet another one from the "chicks list" which isn't open availbale anymore. I don't know the complete movie as I don't like at all such romances. Film rated R, also starring Hayden Panettiere, Liam Aiken, Lauren Pratt, Paul Rudd and others; novel by Stephen McCauley.

I can't say much more about it and have to check it later. Bibs look not bad. Though I assume rather few bib scenes. Story is also about a gay teacher and pregnancy.

Very good and funny family series. I have seen it in the 90s. But I don't like this thin and younger brother with curly hair and prefer the older (11 yo) main character (Michael Geleoto in very good regular jeans). There is also a sister, parents and maye some other (supporting) actors, but I don't know of any others in bibs. 14 yo sister Andi Eystad wears shortalls at least in another movie (I think "The Legend of Cryin' Ryan" (1998), i will check and add this later.

Sadly it's still not available on DVD, not even on VHS. So I hope for a soon broadcasting or some more clips on YouTube. Maybe I will also later check my old VHS tapes, I think I have some parts of it.

Young Artist Award for Galeota, series nominated for an Emmy. Aka "Bailey Kippers P.O.V." and "Bailey Kipper's Point of View". Also starring Meg Wittner and John Achorn.

Rating 4 for bib scenes only (series would be rating 7). Very good plot of a spy cam. Typical brother behaviour. Now rating at least 5.

One of the others complete movies from YouTube I checked by coincidence. I haven't seen it complete. She is also sitting at a campfire or at the tents, but her bibs can't be noticed as she wore a jacket. Maybe a quite good slasher film, but there are definitely better ones. I like the 80s (also typical hair style). But I assume rather few (good) bib scenes.

Also starring former child star Jackie Coogan (1914-1984, "The Kid"), obviously his last movie and Carel Struycken ("The Addams Family") as The Monster. Film rated R.

I think officially only released on VHS (and so a quite bad image quality). I have to check this again.

-Comment: Next to the famous grown up host Peter Lustig (jeans bibs, grey short hair, unpictured) one unknown teen boy in blue working bibs in ep. s24e1 "Peter will 'ne Minikuh" (2004, Löwenzahn Classics). I think occasionally also some few younger kids in bibs and maybe shortalls. Not sure about girls. I think even (older) women in bibs. Sorry, I don't remember all episodes of 31+ seasons. Very famous German family series, actual episodes (except the classics rebroadcastings) are now starring Guido Hammesfahr (who rarely wears bibs) instead of Peter Lustig who always did until he quits in 2005. I don't like the modern version.

Farm content and funny and interesting plots. Sadly very few kids in bibs. Some few DVDs available. I missed the beginning of this episode and only saw this teen inside this excavator. There is also at least one feature film (which I also have to check). Some clips on YouTube, but I haven't checked them. Maybe I find some more the next airings.

I saw some episodes by coincidence today. I prefer the original 1995 movie starring Constantin von Jascheroff, Iris Berben and Angelika Milster. There is also a 2007 film remake.

Good plot and funny family entertainment, but I don't like boys with long hair (Lindow). Farm content but probably few farm scenes at least not with this girl in skirtalls. Also some boys at school and cycling, but I don't know of any other actor in bibs (maybe some older men, maybe in coveralls).

Series is actual running on each Sunday morning at das-erste (place of Mama ist unmöglich). I will check the other episodes as well, but there are better series. 1989 novel by Uwe Timm.

I checked some complete films on YouTube and found this famous film (and some other, coming soon). Novel by Max Braithwaite. Reminds me a bit of "The People (1972)", rating 6.

Some very good scenes, also dressing on bibs (not completely shown) and playing in the sand/dust. Bibs at least of one of the younger boys are quite baggy (3rd pic on right). Kids are from the typical one-room school house of different grades. 1930s, rural content. I checked the complete film, mostly at high speed. I wish that the image quality would be better.

I have to check this again. It's even completely at least twice on YouTube, but I don't like watching films online. Maybe I even will buy the DVD and the novel. Rated PG.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

After "Star Trek: The New Generations" (rating 8 starring Joshua Harris and another boy in similar green and brown pants, see also that entry) now also this Star Trek series. I haven't seen this episode completely and don't remember all the other episodes, but I saw pics with him in different clothes (typical Star Trek uniforms). Some are also blue and even have a bibs like pattern.

I don't like later series like the first 2 (60s classic TOS, starring William Shatner and TNG starring Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes and Wil Wheaton).

Lofton was nominated for a Young Artist and a Young Star Award. For this series "only" 4 Emmys, TNG got 18.

I saw this by concidence some days ago. Maybe there are more (guest) stars in similar clothing. Perhaps I will find more later.

Also often titled as "Joey (1985)" but not to be confused with the German/US fantasy film by Roland Emmerich and starring Joshua Morell as 9 yo Joey and a ventriloquist dummy. This 1986 film is about Rock'n Roll and teens. Story by Ellen Hammill (who also starred), directed by Joseph Ellington.

I don't remember this complete film and only checked it at high speed. There is also a peeing scene of a boy in tighty whities where a teen boy and girl coming into the bathroom.

I can't say much more about this, but the 1985 film I like much more. See also that entry, rating 5 with 2 boys in bibs.

Will check this again the next broadcasting. Also completely on YouTube with 1985 and movie in the title.

Rating 2 for now for bib scenes. Film is probably better than first assumed. I like 80s US films but alway turned it off as soon I noticed that this is not the 85 film.

Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang

Both in green rubber boots (pictured). Another boy Eros Vlahos in breeches/knickers. Also starring another boy (Asa Butterfield) and girl, but not in bibs.

I already had a combined entry about this and the first (2005) Nanny McPhee film (rating 5, and rather 4 for now for the 1st film), but I haven't seen both films before. Yesterday I saw this film completely. Good, entertaining and funny family film with a witch like nanny (Emma Thompson). Good farm setting and farm work also showing some cute pigs. Unfortunately the boy is very young and I don't like bibs with single suspenders at the backside. There are no braces but big buttons instead. Also not sure if this is real denim fabric. Some good scenes. The girl is also sitting on the ground. Also a lot of mud. A strange mix of farm and fantasy content.

I like farm films, but I can't rate any higher than rating 4-5. Film aka "Nanny McPhee Returns" Vlahos was nominated for a Young Artist Award.
