Has been aired yesterday, but I only saw the beginning. I assume few scenes mainly or only at the beginning. 

Rating 4-5 for now. Needs to be rechecked. I don't recall if there were sitting scenes or (notable) rear views.

Dream #18: Jeffrey Walker in baggy bibs in fictional sitcom

Background: I haven't seen pics or clips of Jeffrey Walker or Huck & the King of Hearts (rating 8, pic 2) for many months. Yesterday evening, I found a young boy in bibs on TV (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, coming next) but he's much younger and black. I found 2 movies on my VHS. One lady in Die Froschintrige (no rear view) and Frog and Wombat, latter one might have influenced the girls in this dream. 

Probably the many pics from Felix influenced the bibs of Jeffrey Walker. The only rear view (next to Night of the Reaper (2025) with a young boy) I recently downloaded and like is from Bell Book and Candle (1998) pic 3, matching color. Posts coming soon. Pic 1 from The Wayne Manifesto (1996). 

Dream:

I live with my dad. The rooms are all in a line. I'm first in a living room on the west. The TV is on the west/NW. I first watched a non-bibs US series but I had the wrong channel, showing a much later season with a boy actor ca 10-11 yo being a man with beard. Previously and later I switched back seeing the boy, maybe flashback scene. Maybe I missed the bibs scenes.

Later I am in the eastern or middle section with the TV on the right. I'm watching a series or sitcom, first showing girls. I'm leaving the room at least once to fetch some food for dinner. I then saw Jeffrey Walker on TV standing in a small room (kitchen) rear view in very baggy bibs like Chauncey Leopardi. But older, ca 14 yo and the fabric is more worn (at the butt). Rear views, shape and actor also reminds me of Robbers, Rooftops and Witches, rating 10 but baggy. I have to reseach for matching pics and maybe photoshop it. He also walked and when turning around the bibs are more faded than stone washed.

In the movie I know the series and just noted the time which was 15 minutes to later capture it for my blog, like in real life.

Conclusion:

As usual new locations. This time I recognize the actor. I'm sure that this sitcom does not exist and everything is mixed up including rooms and bibs on front. Maybe the conclusion is, that I should watch more TV and not leaving the room that often. The fictional scene I would rate at least 9 although I don't like curls.

-Comment: Beate Jensen (*1958, younger looking) as main character, trainee teacher in faded bibs with a belt. Extremely rare. From my VHS collection. I don't have the complete movie just some very brief scenes, uploaded in 3 clips (1 to come). Also older men in working bibs.

Based on 1987 novel Froschkonzert by Erich Loest. Plot/key scene is about a pupil falling in love with her and swallowing a frog. Clip 2 only headshots of her and the boy. Clip 3, around 5 seconds not captured yet, probably not having bibs. As I don't know the movie, I don't know the amount of scenes or maybe other actors. 

Rating ~5-6 for the bibs scenes. Movie probably higher. Title according movie itself and Wikipedia Die Frisch-Intrige. First shown/recorded on German TV in 1991.

I have finished checking all 16 seasons (221 ep). Only very few bibs scenes in later seasons. One young man, maybe in his late 20s in dark green working bibs in several episodes in season 15 and I think 14 and 16. Like in s15e3 at 25. No need for a pic. Also a lady in s14e1, 2 different shirts (or ladies) as pictured. Main post here.

Update: Zane Grey Theatre (s5e3)

 

Finally! After 8 1/2 years I found clips showing bibs. Including riding scenes (front and rear). Robert aka Bobby Crawford but not in s5e13 (from my rare movies list) but here in s5e3. One has several quite new uploads of season 5 and others, but still missing s5e13. According IMDb he only starred in s5e3. So probably this was a mistake.

Riding front rather few and brief scenes and some from a distance and on horse rear view partial, but also descending the horse and quite good walking scenes (including walking with a stoop).

Previously, I had a pic from him not in bibs from another show, The Rifleman, next to his brother Johnny. I don't know any of them in bibs elsewhere.

Gary Bestla *Oct. 1992 in olive fishing bibs in s12e8 (aired Feb 2007, so around 13 yo but still younger looking). He starred in seasons 9-13. I think 2 brief scenes, poor front views (another one partial/headshot but better rear views.

Rating ~4 for this. Still many episodes to check. Seasons 13-16 still unchecked.

