Info 117: Picasa Album limitations, bugs

Maybe this is of interest for other bloggers.

Picasa Web Album has space for 1000 pics (per blog, without paying additional fees). Since some few weeks ago there is a "blogger - Picasa issue" with problems uploading pics. It doesn't work properly if you upload from within a blog, then each pic will generate a separate album with one pic (or the amount of pics from that post) only.
I noticed that soon and upload pics manually to the album first. I think this is still a bug and Google still can't solve this problem (among lots of others).
The known issue had been transfered to the Picasa help site.
Luckily I had few problems recently (still the blog search doesn't work properly, especially not on my newer blog).

I also wondered that at 900 pics Picasa automatically created another new empty album. It's still possible to upload more than 900 pics on the other one. I first thought that all pics would be lost. It's also not possible to save or download an album. (Of course I have the pics on my HD but it would be a lot of work to reupload and put them in each post).

I'm also not sure if Google will delete older pics, if not viewed for a period of time. I try to prevent this by starting a slide show from time to time.
It's also not possible to show the most viewed pics except for checking each pic manually.

Service could be much better, but I recently saw again also problem with other free blog hosters (including not accessable due to maintenance or server overloads). However, at the next big problem, I move my blogs.
They might have enough people, but instead of solving problems, they obviously prefer checking out new things which cause additional problems.
They will loose more customers like this.

This is a 30 minutes short film, a test movie for "Children of the Corn" (1984) aka "Stephen King: The Night of the Crow". Scene showing the moment as the couple driving on the road and overrunning someone, descending the car and checking the body.

Perfect plot and farm film(s)/film series and one of my favourite farm and slasher movies, see also that entry, rating 6, but few bib scenes, I wonder why (younger boy in "Children of the Corn").

I have only checked this briefly. Probably not better than the original famous feature film.

Rating 5. Maybe someone like shirtless teen boys in bibs. Completely on YouTube.

Info 116: suggestions, curiosity

Thanks very much for the recent suggestions! I even have ordered both DVDs.

I searched a lot but couldn't find any clips with bibs. But pics and plot are very interesting. Probably no girls or womens in bibs, but who knows.

I still need the episode # of "Unhappily Ever After" showing Justin Berfield. Maybe someone can help.

Yesterday I checked more than 10,000 photographs on ebay. Pre 1940s and 1950s-1970s. Some are quite good and most showing pics in quite high res. So no need to buy them. Some are just reprints. Others are offered as a lot or in albums and that would be interesting what pics are in there. I am interested in vintage pics (also 1900s sailor suit pics for my other blog). I also have added some new blog links there. I also wondered, why people sell their private pics. Maybe some died or sell it after digitizing. Same for old movie reels. Even more interesting. Some even don't know what's on them.

Maybe most are curious about what I will post next.

I'm not sure if I should post films with very young kids or movies I don't like or movies with very few scenes of supporting actors/actresses.
Probably others may like a movie which I rate with 2 as the taste and orientation is very different.

Anyway, I will continue and try my best. It's more and more difficult.

Probably a quite good family drama. Young Artist Award vor Zal and a nomination for Kiger.
Available on DVD and I wonder why there are so few pics and clips on the web. I like the 80s. Maybe I have even seen it, but can't remember.
She also wore other clothes so I assume few or medium bib scenes.

Today I have seen this intro of the new season 15 (2 episodes yet). I'm not not sure if she will be shown in those bibs in this season, but I think so.

As I don't know much more yet, I can't say if these are good scenes, I don't particularly like this actress, but I like this series, plot and different characters.
She is not one of the new pupils (like the one in Lederhosen).
Some touching scenes today. Always a mixture of teen problems, romance and funny scenes in this boarding school. But I prefer the early seasons in fictious town Seelitz.

I have to check this the next episodes. Rating 4 for bib scenes for now.

Pic above is from s2e7, pic below from s1e1. Emily Schulman won a YoungArtist Award. She played the neighbor girl and kissing Jamie (Jerry Supiran). He doesn't look very happy.

This is one of the first entries I found almost 1 year ago, but didn't want to add it, because she is very young. I'm also not sure if she wore bibs in all seasons. I also saw a publicity pic with white shortalls.

I don't remember this complete movie and have or had it somewhere (partly) on VHS. IMDB says 2005 but she looks much younger than 14. Other sources say 2002. Maybe filmed or produced in 2002 (or even 2001) and released in 2005.

Also starring Braden Parkes, Thomas Garner and Graham Spillman. One Genesis Award. Directed by Richard Gabai.

Typical family movie (rated PG) with a gang of (detective) kids with action and comedy scenes, 3 boys 1 girl. (I have similar entries here).
I have to check this again (next broadcasting or if I find my tape). Trailer not on YouTube but other sites.

Thanks very much for this suggestion. I have seen some Power Rangers episodes or films long time ago, but not sure if Turbo.
This is the 5th series/season and there are at least 18 or 19 Power Ranger series + films. There's also a Turbo film "Turbo: A Power Ranger's Movie" (1997).

Very confusing and a lot to check. Unfortunately there are only some few parts on YouTube, or maybe more with a different title or abbreviation.
When I have more time I will maybe check some more later. There is also a thread on The Overalls Forum for those who like teen girls.
Foster was nominated for a Young Artist Award (for the movie).

I think rather few good scenes, so rating 6 for now only. I don't like those series, but bibs are good. Not sure if he wore a sweater over the bibs or if these are regular jeans.

Update: Also in Turbo this young woman. Not sure if this an overalls strap, but looks like. Don't know name or episode.

The haircut of Foster looks like a 1980s haircut for girls.

Unfortunately I don't know/don't remember this horror movie yet. Looks very interesting. Also starring Daria Nicolodi and John Steiner. Bava (1914-1980) did also other horror movies and this was one of his last films.

Film aka "Shock" and "Beyond the Door II". The first part is also called "Chi sei?" (1974) starring the same boy, then 4 yo. Both films are rated R.
