Krenten (1989 ? commercial)

Another one from my personal VHS recordings. Dutch commercial about currant buns (krentenbollen). No brand of the buns? General bakery commercial ? 1989 or later (1992)? 

I think I recall also other ads with him and assumed lost fingers but not in bibs? Maybe the name of the boy is known? Can anybody help? I later found this clip in very poor quality 240p, but no descriptions.

I think few/very few good scenes, fast action. Also at least grown-ups in white protective coveralls.

There are some (better) publicity pics on her IMDb page being older in tight stone washed bibs.

Mickey's Northwest Mounted (Mickey McGuire) Rodeo ?

 

I found 2 versions, both in very poor quality. Pic 1, 10'30 from "ATLAS FILMS PRESENTS: Mickey McGuire in "Rodeo"" (ca 1927). Pic 2, shorter, watermarked version from "Mickey McGuire Rodeo, 1920's - Film 17309" (HuntleyFilmArchives). There are some boys in bibs including sitting.

I haven't found any info about a movie called Rodeo. Both claimed it's a film called Rodeo. I think this is Mickey's Northwest Mounted (1929). Stinky invites, rodeo, goat. That should be 20 minutes (according Wikipedia) if complete. 2 reels, silent. Rating ~4-5 for now.

I still hope for remastered releases.

Bibs are OK. Girl is also not (looking) that young. But there are many partial views/headshots. Best maybe at the beginning in jail (but view through bars). Lying on her stomach and good rear views. Later one rear view walking, mainly distance. One or 2 sitting scenes but through bars and later with a teddy bear on her lap. And very few full front views.

So again only rating 4-(5). I don't like long hair. Movie itself probably higher.

Info 2: Gli anni d'oro - actors

 

After finding an earlier 1984 movie with Elena Atanasova, I've checked again Yan Bibiyan (1/1985) starring an Georgi Lazarov. Great fantasy film. At the end are some better scenes of the kids. I assume the boy in pic 1 to be the same Georgi/George as in Gli anni d'oro. He was born around 1977. Almost all other boys in Yan Bibiyan are too old. There's one younger boy in a sailor suit (soon on my other blog) but I think he's too young, maybe 4-5 yo. Shooting of Gli anni d'oro (1992) started in 1989-1991 (or was it 1988).

Searching again for Georgi Lazarov (Георги Лазаров) especially in Plovdiv, Bulgaria (Пловдив) I might have found him on insta (g.lazarov). Pic 2 on right from 2023 compared with him in ep 5.

I'm not 100% sure if it's him but I do think so. He has quite few posts, 68 followers,  usually posting 1 pic a year. Mainly vacation pics (Spain, Greece, Hungary and Austria). He likes cars and has a wife and young daughter (might be the same as I found before). However no signs of his job or being an actor on insta. I still haven't found movie Bo Nan Za. But I doubt that he was recently an actor.

Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei - s4e8

One of the suggestions from Marc. Thanks very much! I first had trouble finding any scene. I think very few (good) scenes. First scene starting at 31, renovating in bibs. Mainly partial scenes. Best the rear view. Later after being kidnapped, some more scenes, but gagged and mainly or only headshots. At the end mostly hidden. I haven't noticed full views, nor sitting scenes. Maybe I missed some?

I'm still searching for more about Gli anni d'oro (1992) boy, man, woman rating 7. During research for more about the actors, I found by coincidence this one. First movie of Elena Atanasova (girl Marina with glasses in Gli anni d'oro). Director was Svetozar Atanasova (Светослав Атанасов) 1910-1991, her dad. She currently mainly playing theatre in Sofia, previously in Plovdiv.

Bulgarian title: Битката за река Бяла Сълзлийка. What means The Battle of White Tear River. (River Sălzliika).

Plot is about a river polluted by a factory. No entry on IMDb.

Pic is from a stream I just found on videa.hu. Title Битката за Бяла Сълзлийка (1984) - втора серия. This is for part 2. Part 3 is трета. Part 1 is първа.

Checking some playlists on where my most successfull (non-bibs) clips are, I found some 2h compilations of some episodes on the official channel. This is called Scared Stiff, starting with s1e12. But these girls are later in another episode. Both in shortalls. Pic 1 Laura Bertram in black shortalls at 1h25, pic 2 at 1h30, I think both pics from s1e3. Also a mirror scene.

I previously had a boy (rating 8) and teen girls.

I still have to recheck them all.

I recently found this on TV on German comedy show "quer". A girl sitting on the floor in pink bibs. Milton Bradley.

Also should have been aired in the UK in 1986.

As usual brief scene and partial hidden by a table.

