And another movie completely rechecked (at high speed). Only one long scene of Lucas Black in faded bibs between 35 and 43 minutes. Leaving the house (headshot+rear view), inside the shop (front+rear full view, walking, hands in pockets, the best scenes) then walking in the woods (rear view and sitting but I think headshot and distance only, partial views).

Great bibs, interesting movie, but for the few scenes still rating 6.

Previously only 1 very poor image, now some better and larger ones.

After reading my last book by Borden Deal, I've checked some of his movies and so found this one. Another movie "For the Love of Willadean" soon on my Western blog.

I only noticed this brief scene of the teen boy. But as usual, I've only checked this at high speed. Directed by Elia Kazan ("East of Eden").

So rating~2-3 only. Maybe a bit more for the movie itself. Nice 30s farm setting. Also soon on my pigtails blog (young girl, brief scene, rating ~3-4).

Die Kinder vom Alstertal – season 2

Fewer bibs scenes in season 2, I haven't even noticed Tobias in bibs. Mainly Kiki, often in white shortalls (also sitting) and in s2e13 in orange ones (pic 1). Girl Merle in long, dark blue bibs in s2e13 (pic 2).

Teen boys and maybe girls in fishing bibs and firefighters (grown-ups only ?) in s2e9 (both mainly from a distance).

Die Kinder vom Alstertal - season 1 - over a man's shoulder

I have briefly rechecked all 13 episodes of season 1 and some few of season 2. Some more interesting scenes.

Pic 2 showing Kiki in long, blue bibs being carried in s1e7.

Pic 1 Lisa in longer, dark blue, maybe non-jeans shortalls in s1e5. I think only this brief scene of interest. Also in those shortalls cycling and more scenes in s1e10 (see other entries).

Pic 3 showing Tobias. Also Merle and Niklas in Lederhosen (I missed on my Lederhosen blog and only noticed both in sailor suits).

Update: Dennis the Menace (1959)

 

By coincidence, I stumbled on this series (YouTube recommendation). Some clips are in very poor image quality (very light). Other clips seems too dark. And so do his bibs. Probably it's always the same pair (or they had some spare ones). Some nice sitting scenes and the fabric seems of very thin cotton.

Bibs are quite roomy, legs are a bit flared. Bib at quite high position.

I don't have the time to check all 146 episodes. Pic 1 from s1e1. Pic 2 from s1e16, pic 3 from s2e5, pic 4 from s2e4,

Also soon on my bedroom and Western blogs. Great series and handsome actor. I used to watch it on English in the 90s.

Updates: Books 77+78

Finally finished Borden Deal. As assumed, many scenes near the end. But brief descriptions and nothing much of interest. Barefooted, some farm work and a cousin wearing dad's bibs which are too tight. They all wore bibs even on Sundays, but very few good scenes.

The "Circle C Adventures " has one or 2 good descriptions of the 12 yo tomboy. Like peeling off the muddy bibs. No notable descriptions of the (teen) boys yet. Levi just arrived.

Maybe the books aimed at younger kids are even better? Unfortunately almost all book series are about and aimed at girls.

Little House on the Prairie – s5e17

As announced more pics of this episode. I already had a larger, updated pic on the season's 5 entry (pic 2), previously from a different season. Now also in a red shirt and standing. Bibs are tight and the bib at high position. Longer, 1970s haircuts. The boy in bibs is 12 or 13 yo Sean Frye ("E.T.") who only appeared in this episode. The other probably Al Eisenmann, brother of Ike.

Rather few good bibs scenes. Sitting, but I think headshot shown only.

One in faded light blue bibs the other in darker ones.

But rather few good scenes.
