Update: Fish Hawk

I have rechecked this 1979 Canadian movie and there are much more scenes than assumed of 7 yo Charles Fields.

Not that bad. Bib at low position. Also men in bibs.

But still rating 3-(4) only. There are better movies and he's quite young.

Update: Wind at My Back – s1e6

I didn't had much time, so I only have checked the 1st six episodes, yet. Some more pics of Hub in episode 6.

I also found another young boy sitting in olive bibs at 35 minutes, but brief scene and either partial hidden by a woman or out of focus and from a distance. Also one or two more boys walking in blue bibs but rear view and from a far distance, and of course men. Also interesting girls in pigtails (other blog, rating 6).

As said, several, very good scenes of Hub working in bibs, mainly outside and also a nice barn scene and sitting scenes. Look like man's bibs, high at the back. Some scenes inside are dark lit. Main entry, rating 7

Has just been aired. Not sure about her age. She's not part of the main cast.

Great series but few bibs scenes. 2 other episodes are known (girl, rating 5, woman, rating 3).

Rating 3 for this skirtalls.

I checked most of this movie and only found few, but quite good scenes of this shirtless boy (Christopher Walker).

–Comment: One girl in 6th grade, probably Maria Vogt as main character Anne in rare, light brown bibs. Bib at very high position and zipper till the top of the bib. 2 bib pockets on each half. Buttons instead of braces.

I think rather few scenes at the beginning (at home) and end (at school and outside, partly with a jacket), also sitting. Nice scene in front of a mirror, hands in pockets. Not sure about the fabric. Maybe thin cotton or polyester.

Interesting movie. 30 minutes only. But I prefer blue bibs. I only have checked it briefly. Maybe more actors in bibs.

Rating 4-5.

Update: Scandal at Scourie

Another movie, I have rechecked and replaced the images and added two new pics (riding and rear view). The previous pics were smaller and had a poor image quality.

Nice one-room schoolhouse scene. The bibs of the redhaired boy are dark blue and maybe not even raw denim, appearing regular blue outside. There's also no bib pocket.

Rather few good scenes but quite good movie.

Update: I only have seen some few parts. It's possible, that the girl only wore bibs in the commentaries and headshots only. But it's still running.

Unknown #1 found! = Game, Set, and Match

By concidence, I recognized the greyhaired man as Ian Holm in a different movie and so finally found the title.

It's the TV series "Game, Set and Match" (1988). The kid in bibs is the girl Kirsten Valder (few scenes in ep 6).

Also a lady I think in coveralls in ep 9. Pic 1 also from ep 9.

Unfortunatley, probably no more scenes in bibs. Main entry, rating 5

Update: Dying Young

I have rechecked this movie starring Julia Roberts (at high speed).

I haven't even found the snow scene with her in bibs shown in the trailer (see main entry) and no other scenes with her like the riding scene from the cover. Must be very brief (flashback) scenes.

But I have found this black teen girl in light blue bibs at the beginning playing Chinese jump rope. Few and brief scenes, partial close up and from a distance.

Also another young, black kid, probably a boy at 24 minutes. Brief scene rear view only.

Update: Home Fires Burning (1989)

I found this movie starring Neil Patrick Harris on YouTube, so I uploaded these better pics.

Unfortunately, I only noticed this brief scene but also showing him running away (rear view). Also men in bibs. And he also in an apron.

Nice early 1940s setting and props. Good, but typical Hallmark movie.
