Info 989: Google+ shutdown

After Picasa Albums (which were then transferred to Google Photos), now Google+ will shut down for consumers (on April 2). Some functions, like commenting via Google+ (on this and my older blogspot blogs) will be disabled by tomorrow February 4th.

More and more functions and contents will be deleted, also photos on Google+.

I'm still not sure if the pics on Google Photos are affected. Or the photos on my blogspot blogs or even the older photos (older posts) here, that were imported from there. But I think they were copied to Wordpress and not just the links. (Older posts still have links to the old blogspot blog and link to pics and vids might be empty). Many clips also were deleted on YouTube.

I understand, that all photos should be kept, as my blogspot blogs don't run via Google+ but blogger itself.

I have downloaded all contents, but just in case, please check if you need photos or comments.

Mainly of interest are the PD albums from loc.gov (FSA-OWI and NCLC) and other PD and CC albums which can be found under my blogroll (MY BLOG->PD album loc.gov). Also affected or already defunct are the slideshows (I think only in De Tuin (Villa Achterwerk)) and maybe 1 clip tagged audio (My Dog Shep) and maybe the embeddings.

Update: The Hoboken Chicken Emergency

I have completely checked this movie. There's obviously just one longer scene starting at 12 minutes. 2 ladder scenes (slide and real ladder, also sliding down the slide). Bibs are tight and Peter Billingsley wore a jacket, luckily open.

Unfortunatley, the image quality is quite poor, so the hickory stripes can't be seen. Near the end he wore darker jeans, but probably no bibs and also other pants. 2 other boys with closed jackets (maybe the red ones are snow bibs ? but I don't think so.)

One or 2 days ago, I've seen a brief preview, probably with her about an upcoming episode. Maybe in blue jeans bibs? Garden scenes?

She is host since 2012. Probably also others in earlier of the 460 episodes. There's a DVD compilation of 8 episodes but probably not containing bibs scenes. Definitely not these new ones.

Rating ~3 for now. Probably in total rather few (good) scenes.

Little House on the Prairie - s2e6

I have recently rechecked some parts of LHOTP as I don't own it on DVD but somewhere almost all TV recordings. Clay O’Brien in s2e6 is I think my most favourite boy in bibs in the complete series. I already had some pics of him and recently added this to my Western blog as well.

Several good scenes of him including walking front+rear and kneeing down. Unfortunately, he appeared just in this episode. Also great in Gunsmoke, rating 9.

He's handsome but not all boys in LHOTP are (as filmed in the 70s). In recent episodes of When Calls the Heart (2014), all kids are handsome what is not realistic in the 19th century.

Rating at least 7-8 for this episode and up to rating 9 for a girl

I have completely rechecked these 2 movies.

2 other and better pics of Dogtown (1996), pic 2, rating 4, shortalls appear to be hickory striped, and one better pic of Hideaway (1995) pic 1, rating 3 (due to few and brief scenes, maybe headshots only).

Thanks very much for this suggestion! I have only checked some parts of the complete movie. Obviously several scenes (but not in the beginning third/fourth or half).

Pics at 53 minutes, running away after pulling down the pants of the boy.

Weird movie, quite interesting, but I prefer blue bibs and farm setting.

Rating ~5-6 for now (needs to be rechecked completely).

Update: North (1994)

And another update and 2 better pics. Now also of 9 yo (but younger looking) Scarlett Johannson sitting in pink shortalls (also running). But all scenes are very short.

Later, I found a pic on IMDb of Scarlett Johannson sitting at a table in blue bibs or similar (most likely shortalls as well). But I haven't noticed this by checking the move at high speed. Probably very brief scene as well like almost all of the movie.

After updating the 1964 movie/series, rating 1 (bottom #1), I found this by coincidence. The series itself is not bad but the girl is chubby and annoying. Unlike in this stage play.

I have briefly checked all 8 clips of this documentary. Also one brief wet scene in episode 1 (boy), some older boys and girls in grey bibs without jackets in episode 7.

Unpictured: Kneeing on the grass without jacket in episode 8 and also with open jackets showing the thick belts and buckles. Bibs hanging on a clothesline in episode 1.
