Update: Flußfahrt mit Huhn

I have checked some more movies completely (at high speed) including this one to update my tiny pics and find more scenes.

A bit more scenes than assumed, but mainly at the beginning and mainly of the girl. Nice, tight hickory striped bibs, also sitting.

The boy wears medium blue short shortalls and maybe looking a bit older here, but is ~6 yo. Another updated, larger pic pf him in the main entry, still rating 4-(5).

The boy is too young and I don't like hickory stripes and this girl. The movie is also an average adventure/family film.

Love's Abiding Joy

Christian TV drama/Western. Novel by Janette Oke
–Year: 2006
–Year in film: ~1880s ?
–Country: USA
–Who in bibs: boys ~6, 11
–Available on DVD: yes
–I own: yes, partly TV recording
–Bib occurrence: low-
–Rating: 5/10
–Rating: *****
–Comment: I think 3 boys in cotton bibs, but very few and brief scenes.

As announced, this movie, which had been aired the next day. But I missed the beginning. One boy at school sitting in brown bibs at 9 minutes (pic 2) and at the end 2 very brief scenes of 2 blonde boys, one very young boy in dark brown bibs, one older boy next to him. 1st stealing food then dancing. The older boy is handsome and wears dark blue bibs (?) but is very briefly shown close up and from a distance.

2 more boys than first noticed, but very brief scenes. One 9 yo boy is Thomas Stanley, maybe in pic 2?

So instead of rating 6 only 4-5.

Part of the Love Comes Softly movie series directed by Michael Landon Jr..

Grand Champion (2002)

Family film
–Year: 2002
–Year in film: 2000s
–Country: USA
–Who in bibs: Sister ~10, Hallie ~34
–Available on DVD: yes
–I own: no
–Bib occurrence: low
–Rating: 5/10 ?
–Rating: *****
–Comment: At least Emma Roberts and a young lady, I think Joey Lauren Adams in beige bibs. A short dancing scene at the beginning (both) and later some more scenes of the lady (sleeveless shirt). Also starring Julia Roberts (aunt of Emma).

Also on my Western blog, rating 6. And soon on my bedroom blog, rating ~4.

Obviously a typical ranch/rodeo movie. Rather few and short scenes. The boy in jeans is also of interest. Riding scenes but I think not in bibs.

Rating 4-5 only.

Update: The Edison Twins

Thanks for this suggestion, but I already had an entry, at least with 9 yo Matthew White and another teen boy.

Sunny Besen Thrasher also in bibs in season 5 (s5e1). Unfortunately in very bad image quality and I think few scenes and also wearig a jacket.

Main entry, still rating 5

Amazing Grace and Chuck

Drama starring Gregory Peck
–Year: 1987
–Year in film: 1980s
–Country: USA
–Who in bibs: Carolyn ~6 ?
–Available on DVD: yes
–I own: yes
–Bib occurence: low+
–Rating: 3/10
–Rating: ***
–Comment: Courtney Kutner, around 5 or 6 yo in blue bibs at the beginning, later in pink bibs (also sitting) and at the end in white shortalls (being lifted up by her brother). But in total rather few scenes and she's very young.

Also 3 men in fishing bibs (2 very briefly and from a distance) and Joshua Zuelke in olive fishing pants (no bib) and mainly side view and also shirtless.

I recently even bought the DVD (but for other reasons). I like the boy actor and there are some good scenes of boys in white Baseball pants. I remember having seen it in the late 80s on TV. But the movie itself is quite boring and I was a bit disappointed.

The Spanish DVD I bought is widescreen RC2 and has English audio. The image quality is not perfect but better then a VHS.

Rating 2-3 for the young girl. Movie rating ~(5)-6.

Klimbim

Slapstick comedy series
–Year: 1973-1979
–Year in film: 1970s
–Country: Germany
–Who in bibs: Gabi ~25, man
–Available on DVD: yes
–I own: no
–Bib occurence: medium-
–Rating: 3/10
–Rating: ***
–Comment: Ingrid Steeger (25 yo in episode 1) as child Gabi in light brown bibs (soft cotton and not corduroy?, stap fixed with buttons ) with a baby bib in the Klimbim Familie sketches, also sitting. Also at least one old man (craftsman) in dark blue bibs. Pic 1 from ep 20, pic 2 from ep 14.

I don't remember all episodes. Maybe more actors/actresses in the show as well? Ingrid Steeger wore mainly a long dress when not playing Gabi.

Very good and the first German comedy series. My favourite actor was Peer Augustinski.

I don't like her as the annoying baby character.

For bibs ratig 2-3 only. Series itself rating 7-8.

Update: La baleine blanche

I found some brief clips on my older PC. As said, this is a very brief scene. I haven't checked my VHS tapes, yet.

An older teen boy or young man, one strap loose, barefooted. Maybe brother of the other blonde boy?

I think this is from an early episode, maybe even ep 1 or 2 but not sure. I also can now confirm that this is from this series.

I don't know the complete series, so it's possible that there are more scenes or even more persons in bibs. But probably few or very scenes, if any.

Young Hearts Unlimited

Family film starring Andrew Lawrence
–Year: 1998
–Year in film: 1990s
–Country: USA
–Who in bibs: Mindy ~12 ?, woman
–Available on DVD: yes
–I own: no
–Bib occurrence: medium- ?
–Rating: 5/10 ?
–Rating: *****
–Comment: At least Molly Hager, maybe around 11 or 12 yo, in light blue bibs also sitting. I think pic 2 showing a different, older (supporting) actress. Both pics from the trailer.

I don't know/don't remember the complete movie. Maybe I have seen it long time ago.

So I can't say much more, yet and needs to be rechecked.

Not bad, rating 5-6 for now.
