Finally finished Borden Deal. As assumed, many scenes near the end. But brief descriptions and nothing much of interest. Barefooted, some farm work and a cousin wearing dad's bibs which are too tight. They all wore bibs even on Sundays, but very few good scenes.
The "Circle C Adventures " has one or 2 good descriptions of the 12 yo tomboy. Like peeling off the muddy bibs. No notable descriptions of the (teen) boys yet. Levi just arrived.
Maybe the books aimed at younger kids are even better? Unfortunately almost all book series are about and aimed at girls.
