–Comment: I think Japanese born Robyn Douglass in dark blue bibs, looks like raw denim bibs in s1e9 set on Earth. Also very good scenes of boys and girls playing Baseball (not in bibs).

This is a spin-off and I can't say much more as I haven't checked all episodes.

La pietra di Marco Polo

–Comment: At least Nicola Di Pol, about 7 yo in beige bibs. Also he and older boys and a women in dark blue aprons.

As announced this is my assumed "70s US washing machine" movie with the shirtless boy (see previous entry and my Lederhosen blog).

Unfortunatley it's not yet officially released on DVD. The setting (Venice) also looks like my unknown #9 movie (Italian coming of age film, late 80s or early 90s, outside stairs), but that scene doesn't fit in a family series and the boys, at least the brothers look different.

Also good bedroom scenes (soon on my other blog, rating around 7).

As the boy is very young rating 4-5 for his bibs, much more for the series. I haven't checked all episodes and hope for a broadcasting or DVD.

Info 433: Unknown US 70s movie found - also bibs

I just have found it. It's the Italian series La pietra di Marco Polo (1982). Also a young boy in beige bibs. Entry coming soon. More infos and pic on my Lederhosen blog.


Maybe I would have found it on other ways, as I still searching for another 1990s Italian coming of age movie (unknown #9, staircase scene, Lederhosen blog)

–Comment: 15 yo Denise Miller as 13 yo Jessie (or filmed earlier ?) in blue bibs (bib at quite low position) and at least one older teen boy (I hope it's a boy) in light blue bibs. Also other 70s clothes like sports shorts (at least Rex Smith in tight dark blue Adidas shorts).

I don't know the complete movie and found it by coincidence.

Pic 1 is from a slideshow clip, seems quite long this teaching scene (different angles). Pic 2 is from a theme song clip. Looks like a supporting actor. Maybe there are more actors in bibs?

I don't like the 70s, but these bibs look like the regular style. 1979 is almost 80s. But somehow I assume few good scenes.

So rating 4-5 for now only.

Has been aired one week ago. Few and short scenes. She's pregnant with an octopus baby.

Shirtless is good but not much to see. Khaki is even better, I remember also side view, but from a distance and nothing much to see either.

So rating 2-3 only.

–Comment: Vladimir Skultéty in light blue bibs (he looks younger than 15 to me, maybe filmed earlier) and a darkhaired, I think overweighted girl (and there should be other girls as well) in shorter (7/8th) light blue bibs. Also other "interesting scenes" (boys shower and taking a sauna) and good dorm views of this sanatorium, looking more like the 50s or 60s.

Some episodes are missing on YouTube and I only noticed few and very brief scenes. No complete view of the boy's bibs. Pic 1 from ep 3, pic 2 from ep 1.

For the bibs scenes I can only give rating 4-5 for now. Movie maybe rating 5-6. I prefer US movies, farm settings, dark bibs etc.

–Comment: Michaela Dvoráková as Aneta in light blue shortalls, also cycling in them (ep 4). Pics are from ep 3. But rather few and short scenes with her in shortalls. And I haven't found anybody else in bibs.

Berore I post the recent suggestion, another very interesting Czechoslovakian series (boy+girl in bibs) I post this one, a YouTube recommendation for that.

Although I usually don't like shortalls, and these simple straps on the back, she's very handsome. There's also a redhaired, older teen boy (Krystof, but not in bibs).

Rating 6-7, but for the brief scenes just rating 6.

Info 431: Justin Henry in Double Negative

Does anybody know this short film? Probably no bibs, but I want to know how he looks like in here and what is he wearing. I haven't seen any clips or even pics. Available on the UK BD of The Fury (Brian De Palma, 1978).

Other movies and series with him are not officially on DVD like "Fantasy Island", "Martin's Day" and "Danger Bay". Of "Martin's Day" (also 1985 like Double Negative), I have seen some pics and there's a VHS and DVDr. There's at least an old man in bibs.

I assume few or very few scenes of Justin in the 18 minutes short film. Disney's 1983 "Tiger Town" aka "Super-Cup" is also a good 80s movie and available on YouTube. In "Sixteen Candles" he is very good and I own the DVD (a girl and old teen boy in bibs, rating 2).

Who can help with pics or more infos about Double Negative?

Update: I now have seen it. He's wearing a dark suit and is only shown some few seconds. Obviously filmed earlier. Around 1980?

The Waltons – Season 2 - update #2

Some more interesting scenes of The Waltons - season 2, now Jim-Bob and Jason. Most or all scenes I have mentioned before (but mainly just the time positions and no pics).

Pic 1+3 are from s2e2 starting at DVD position 1h26. Jim-Bob helps granny with cooking and wearing light blue bibs and an apron. Jason and Ben bullying him and said he's a girl. A bit later pic 1. Jason leaning against a post, hands in pockets. (Another good, unusual body position, see other story entries in season 1).

Pic 2 showing Jason sitting barefoot in a chair on the porch in s2e4 at 2h46. John-Boy hitting one of Jason's bare feet, clapping it with a hand (for fun?). Not exactly sure why. Just to tease him? Or to take his leg down. I wonder if he liked it and how many takes they did.

Jason is very often barefoot (in early seasons) And his feet can't be clean but dirty and dusty walking on the ground.
