Update: OM (f/m) rating 5-6

 

I have checked all episodes I found on this great Swedish channel by Introkungarna. OM means "about". Aka OM-program. And there's also a series "Om OM", which is an info or trailer 5 minutes. The earliest clip I found is from 1973 (b&w, another one in color, no bibs), the most recent one from the mid or late 80s. So a long running series (maybe still running I found some modern clips), and probably many old episodes still missing. Research is difficult with this title. Channel UR Utbildningsradion. There's always a "-" between OM and the episode title without space. There were books and or magazines (OM Tidningen). I haven't found it yet on either IMDb nor worldcat.

Beeing a pre-school series, there are also some older kids. Maybe ladies and men as well.

Some quick info. More info on SU. Swedish series 1978. At least 5 parts a 15 min. I mainly checked for the OM series. See previous and upcoming post. I only checked one part yet (ep 4). Uploader Introkungarna. Novel by Karin van Dijk. Educational series. I haven't found much info. Maybe rating ~4?

During research for my ELT blog, I found a rare episode of the 1974 adventure series "Here We Come" (see my other blog but no bibs at least not in that episode). That uploader Introkungarna has some more vintage stuff from Swedish TV (channel UR Utbildningsradion). Different producers Berith Oxelbeck (this ep).

Clip is called  Hur man gör en kamera. Clip says OM-hur man bygger en kamera. OM is obviously a series, M maybe for magazine? He has several more episodes. Boy and girl or maybe 2 boys in ep OM - Hur man gör TV (1982) pic 2. Girl in orange bibs and man in blue in ep OM - Tripp, trapp, trä (1976). Maybe the best yet, pic 3. Later I found a kid, probably boy (Frans Berglund) sitting in blue and I think red in ep OM - Jacobs tofflor (1978).

He also has some more interesting 70s/80s stuff, but I haven't checked them all yet. Looks like a blonde girl at the end in Jakob Dunderskägg (1973).

Rating ~3-4 for this episode. Series/other episodes probably higher. I just have found this and needs more research. Prouduction company or original broadcaster or similar (of most episodes): TRU. Stands for Television och radio i utbildningen kommitten.

I found some more, even better episodes, previously rating 3-(4) for this episode and ~4 for the others shown, nowm at least rating 5-(6)

Girl is too young, lady too old and has an open jacket. But there might be some good scenes(?).

Die WG (2009) season 22 (Die Jungs-WG)

 

There's a new season of Die Jungs-WG running on Kika called Pistengaudi im Pitztal. Season is still running. In ep 5 "Ski und Shopping" there's a teen boy in snow bibs and  teen boy Luke (half US American, the only boy of interest) in a costume with short green bibs. Also very young kids in ski pants, at least one are pants with suspenders, maybe some in coveralls or bibs.

Most of the 5 boys are quite old or looking older and most have foreign origins. The only season I like very much is season 3 of boys (now season 5) Ohne Eltern in den Schnee, Tyrol 2013.

Now called and combined boys and girls as "Die WG", I have season 7 Sommer. Sonne. Elternfrei. (boys rating 5) and re-uploaded that pic. 

I have 2 seasons of Die Mädchen-WG (teen girls) I think season 3 (season 6 of Die WG) and season 4 (season 8 of Die WG) rating up to 4, and die wohngemeinschaft 2018. Also related Das erste Mal ... (teen boy and girl) seasons USA and Asien (and Indonesien, Vietnam linked there) girl rating up to 7! 

For this for now rating ~2-3. Tuesdays on Kika 20h10. Also on the mediathek of Kika and ZDF and on YouTube. Currently 6 episodes, but there will be I think 2 more. 

 

Update 3: The Edison Twins (f/m)

 

Yesterday, I have roughly checked all 5 seasons. I haven't found any other bibs scenes. So by coincidence I have found them all or at least the notable scenes by checking some very few random episodes. At least some racing coveralls (I think men and women) and maybe snow bibs (boys, maybe also girls and grown-ups but with closed jackets).

So I think rating 5-(6) was correct. It's possible that I missed scenes.

Thanks db1 for suggesting Drexell's Class for the 2nd time and The Edison Twins for the 3rd time. 

I have completely checked all episodes of Drexell's Class 1 1/2 year ago and uploaded up to 8 pics. If you know of even better pics, especially of Matthew Lawrence please tell me the episode number. I can't post pics of every scene of all actors though.

Update 2: Growing Pains (f/m)

 

(1985-1992). I'm watching my old DVDs and I like the 80s. Next to the blue bibs of Tracey Gold, I already had, I found her in these light grey bibs in s1e3. Bib at very low position (rather pants with suspenders) but I think quite high back on the rear. Also sitting (but with a book on her lap). One or 2 brief rear views. But few and brief scenes. Maybe more in other episodes. I also have to check the later seasons 3 and up. I encountered some disc issues, especially on season 2 with some of my favourite scenes of Ben not accessable at all on any device.

