-Comment: Ruby Jones (pic 1, exact age unknown, maybe 9 or 10) in stone washed blue bibs, one of her film brothers (Ethan Hunt ? around 10) and some boys at school (around 4 boys, inside and outside) in different bibs.

The first suggestion from Felix I have checked an that's a very good movie. db1 suggested this movie one day later (along one other, Felix didn't). I have checked the movie (many parts throughout the complete film).

The movie ist set in 1931 California during the Great Depression, but also have some few Western scenes (some boys (also riding) and girls, entry soon on my Western blog, rating 4). Also ranch scenes (barn, hay, but few or none bibs related, at least no farm work). About 3 good scenes at school (at 17, 35 and 1h10), larger one-room schoolhouse but looks clean and modern. The kids are not too young and bibs and setting are good. But mainly headshots or scenes from a distance or wearing jackets. So I only noticed 2 very good but brief scenes.

The girl is often shown also at home and playing baseball with her film brothers at the beginning. One brother is shown on pic 2. He wears faded light blue bibs and his face looks like a girl. Also sitting at a table (headshot) and playing baseball (distance). At school he wears pants with suspenders.

Pic 3 showing a brief scene at school with a boy (at 17 minutes). Pic 4 might be one of her other brothers (looks like Jacob Buster ?)

One of the best scenes is pic 1 (I think at 35 minutes). The boy behind Ruthie standing up and walks (front+rear) but very brief scene. Rear view (partly and close-up) looks like Dragonfly of the Sugar Creek Gang, also similar short blond hair. There's another good scene with an older boy in a red shirt (rear view, outside school) I have seen a pic but haven't made a snapshot.

Movie could be rating 9 or 10 if there were more good scenes. I will add this to my 30s year list and hope to not forget for future posts.
