–Comment: A least Violette Guillon in I think long, dark blue bibs, also sitting. On publicity pics, she also wore a different, light green/grey pair. A faded pair (maybe pic 1 ?) is a ripped-off, bibs-like dress (tagged as skirtalls).

I don't know the complete movie.

Books 103: Wilkins: Warts and All: Family Memories

At least one very interesting and funny description on page 36 about sons during the Great Depression who had bibs (hickory striped) and no underwear. Sometimes, buttons were missing and while playing there's something to see.

Some more bibs mentionings, but probably nothing more of interest.

Also some photos, at least one with young boys in front of a school. I found it by coincidence on Google Books.

I bought the previous book, but haven't read much, yet.

As announced, I've checked some more movies (see previous post, rating 7). I found a list but that was incomplete. So I have to do more research. Some movies are very short and some have other plots.

–Comment: Some boys at the beginning in an one-room schoolhouse in bibs, most notably one shirtless and I think barefooted, sitting, pressing hands on lap. In the middle of the movie, a younger boy in darker bibs outside. At the end a boy walking, front+rear view. Also men in bibs. Farm contents.

I found this by coincidence on YouTube. There are even much more movies in this series, which I have to check later.

Most documentaries have just photos, but this is a real movie. I like classics. And this kids are not actors but it's authentic.

Good bibs, but she's very small and looking even younger. And it's a short film.

Update 13: Sítio do Pica-Pau Amarelo

Pic 1 is from an unknown stage play. Youtube clip is called "emilia do sitio do pica pau amarelo". Pic 2 is again from a behind the scenes, same as in update 10, riding ("Todas as Chegadas do Pedrinho no Sitio... (2001-2007)".) Very good image quality and an additional backpack.
