Update: Frankie & Hazel

And another update. 2 more and better pics, showing more of her bibs.

Nice cycling and also nice Baseball clothes (f,m). But I think rather few scenes.

Also soon on my Pigtails blog.

Main entry, still rating 5

Update: Emu’s All Live Pink Windmill Show

I've checked some few more episodes and found out the correct episode of the previous post (s2e9 (1985)). Another episode with same bibs and/or kids (song Footloose, in and outside, pic 2). But none of the clips, I found is better than rating 7-8.

Pics 1+3+4 are from a clip called "Emu's Pink Windmill Kids Splits Compilation", so unknown episodes, also showing a girl and I think boy in Roller Skates also doing a split, also a boy doing a split in Footloose. Nice gymnastics.

Pic 5 is from the song This Ole House (1982) showing an older girl sitting in dark red bibs, a girl dancing in turqouise bibs, unpictured a young girl dancing in purple bibs.

I think, I have to make even more posts. Main entry

Update: Golden Palace

2 better and larger pics of Billy L. Sullivan in ep 4. Standing and now also sitting.

Other pic was similar like the one in the main post.

Main entry, still rating 4 (due to very few scenes)

Update: A Country Practice (1981)

I recently found this series, but I already had an entry. Probably showing the same lady, Penny Cook as Vicky not in blue but this time in tight tan, beige or similar bibs, around 24 yo in season 1. Pic 1 from season 1 (compilation, unknown episode), pic 2 from ep 58 but from the intro (season 2, 1982). Also hands in pockets (ep 112) and probably also sitting.

There are also men in tan bibs (young and old, at least in season 10). Maybe some more actors/actresses?

I still don't know all episodes. Also soon on my pigtails blog, rating ~6.

Penny Cook died in December 2018.

Main entry, currently rating 8

Also a lady in green gardening bibs, maybe Myra Noblet?

I haven't seen the complete movie. I prefer the other movies in this series.

Very interesting.

Rating ~7-8 for now.

Cottee's Cordial 1980s ads

Juice commercials
–Year: 1988, earlier
–Year in film: 1980s
–Country: Australia
–Who in bibs: boy ~10?, girls ~9-12 ?
–Available on DVD: no ?
–I own: no
–Clothing occurrence: low+
–Rating:  6/10
–Rating: ******
–Comment: Pic 1 showing a boy in long faded bibs, a girl in shortalls or similar, also a man in the "My Dad picks the fruit" commercial. Around mid 1980s. Unfortunately, all clips are in quite bad image quality.

Pic 2 from a 1988 Cottee's commercial showing an older girl.

Unpictured, a girl around 7 yo sitting in blue shortalls from a distance. YouTube title: "Cottee's cordial ad by GPY&R Melbourne - via Mumbrella". Maybe 1990s or late 80s?

I found this by coincidence. One clip mistitled "The Winds of Jarrah trailer" but is just a collection of commercials.

Very interesting. There are more Cottee's commercials, mabye some more showing bibs?

Rating 6. Other commercials, list rating up to 6

Butterfly Island (1985)

–Year: 1985-(1993)
–Year in film: 1980s
–Country: Australia
–Who in bibs: girl Jackie ~12 ?
–Available on DVD: VHS
–I own: no
–Bib occurence: low ??
–Rating:  7/10 ?
–Rating: *******
–Comment: At least this girl, obviously Mouche Phillips in tight, light blue bibs. Pics from s1e1. During research for "The Winds of Jarrah" and Mark Kounnas (see previous post), I found some clips on aso.gov.au. Pic from the 3rd, Vietnam flashback clip.

Quite rare as well. There's at least a VHS but OOP.

Can't say much more, yet. But seems very interesting.

Rating~6-7 for now.

She also appeared in The Hounted School (1986) and Touch the Sun: Princess Kate. Not in bibs in The Hounted School. But probably she (or another teen girl) and woman in bibs in Princess Kate. Entry coming soon, I just have other Touch the Sun films.

The Winds of Jarrah

Drama/romance
–Year: 1983
–Year in film: 1946
–Country: Australia
–Who in bibs: Peter ~13
–Available on DVD: VHS
–I own: no
–Bib occurrence: medium- ?
–Rating:  6/10 ?
–Rating: ******
–Comment: At least Mark Kounnas ("Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" in dark blue bibs.

Pic 2 is from A Country Practice (ep 58, s2e44, 1982) pic 2 is from "Ginger Meggs" (1982) obviously showing him on left. Used for better identifcation.

Update: I now have pics from this movie. Pic 1 and at the update.
Pic on IMDb and several pics on ozmovies.

Written by Bob Ellis ("Fatty Finn").

Movie is very rare but there's a VHS. After finding "The Hounted School (1986)" for my sailor suit blog (unknown#25) and recently buying that DVD, I searched for more movies with Emil Minty (the younger film brother in The Winds of Jarrah).

According to the screenshots probably rather few bibs scenes. Maybe also others.

Rating ~6 for now. I haven't found any stream nor trailer. Adding it to my rare movies list.

Update: Der Typ, 13 Kinder & ich

And another update. But I haven't checked the complete film. Most or all scenes at the end. The bibs turned out to be ripped-off shortalls. Few full views and probably few scenes in total. I first wasn't sure if this is a girl or boy shown on my old pic.

Main entry, still rating 4