Another boy, Patrick maybe ~8 yo (later performing as Jason Donovan Hang On to Your Love). Faded bibs with a belt. I think ep 25, aired Dec 1991 (season 2), here obviously a rebroadcast. 

Image quality is very poor 240p (both available clips, probably same source). These introduction scenes are quite short. Here 3 minutes. One brief rear view. As Jason Dovan I think in regular dark jeans.

I uploaded several clips, but none with bibs. Found by coincidence/during research for dates of mine.

After finding Der grüne Berg (1990 set in the late 80s, at least a boy probably in bibs rating 3), also part of the DVD trilogy Fredi M. Murer - Die Berg-Trilogie, I found this. The 3rd one is a feature film "Höhenfeuer". He also did Vitus in 2006.

I don't know the full movie. Kids in the trailer are very young.

Rating ~2-3 for now. Documentary might be interesting though. Remastered in 2015 (and or 2025). Swiss title: Wir Bergler in den Bergen sind eigentlich nicht schuld, dass wir da sind.

Dream #20: Taran Noah Smith (fictional series) rear view

 

Another short dream fragment. In the dream I'm watching a movie or series on a monitor showing Taran Noah Smith, around 15 or 16yo ("Home Improvement", here from season 5 bloopers) standing rear view. Great rear view, stone washed rather dark and he's quite thin. Maybe similar like Kyle Eastwood in Honkytonk Man (new pic 2). Or Cody Brown in Sugar Creek Gang (here my favourite rear view in film 4). Or Bell Book & Candle. Maybe influenced and mixed up by recent post Mlle Bottine (pic 3). 

There were some more boys shown in the dream (maybe Brad and Randy, but not in bibs). I recognized Taran, although (I recall) just the rear view. 

There were 2 other scenes in this dream not involving bibs like me about to answer the same question on 2 different social media, but decided to not answer the second one to stay anonymous. And playing an RPG outside on a tablet.

Conclusion: 

As usual all locations (and devices) in the dream are new. I recently saw Taran in Little Bigfoot 2. And I saw parts of a late episode of Home Impreovent on VHS (but I think Brad only). Pic 1 showing Taran in season 5 bloopers for identification. Maybe rather like in season 6 or 7.

I still have to search for better rear views for this and the previous dream, maybe also of (teen) girls and non-movie pics for better identification. Good rear views of teens are quite rare.

Rating 4-5. I don't like much this actress. I haven't seen the full movie. But I give rating 5.

ClassicFlix has some more uploads, some even complete, but most only for members. Very early clips in great, remastered quality. This was the 2nd talkie. There are 2 men, also sitting. I think one in brand Lee. I haven't this movie before as there are only men.

Also Joe Cobb in bibs in Small Talk (1929), but I already had a quite good quality.

I'm still waiting for restoration of Mickey McGuire movies (rating up to 7) started in 2022. I only found one remastered clip, 3 min. Mickey's Great Idea (1929) was used as Bonus on Little Rascals. I earlier found some movies elsewhere and now another one but in very poor quality.

They changed clothes in the bus but it's not shown but presented after. She is also asked about the style. Other episodes are about schools in different early and very early times back to 1689.

Another one from Felix. Thanks very much! He has 498 pics. Episode is 28 minutes. Availabe on svtplay (works within Germany). I have checked some parts.

Great pair/brand. I don't like much shortalls. But good sitting scenes (few) and good rear views. Interesting experiment, but the fashion is not that outdated.

–Comment: I think 3 boys sitting and standing in a one-room schoolhouse. One or 2 pairs might be raw denim. Youngest boy definitely not. Obviously mainly 1 scene of interest at 9-14. One other scene of one boy (Xavier Bielinski as younger 10 yo brother Emmeret) outside with open jacket at the end (1h22).

Nice, especially some sitting scenes (side view, distance) but no good close-up.

I have checked the scenes on Daily (fixed Arabian subtitles). I think there's also a man in bibs with open jacket. Maybe more scenes with closed jackets? But if so then not much of interest.

Unfortunatley few scenes and just 2 older boys. Actors are also not that nice. Hard to rate.

Rating ~5-6. I give 6 as I like raw denim and one-room schools. Movie itself not much higher. Maybe I have to re-watch it. Set in North Dakota, based on true events. There are different novelizations from different authors and guides. Maybe also have to be checked. I haven't found an earlier novel.

There's also a boy at 8h25 sitting and standing up, but I think in regular baggy jeans. Maybe I missed some scenes. I haven't checked all the 11 hours. I have some few parts of a short haired teen girl Billie on VHS (not in bibs).

Probably very few (good) scenes. Rating 3-4. Series a bit higher. Image quality of the clip is quite poor.
