Picket Fences - s3e4

Next to the older black teen girl I had before in update 2 (had s3e5 but it's s3e4) front view, now rear view (and she's also sitting in class, last row, so often out of focus), I also found a thin, white teen girl sitting in the front row, so fully shown. Faded black bibs (2nd from left). At ~5 minutes. Also later standing.

The oversized/baggy bibs of the black girl are even better, but brief scene. Rating ~6.

On pic 2, Kimberly is on the right, She also wore black pants with suspenders. Plots of season 3 are up to now again very weak.

Update 2: The Enid Blyton Secret Series - rating 9

 

I searched for (new) DVD releases and found this and other Blyton series. I considered buying it but found new German YouTube uploads in excellent DVD quality (but widescreen, so cropped but all notable scenes completely shown), at least one of the 2 German versions are fullscreen. I still have to watch all episodes at regular speed. 

There are more very good scenes of Tom Pizey in very baggy bibs I didn't remember and maybe even missed before. So now rating 9 instead of 7. So one of the best non-US series. All scenes with him in bibs only in all 4 episodes of Die verwegenen Vier reißen aus (The Secret Island).

Episode 1: brief rear view while cleaning up the dishes without jacket pic 3 at 20 minutes, also front/headshot. At 21 climbing out of the windows (close up rear, being pushed by Laura). At 23 running downstairs (outside flat steps, pic 1) best scene of the series. Also Laura sitting and standing up in pink shortalls (at 2, also see  main entry). Shortalls are also quite baggy/oversized.

Episode 2: sitting in a boat (unpictured, I used to have a pic) sitting and standing up, and standing legs, cuffed up (with life vest)

Episode 3: standing, bibs even more baggy over his shoes (pic 2), also more walking scenes

Episode 4: (2nd best scene, see main entry) walking along a street, then also running front and rear. Cool macho style , American style. Also sitting, standing up from the heck of a truck. At 23 another good walking scene.

Pic 4 Laura sitting/standing up in white shortalls is from ep Die verwegenen Vier auf heißer Spur (The Secret Of Killimooin) part 1. Also quite baggy. Another pic standing here.

I also ordered a special book edition (film-script novelisation combined with the Enid Blyton magic with updated story lines, scenery and plenty of action), co-author Alice McCann. -- Update: No descriptions of bibs. Same dialogues like in the episode. No illustrations, no photos (except on the cover, tiny headshots on the back cover).

The plot and setting (NZ) is quite poor but bibs are perfect.

I found several books and vinly covers, mainly girls in bibs, but also some girls. Probably mainly of the 70s. Like the Famous Five 1978. Also good the Adventure series 1996 Girl rating 8). Most are rural/farm settings, but I wonder why there are girls in bibs as most novels were written in/around the 1930s. I have to do more research if there are more movies or notable books.

Update: I found a screenshot of Amazon streams showing him in bibs claiming to be ep 20 (ep 4/4 of Die Verwegenen Vier halten zusammen (Secret Mountain) but it's wrong and from Secret Island.

A blonde lady, probably Jenn Gotzon in tight faded, sleeveless coveralls (pic 2), also in pink non-jeans coveralls next to a horse in matching coveralls (story 147). Unpictured: At least an old man in blue bibs. And men and women in red coveralls (incl. Jenn Gotzon, Bridgette Cameron, Anthony Hackett, Leah Rose Fischer) in the dirt/muddy (with pigs). A boy in jeans sitting on hay.

I found this by searching for more movies from the cast of the Sugar Creek Gang (here starring Jeff Rose as well).

The girl is young. Rating ~3-4 for now. I only have checked this briefly. I think rather few (good scenes).

Story 147: Horse and lady in matching pink coveralls

I've seen monkeys in bibs but not horses. So this is something for a story post. This is from the 2020 movie The Farmer and the Belle: Saving Santaland (coming next). Jenn Gotzon pictured. There's also a young girl and old man in blue bibs and men and ladies in red coveralls.

Episode Die silberne Truhe (with another Fratz Fantom in purple bibs) is only partial on YouTube. On the facebook site of the movie (TomTurboDerFilm) I found a trailer for 3 episodes called "Tom Turbo - Wählt eure Wunschfolge bis 15. Oktober" showing another (brief) scene not included on YouTube and in better quality (pic 1).

Pic 2 is a 2013 screenshot also on that site. Schreck im Spielzeugschloss. Obviously not an episode title. Update: Indeed the episode title. 2 more pics in update 7. Maybe it's from ep Graf Drakulas Geheimbuch. See posts here and here. The girl is called Fanny (boy Lorenz). But here in a different shirt. Maybe from behind the scenes or maybe audition. Or another episode not on YouTube.

Pic 3 is from ep Das schwarze Tor. Even better the boy lying on the ice. Bibs are quite baggy. Several scenes but with an open jacket. I have only rechecked one clip 1/3. But this is obviously the best

Unpictured: dark pink short dress in ep 4. A man in black motorcycle coveralls.

I haven't seen the full series. Seems quite funny.

Rating ~4-5 for now.

Picket Fences - s2e20

I have now completely checked season 2. At the end of s2e20, Zach is sitting on the floor in his faded bibs. Mainly side view (also a bit more frontal), and headshot close-up front. Short scene. No more scenes in season 2 (next to s2e3).

Also very good and funny plot about the priest collecting ladies shoes and Matt (Justin Shenkarow, on left) has a bad conscience as well. Also good rear view of Matt walking in tight jeans (not bibs). There is only one ither, double episode with a very good (dramatic) plot s2e11+12 where Matt was shot by a boy. 2 peeing scenes, one standing at school's urinal (s2e11) and one sitting at home's bathroom with family present (s2e12). All other episodes are rather boring (some dramatic, though). Very few scenes of these (and other) kids.

I'm now checking the remaining 2 seasons which has confirmed and even better bibs scenes (as Zach is older). As there are many episodes and I'm watching at regular speed, this will take a while. Rating ~4-5 for this episode for bibs scene. Plot rating ~9.

-Comment: As announced this series. I have briefly checked some episodes and found rather few scenes. First I thought of Jule Hermann but it's Ella Lee sitting outside in long bibs  (pic 1 from ep 3, also good in ep 5, pic 2 maybe a summary of ep 4). Also a mid-aged lady in bibs and I think a young man (at least from a distance). I don't remember the episode. Also men and women in white protective forensic coveralls (ep 1+5).

Also a blonde lady (Martina Schöne-Radunski ?) in a faded bibs-like short dress with zipper (sleeveless/bra) in ep 5 (beginning, unpictured).

I don't like this series. Set (at least partially) in former Easter Germany, so maybe the 1980s.

For now rating ~3-4. I first had 3, but there might be some more scenes than assumed.
