I saw some episodes by coincidence today. I prefer the original 1995 movie starring Constantin von Jascheroff, Iris Berben and Angelika Milster. There is also a 2007 film remake.
Good plot and funny family entertainment, but I don't like boys with long hair (Lindow). Farm content but probably few farm scenes at least not with this girl in skirtalls. Also some boys at school and cycling, but I don't know of any other actor in bibs (maybe some older men, maybe in coveralls).
Series is actual running on each Sunday morning at das-erste (place of Mama ist unmöglich). I will check the other episodes as well, but there are better series. 1989 novel by Uwe Timm.
Rating 3-4 for now. Clip is from season 3 also showing a man in green working bibs. One episode (same as pic) is on YouTube. English title:" Rudy the Racing Pig (2008)".