Also same teen boy as in s8e7 (rating 3) and 2 men in beige bibs in s11e10.

Search for "grey".

At the intro of season 8 there is a young girl (Leonie Benice Baeßler, *1993) who might wore bibs under pullover and jacket. Men in orange/red coveralls (lifesaver ?) in s8e7.

Great, but I think very few scenes. I haven't checked all episodes, roughly 4 episodes. At least another lady (or maybe the same, lady on right looks like mom Andrea Shroder) in dark bibs at the beginning of ep 1, pic 2.

Sweden Channel 5 trailer 1999

The first clip I found on the mentioned blog Nostalgorama (School books).

At a closer look the kid with the red sweater obviously wearing tight bibs and is maybe the same as in the previous b&w pic. Here it looks maybe like a boy. There must be another scene of him in a yellow shirt sitting on a sofa. Obviously a very brief scene later. I checked this roughly several times but haven't found it. Pic linked above.

Books 147: School books / videos

 

During research for a recent Swedish clip, I found an interesting blogspot blog called Nostalgorama. He/she has many embeddings from Swedish clips including that from Introkungarna, but also others. Maybe he/she is one of them. I still haven't checked them all, posts 2013-2025. The site needs much time and memory for clips to be loaded. 

Pic 1 is from book Gena, later called Nya Gena. Gena is short for geografi och naturkunskap, so geography. The book pictured is Nya Gena 1 Studiobok B from 1982. Maybe a girl. Publisher Natur & Kultur (Natur och kultur) previously Pilot Oä. Book series since 1972 (or 1970). There is a nice color cover boy/girls but not in bibs (update, probably one wore bibs, maybe the same here, might be a boy). Maybe there are some more good pics inside? I haven't found (full) scans/PDFs.

Pic 2 is from different ELT books, I found myself. Top left Beehive American 4 (Oxford University), top right Link It 2e 1, Student book page 1, bottom Lighthouse Advanced Level 3 (Cornelsen). All courses have videos. But not sure if they have all of them pictured. Top right very likely.  

I was sure that the Lighthouse Video DVDs would be published in June 2026. But this DVD (white cover) should have been already released in June 2024. I confound this with the main series access (books with digital media, probably same clips) which will indeed be released in 2026. I had very good experiences with earlier editions of Lighthouse/access (Levels 1+2), expecially on my ELT blog. I also have here and there other ELT courses linked above f/m rating up to 6. Another good one with confirmed clip, sitting teen girl, coming soon.

-Comment: One young lady (not sure about her name, probably not Toni Pearen) in I think black bibs and sleeveless top. I noticed 3 or 4 brief scenes. One at the beginning sitting in a car (headshot), scene pictured bad lit a bit later.

At 12 sitting on a bed, side view and standing up. And at the very end standing from a far distance.

Also nice a young boy in regular jeans.

I found the end on one of my VHS. Luckily, I had the name of the director, otherwise I wouldn't have the title. 

Bibs and actress and plot aren't that bad. But due to the quality of the bibs scenes rating ~4 only. Movie itself ~5-6.

She appeared in seasons 1-6. I only found very few clips, none in bibs. Pic from a compilation (uploader ihrfan), I think from this series.

Also at least an old man in green working bibs in ep 68 (s8e2). 

Looks interesting and maybe there are more in bibs. Series is a spin-off of Unser Charly. She also appeared there in s7e0 as same character.

Rating ~6 for now.  

Update: Jauche und Levkojen (Nirgendwo ist Poenichen)

Searching for another unknown upload of mine (turned out to be Mrs. Harris 1982-1991 with a boy in speedos), I found another nice YouTube channel (Rita Hansen) mainly having German and UK DVDs. This is Nirgendwo ist Poenichen, which is season 2 of saga Jauche und Levkojen. Pic again from ep 2 Zum Eyckel, set in 1945. Also in at least one other episode (ep 1). There also shirtless with open bib at least rear view at a lake or similar.

Also a man (open jacket) in ep 14 set later, 50s or 60s. I haven't checked the full series.

At least 2 other series with girls (Die glückliche Familie) and Follyfoot Farm, coming soon.

I also found the first boy in Unser Charly, but a toddler in s6e13 (sitting in faded bibs, no need for a pic). Also the teen girl in another pair and older men and lady. Coming soon. Also a young lady in a related series or spin-off.
