–Comment: Several boys and teen boys I think at least 6 boys and at least one or 2 girls in bibs. All pics taken from s2e3 segment The Storyteller. How could I miss this series? I found 2 episodes on my VHS and both had bibs/shortalls. I previously had posts about the 1959 (Bill Mumy and others) and 2002 series, rating up to 7. Pic 2 showing a blonde pigtailed girl (Melissa Clayton ?), unpictured the older teen boys and about 3 boys outside including a blond boy in dark bibs (partial view) and an old man.
The plot of this episode is perfect, rating 10, the main character (boy not in bibs, David Faustino, I wouldn't have recognized him in glasses) quite handsome then, rating ~7-8, setting ~8. As for the several boys and also the girls in total rating 7. Setting is in 1933.
Other episodes to come a very young girl in beige OshKosh shortalls in s2e2 (starring Fred Savage and Lukas Haas but not in bibs). There's also a man in s1e11, a young girl in red bibs (Judith Barsi) in s1e1. I have to check the full series.
General ratings for episodes: Currently I don't give ratings for separate episodes (as one can't purchase these on DVD/BD). So if one episode is rating 10, the complete series (or at least season) is rating 10 as well. There are 2 kind of series. Regular series and sitcoms with mainly the same actors and settings and movie series with different feature films with different plots and actors. Usually those episodes are released on single DVDs.
The anthology series are in fact short films here with 2 segments per episode. I don't give ratings for half episodes. But I will explain the ratings in the text.
