Update 2: Update: Kinderen voor Kinderen 5 (corduroy)

Thanks to Splat182002 for guessing that the bibs are of corduroy fabric. Obviously all are. They also wore the bibs in more songs but with a sweater over them. Very hard to notice, although the complete show has a good image quality. Not sure about the DVDs.

Update: Kinderen voor Kinderen 5

I previously had a pic of this episode (under wrong episode 4). Again, boys and girls (other kids?, mainly girls) in red and blue colored bibs but now with different, non-matching but checkered shirts but matching shoes. Song: Herbergier gerstebier.

Interesting bibs, a bit baggy, I think even better in this shirts. Some in green collars and inner sleeves, others in blue. Nice blonde kids including the girls.

By coincidence I found the spin-off "De juf & Meester Battle" (shiny shorts blog, boys+girls rating 4). Maybe there are kids in bibs as well?

Update: Obviously all bibs are corduroy (see comment).

A Killer in the Family (1983)

–Comment: At least Lance Kerwin baling hay shirtless in hickory striped bibs. Brief scene at 11 minutes. I haven't noticed any others in bibs (maybe older men or supporting actors?) As usual found by coincidence and only checked briefly at high speed.

Not that bad, but very brief scene and Lance Kerwin is quite old now (still handsome).

So rating 3-4 only.

–Comment: At least Danielle Watson in faded blue bibs, hands in her pockets, bib at low position. Pic 2 from ep 2, pic 1 from final ep 4. She also appeared in the earlier parts ('83, 86, 88, unknown if in bibs as well). First I thought, that this would be Vicky McClure (pic 1 on right) as she also has short blond hair. Trev had red hair in 86 and 88. Also another lady in '86 with short, spiked blonde hair light blue bibs with one strap down as shown on the DVD cover. Obviously Chanel Cresswell as Kelly.

I found it after finding the movie Believe (2013) (12 yo girl, rating 4) which should be similar (maybe due to the early setting).

I haven't checked all episodes, nor the earlier series which might be a bit better. Probably, I have to make more posts (for other actors, sitting scenes and the like).

Rating 4-5 for now.

–Comment: At least 12 or 13 yo Ike Eisenmann (pic 1 on the left) and Rex Corley ("Where the Red Fern Grows" 1974) as older brother) in beige/brownish appearing bibs. Also a man in dark bibs. Starring Eric Shea as main character, city boy Joey on vacation, the other boy pictured. Interesting jacket. No credits on IMDb.

Set in the swamps of Virginia. Not sure about the time setting. Could be 1930s, the blue jeans however more look like the 1970s. There's also a wounded dog and a black man (Moses Gunn) appearing (living in the swamp ?). Directed by Robert Day.

I don't know the complete movie, I think it's not on DVD. 2 brief clips uploaded on YouTube by Iake Eissinmann, claiming to be the actor.

Rating at least 4-5 for now.

Stranger Things (2016) - s2e7

I have now checked some parts of complete episodes 1, 6 and 7. Thanks to Anonymous for telling me one good source.

I don't have the time to check all episodes at slow speed as there's no quick preview window. Unfortunately, 12 yo Eleven often wore a jacket and many scenes are dark lit.

Both pics from s2e7. Also rear views and sitting on the floor. I haven't found scenes in ep 6.

Detailed time positions would be helpful, but I think there's no need for more entries.

Nice 80s setting but I prefer farm setting, males and baggy bibs. And don't like the punks.

–Comment: 17 yo Louisa Masciullo in grey waterproof bibs /bib at high position) and red rubber boots, 18 yo Philipp Schmitze-Elsen in black ones and some young women or older teen girls (including one Asian, bib at low position) in blue and orange (non-jeans) bibs at a seal sanctuary in San Francisco. Final episode 6 (also covering LA). The last 2 episodes are also available as separate, long versions. There were also other waterproof pants (without bib) hanging outside on a clothes rail including red, light blue and yellow pants, but they chose these bibs.

Quite interesting series (I missed the first 3 episodes). Also riding scenes (also of boys in rural Iowa, in a different episode, but none in bibs, same for Texas). I don't like tall, hectic 18 yo Philipp with his high pitched voice. They both also appeared in "Let's Talk" and Die Jungs-WG (season 3, 2013, bedroom blog and shiny shorts blog)/ Mädchen-WG (season 2, 2012).

Grey bibs are great but rather few scenes. Black fishing bibs are also very rare.

So rating 4-5. Update now 6.

–Comment: In the middle of yesterday's ep 40 (s4e9) there was a blonde woman, maybe in her 50s who invented special, water-repellant bib overalls mainly for open air festivals, wearing herself a pair in pink. Also available in black and white. Bibs can be painted with a pen and cut off. Obviously rather thin fabric.

Theses bibs are already available for sale and I don't want to advertise them. Also no need for a pic (can easyily be found online). I never thought, that she would get a deal.

Name starts with rubber, but is 100% polyester.

I doubt that many would wear them. Maybe for other "occasions" or as a costume. The price is quite high (for that material).

By coincidence, another entry of rubber bibs coming next.

I think there were some few more women in bibs in earlier episodes.

–Comment: Mainly shown 2 boys, around 8 and 10 yo also sitting (at a school play or similar and a bit later at home next each other). The younger, light blonde boy also in a sleeveless white shirt.The boy in pics 1+4 is probably younger than thought.

At 56 minutes also some more boys. At least one teen boy. I think one young, black boy in medium blue bibs, one young white boy in maybe hickory striped. Also men in bibs. Nice farm setting.

I found this by coincidence and only have checked it briefly.

Pics 1,2 and 4 at 3 minutes.

Also some girls in nice sailor dresses (soon on my other blog, rating ~5).

Rating at least 6-7 for now. Most boys are quite young. I assume rather few very good scenes.
