–Comment: Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn and Joe Harper all barefooted, 2 of them in bibs including sitting. One in light blue, one in dark blue, the latter ones quite baggy. Not sure who is who, probably Tom in the middle and maybe Huck on the left? Not sure about the state and name of school. On YouTube called "Tom Sawyer: Island Scene-2010 "Lazin' Down The River" by froboythestud. 11 minutes.

Quite interesting but there are better movies and stage plays.

Currently  running on Kika, but I've never seen it and found during research.

Rating 3-4 for now only. I assume rather few bibs scenes. But the series is still running.

There are also some other, related series (at least girls in dresses and beige aprons).

I think I have seen a preview with wet scenes. Confirmed, again saw this, being in a lake. Unknown episode. Maybe one of the first?

–Comment: At least 19 yo Jennifer Lawrence as 17 yo Ree I think in grey camouflage bibs but under a jacket at around 6 minutes. Now on German's channel One. Also a man in dark green coveralls.

Maybe I was wrong and they're just regular camouflage pants and a T-shirt with a similar pattern. I found a pic of regular pants. But interesting movie. And very handsome boy (but not in bibs).

And another Dutch family series. Unfortunately also not on DVD. Awarded series was rebroadcasted online on Z@ppelin in 2002 but nothing more left than an intro.

For the girl rating ~3-4. But probably even better are the blue bibs of the girl and boy. Not all are handsome. Filmed in 1980 (?) but looking and described as late 70s. Maybe filmed earlier?

So rating 4-5.

Book 66: Ben Logan: The Land Remembers

Today, I searched for one-room schoolhouses. I previously found (next to the well known movies and series like LHOTP) pics and books (even describing the smell of new overalls). By coincidence, I stumbled upon this 1975 autobiography by Wisconsin born Ben Logan who died in 2014.

On the snippet view on Google Books is a nice discription of the sound of the stiff pant legs, when a boy walked to the blackboard in new bibs. 3 boys (brothers) depictured in bibs on the cover (of some editions).

Although there's obviously only this one direct mentioning, I ordered this book. (Will take some time to arrive and to read).

I have just finished a Western book featuring a blonde boy, but no bibs mentionings. Currently, I'm re-reading the Sheriff Ben "Danny" books.

Update: I mainly read the chapter about the school. Also about the smell of "new clothes" and "soap".

Update 2: I have read half of it. A bit disappointing. Not that bad, but it's mainly about farm stuff and philosophy.

Update 3: Completely read. Quite poor, reminds me of "Farmer Boy" by Laura Ingalls Wilder and other books describing the seasons and general work on a farm, often starting with winter.
