I previously just found a very brief clip of this episode and boy (Fratz Fantom) in purple bibs. Update 3 and update 6. Maybe also in update 1. Last Saturday there was the full episode aired (still available on the ORF mediathek) called Das Gold der Geiermeiers.
Bibs are better than thought. Jeans fabric, pointed bib maybe Carhartt and boots. Several scenes. Also in black shiny shorts with longer yellow compression tights underneath (transforming into these while turning around).
The actor is quite young and I prefer the blond boy in yellow shortalls in that role.
Rating ~4-(5).
Also he in a sailor suit and another long haired boy in the sunday's episode (other blog).

To me these look a lot like Rocky brand dungarees. Unfortunately, even the highest quality available from the Mediathek does not show enough detail to be sure. For instance in "Sune i fjällen" on the Blu-Ray there is just enough detail to see the red Rocky logo tag in the pocket in one scene. But given that the bib looks very close in shape, and this is a European series, I'm confident it is Rocky brand here too.
Maybe these were coloured purple by the production, but they are not the only Rocky dungarees with an unusual colour. There are photos from a magazine shoot in ~1997 of Aaron Carter in yellow Rocky dungarees, and the red logo is visible in the pocket there too.
