Info 182: ads, spam, upcoming lists, tags, subpages, stats

Yesterday I noticed for the first time ads on my blog, while not logged in. Please note that I don't earn any money and wordpress occasionally place some ads themselves. I hope it's not too much. That's one of the disadvantages. I also still have some spam comments, about 5-10 every day on each blogs, but it could be worse and is not overgrowing.

Coming soon a list (with pics) of most baggy (and maybe also most tight) bibs. And maybe also the best farm movies.

I also planning a list of unusual colors (not including blue, black and brown bibs). Originally I wanted to create more tags (also for different countries), but that's too much work and also too buggy as many entries are not displayed. I also will add the lists to the females and boys subpages and add an "All list" button below the blog title to show a list of all lists. If someone searching for a country or else it's easy to do a blog search.

I also have enhanced my favourite boys stats pic from 5 to 10.

I had considered to change my rating system. Like a rating for the movie itself and a more balanced rating, especially for females (as I personally prefer males), but it would be too much work for 1000+ posts. Most females I rate with 4-6 and probably a 4 rating for me is a 10 rating for others who like that actress. It's always my personal rating. Please keep these things in mind. I usually don't buy many DVDs but I'm still looking for perfect films. I buy what I rate 7+. So I will make more lists and update them.

And I'm also considering a more enhanced Introduction /About page and/or an FAQ page, but I have to think about it.

I probably won't split up this blog (into males and females), it's too late now, I therefor have tags, list and subpages. Maybe I will create additional blogs (related or unrelated) at some time, but I'm busy enough with this one.

Just another movie from the dungarees movies blog. Thanks Felix. (Deadly Web, starring Gigi Rice and Andy Lawrence, both in bibs coming soon).

I like horror movies but I'm not sure about this docu drama. Looks like a poor movie. There are also other kids later in this movie, but probably not in bibs.

There is also a sequel "Return to Boggy Creek" (1977, rating 7) with 2 boys, man and teen girl in bibs which is probably much better (looks even like raw denim bibs of a teen girl at 23' 38'', coming soon). And also "Boggy Creek 2: The Legend Continues", but I only noticed men in bibs in the last one. Chuck Pierce Jr. also stars here.

I don't know / don't remember this movie and can't say much more about it (it's rated R). Bibs and actress are looking good. But maybe there are only few (good) bibs scenes (?) Usually I don't watch those movies. I prefer younger actors, farm movies and dark, raw denim bibs. But could be worse. Also low IMDb rating of 3.4. Obviously a typical thriller/drama.

Also starring Malcolm McDowell, Meredith Baxter and Meg Foster.

Rating 5 for now. I will check this the next broadcasting.

Info 181: Webfinds THW teens

Something different today. Some German teens of the THW (Technisches Hilfswerk, emergency services) boys/girls. Some in blue bibs, most in older grey cotton bibs and black boots. Nowadays they wear blue synthetic bibs or regular pants like firefighters. Grey bibs are mostly worn in the 90s, 80s and earlier (often with belts), but depends on the region. Occasionally some still wearing grey color.

There are websites of each region and youth division and some have vintage pics (also showing holiday pics like in swimwear, youth camps or competition pics.)

I just did a brief search today. I don't have the time for more research today, but have some more which I found some time ago. I like the grey heavy cotton bibs and boots. Sadly they changed color and fabric. Probably most have/had fun together.

Info 180: Update: Bloody Birthday (1981)

Thanks for this info/suggestion. I already had an entry, but "only" noticed few and short scenes of girls in there (rating 4).

Now there's also one of the main characters and killer kids ~ 11 or 12 yo Billy Jayne aka Billy Jacoby (pictured) in white bibs. I think near the end of the movie only. The white bibs seem to be of quite thin fabric and you can see the shirt line on his back through it. Maybe rather working/painting bibs. Could be better. I don't like white bibs nor dark haired boys wearing glasses, though he fits to this movie.

This is a perfect horror movie and I also like the 80s very much (though set in 1970). I think I would even buy this DVD but I think I will wait for the next broadcasting. It's also completely on the web on different sites but I don't like to watch movies online and now you have to sign in on YouTube as it's rated R.

Info 179: Update: Die Landärztin (2005)

This pic showing the 2008 ep. 5 "Ein neues Leben" of this German/Austrian TV film series about a rural female doctor (unpictured, see my other blog) .

Showing ~30 yo Judith Richter (sitting) and an older woman, maybe ~48 yo Saskia Vester (behind her) in a barn. Quite good farm scenes. The bibs of the younger woman are rare at the backside with simple suspenders (pictured in the main entry, also a headshot and also showing her rubber boots). Maybe someone likes this.

I only have recently seen just this 2 episodes, but Richter obviously ofter wearing these bibs. Not sure about other actors/actresses.

Pics showing 2008 ep. s2e7 "Der große Knall". There is also at least one young man in bibs in a different episode(s). Also some handsome boy actors (but I don't know of any in bibs nor Lederhosen). Blue bibs in ep "Mutterliebe" maybe a different younger blond woman. Maybe more episodes/actors/actresses in bibs? A fourth season will come in 2013.

Quite good series about a dark haired female vet (Elisabeth Lanz, probably not in bibs?) and her daughter, I think on the left. I only have seen some few episodes and can't remember them. English title "Zoo Doctor: My Mom the Vet". Also starring Sven Martinek, Michael Lesch, Ursela Monn, Hans-Peter Korff. A similar series is "Die Landärztin (2005)" (rating 4, updating soon, on both my blogs).

Rating 4 for now for bibs scenes. Series is a bit better but depends on the episode. Broadcasted on Sundays on SWR.

Thanks very much for this suggestion. It's a very rare movie and maybe I have even seen it (many years ago).

Elijah Wood is a very good actor and the bibs are also very good. But I have to watch the entire movie and hope for a soon broadcasting. Also starring Delta Burke, Carlin Glynn and Charles Shaughnessy. Aka Dayo. I wonder why movies with famous actors aren't available on DVD. I'm not sure if I would buy it. I prefer darker bibs and a bit older actors. But thanks again dbase1!

Maybe I have seen this movie long time ago, but I can't remember it, so I have to check this again completely. Looks like a quite good family movie, although I don't like Hulk Hogan and those action movies. Cycling scenes, not sure if in bibs as well. Also some good other kids actors (none in bibs known).

Also starring Matthew McCurley ("Little Giants"), Maurice Woods and Lesley-Anne Down. Rated PG and a very low IMDb rating. of 2.9.

I can't say much more yet. Bibs are OK.

From my rare movie list; pic taken from the dungareemovies blog. Thanks again Felix! (He rated 8.) Film aka "Pets to the Rescue", IMDb says (then) Pets (2002) probably the wide release. I think I even have seen this movie, but can't remember. Probably a good children's movie. Directed by David Lister "The Last Leprechaun" (girl in bibs, boy not in bibs, rating 3), written by famous Christopher Atkins ("The Blue Lagoon"). Looks like farm content. But maybe a typical animal movie.

I can't rate any higher than 5-6 for now unless I have seen and checked it completey. I prefer darker bibs. But could be worse. I think I wouldn't buy it.

Damn, I recently missed Disney's "Safety Patrol" (rating 7+), boys and girl in bibs and at least boys in thin orange coveralls.  I think I would buy this but I will wait for the next broadcasting (Not available on DVD anyway). No clips for both movies.