Update: The Long Hot Summer (1985)

 

Another rating 3 re-upload. (3-4). Also having at least a little girl, some ladies and men. I had 2 more pics but from a distance. I have just very roughly checked again the full movie and uploaded a new pic 1). I haven't noticed a lady or other better scenes. So rating 3-(4) was correct. Starring Don Johnson. 

Movie has 2 parts and is according IMDb 3h20. The longest YouTube clip is 2h20. I found 2 parts in German with 1h30 each, so still 20 minutes missing. At the beginning of part 2 I found 2 ladies, 1 black lady sitting rear and one white lady walking from a distance.

Some scenes but also with an open jacket. So this dancing scene is the best.

I like this actor ("Kartoffeln mit Stippe", other blog rating 10 and I even uploaded parts of another rare series Der Patenonkel (teen girl, rating 6). 

Uploaded on the 16mm channel 2 years ago under the episode title. On IMDb under the series title. There were 5 episodes, this is ep 3. Different previous DEFA directors and probably actors on each episode. Director here Herrmann Zschoche. Plot is about the lives and friendships of kids in former East Germany after the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Rare series and few info. It's possible, that there are more bibs scenes in other episodes. I only found one pic of ep Anna im Aufzug (no bibs, younger actors).

Rating ~7-8 for the few good scenes.

By coincidence, I've seen a trailer on German's channel One. Season 1 available on the ardmediathek. I only have roughly checked 4 or 5 episodes. Obviously rather few/very few scenes, often headshots. There's a teen daughter (and 39 yo single mom and chubby twin brother, very chubby in later seasons), but not known in bibs. Nice Football scenes of the brother and others at least in seasons 4 and 5.

Bibs and yellow shirt in s2e11. Bibs also in several episodes of season 3. There also will be a 6th season and a 2nd spin-off movie next to the Christmas movie.

Correct title: L'Œil du Cyclone. English/German title: Perfect Storm.

I don't like much this young girl. Maybe more interesting in later seasons. Originally I considered rating ~3-(4) for season 1, but now after having seen more from later seasons rating at least ~4-5 for now.

By coincidence I found this 2007 song with her in black skirtalls. British singer (*2000, "Britain's Got Talent"). 

I haven't found any other clips or pics in real bibs. There are two nice 2020 pics of her in blue (snow ?) coveralls with and without helmet on x/pinterest (Iceland Adventures). Maybe from a 2013 (?) clip or tour/trip but I haven't found a clip.

Info: Scale model, miniatures

 

I like miniatures and dioramas and almost tried it all. Tabletop (metal), then plastic like ships, 1/72, railroad, paper, ending up in 1:35 scale. MiniArt has some nice stuff like vehicles and civilians. Most are still set in WWII though but there's are some modern stuff.

These are different kits, around 2023. On left Paint Workers (2 men, one in apron), then Milkmen. On right Calvados Sellers (2 men, one in jacket and apron and a cart). There is a related set Butchers, but no bibs. Size is about 5cm, plastic is quite soft, I don't have these but others. Bibs have a low back. Sculpted by Sergey Alkhno. Unpainted built figures on themodellingnews (7/2023).

These are official pics, cover illustrations and pro-painted miniatures by Konstantin Pinaev. I haven't found a built painter. Bottom left from a YouTube clip. The straps are poor and hard to notice. And one is limited to the poses, especially arms, unless mixing with different sets. Painting, especially of the fabrics' folds needs experience and different shades. Accessories and caps can be left out but would result in strange poses and flat heads.

There are no notable kids and teens yet. I hope for some. There are some (painted) H0 figures. I searched for The Waltons miniatures and found some, but custom built and not for sale. I found this 2025 diorama by Matthias and Silvia Teufert on the German Waltons site (I think only John and Zeb in bibs and bibs on clothes line)

Briefly checked. Not bad, but too few scenes, I haven't noticed full rear views. Sitting could also be better (not tagging). Rating 4-(5).

 

Update 3: La baleine blanche

 

Next to the older blond teen boy (rating 4) I found this French girl or teen girl, could be in the final episode. Sitting in white bibs. Brief scene. Maybe more scenes in other episodes. But usually they wore less. Pic from my personal VHS recordings. But I think these are available.

I don't recall the complete series. But probably very few scenes in total.

Great series about a floating school. For bibs scenes rating ~4-5, series itself much higher.

(Some scenes, I think bibs scenes) Set in Colorado 81 years ago. Johnny mentions s2e10. I haven't found any scenes there by a brief search but there should be. Obviously very few and brief scenes. Pic is from a YouTube summary, I think mainly or only concisting of screencaps. Also with an open jacket, 

I found a scene in s2e12 (but with a mask) at the very beginning and in brown plushy coveralls, I think a summary of s2e11 and a brief scene later in s2e11 at 7 (some scenes in mine).

I haven't found good full views. No rear views, no sitting scenes and the like. I obviously missed scenes including the one pictured. I have to re.check this. Unfortunatley only 4 seasons and probably no other actors (at least no boys).

Rating ~4-(5) for now. Series itself probably higher.
