Info 395: Google image and blog search

Sometimes I try a Google image search. When you enter bib overalls film (without " and with the default settings you get pics all from my blog except for some very few others. The interesting thing is the search result order. I searched on July 17 (pic 1) and today (pic 2). The search algorithm is of course secret but do they really display the most interesting (compostions) of a pic? Some results are no wonder. Like my header or top pics. But others are.

Pic 1 also showing 1 recent entry on the lower right and I thought they mix with newer entries but pic 2 don't have any. Slightly different search results and they might differ from the user's country, hard- and software.

I don't link to pics anymore as I don't have high res pics and I don't want pics to appear on the top click links. Most pics look like older pics where I leave the links, coming from my old blog.

At least Google now showing my actual wordpress blog on top instead of the old Google's blogspot blog. Google's search results are often poor and showing many unrelated stuff.You have to be creative for the search term and use advanced options and "".

The blog search here luckily works much better than on my old Google blog. Remember that you can combine tags or in my case categories described here.

As I prefer males and if someone searching for best or specific female entries it's maybe easier as my blog is still growing. I rarely update my "pages" like boys and females.

Update: Le maître d’école (1981)

I have now checked almost the complete movie. Many school scenes and even some more kids in bibs, around 2 more boys and 4 girls, but few good scenes. Either headshots (in class), fast movements or far in the distance or all of them. I already had the best scenes. So rating 5 is correct.

They never changed their clothes (except for the trip and indoor pool scenes near the end). Some other quite good scenes like kids in speedos and shiny shorts. But nothing special. Also tight jeans and underwear changing scene (boy, 52 min).

There are 3 main locations: in class, outside the school and the canteen.

Pic 1 showing a girl in light blue bibs and a boy in even lighter bibs (behind the teacher, same as in pic 4). Scene at 29 minutes.

Pic 2 at 1h22 showing both kids from the main entry showing that they wear bibs in full length. Also the rear view of the boy (far left) but brief scene. He is also shown outside the school but moving fast and in the distance.

Pic 3 another boy in dark blue bibs at the end. Pic 4 also at the end. Unpictured a girl in bright red bibs and maybe one or 2 more in shorter bibs or shortalls but in the distance as well. I wonder how is it possible to show so few good and more close up scenes? I like the 80s but there are much better movies.

Story 98: very small bib and at low position

I found this comedy movie called "Scuola di ladri" showing an older man in short non-jeans shortalls on a beach. Looks ridiculous but fits to the actual weather. Obviously the working clothes of this salesman. Also 3 men in regular blue bibs. Maybe also other interesting scenes. There's also a sequel. Rating 1 for this scene (at 54 minutes).

I don't like bibs or shortalls appearing way too small or tight. No real overalls. They could wear shorts or Lederhosen instead. I don't remember much kids in those bibs. I only remember one Russian boy in bibs like that but probably rating 2.

I like just the opposite. Very high position and large bib. Or oversized and baggy.

–Comment: At least this boy in blue non-jeans working bibs and a sleeveless white shirt at a building site. I only noticed one longer scene at 1h12. Not sure about his name. Probably not the main character. Backside simple suspenders only. Bibs getting wet (and muddy), I think due to rain.

French title "Ras le bol". Directed by Antonio-Pedro Vasconcelos.

The movie seems quite boring. I only have checked it partly and at high speed. Handsome boy and good haircut.

Rating 4-5 for now.

–Comment: At least this girl, probably Constanze Berndt in red bibs. Kids are 12 yo, other sources say 11. Probably filmed when being 11 (or 12 yo in the novel). They also fall in the water.

I thought I already had this entry. But must be a different East German DEFA movie.

I'm sure I have seen it and might have a VHS recording but I don't remember the complete movie.

Famous film by Rolf Losansky and novel by Klaus Meyer. I think it's a good movie and good Northern setting.

But I prefer blue bibs and ranch setting. I don't like her hair.

Rating 4-5 for now. To be rechecked the next broadcasting.

Father Is a Bachelor - colorized

The movie isn't available colorized, but I have colorized this pic according to a (colorized) lobby card. The bibs might be even lighter in color (more faded) and more purplish.

As it's a western setting it could be compared to bibs in movies or series like LHOTP. Most bibs are beige in westerns but some are blue, mostly very worn and faded light blue.

Hopefully this and other movies will be colorized like other westerns and classics.

With contrastful colors you can better see the different height of their bib. Much lower position on the right.

I think Bella Garcia I have seen in black (?) bibs, one strap loose (at least in an announcement clip). Sorry, I haven't any pics. She's part of the jury of this casting show. Starting on Aug 17 on German RTL II.

I don't watch these shows anymore.

Space: 1999 - s1e24

33 yo Caroline Mortimer (in the middle) in tight black leather coveralls and a belt in today's episode The Last Enemy, s1e24, last episode of season 1. Several scenes front+rear view.

Usually I don't post coveralls. But probably most readers will like it and I previously have an entry of this series (blue snow bibs f/m, rating 2).

More than around 5 or 6 yo. So maybe his birth date or the film release isn't correct? Can a 2 yo use a telephone and holding a gun? Also a blond lady in a blue dress.

Sorry, I can't say much more about this movie. I can't remember having watched this movie.

Usually I don't post toddlers in bibs. I assume few scenes in bibs.

So rating 3 for now only.
