I have checked once more some of my backups for my unknown movies on my other blogs, and found this new one (this pic only). Captured on TUE, April 29 2003 at 10.25 pm from French channel TV5 Europe, so obviously a French movie, series or documentary or magazine.
Probably not captured from an older VHS but directly. The movie could have been produced earlier, but the fashion looks like the 90s or 2000s although roller skates instead of inliners.The file name doesn't give more hints. I think I don't have a video. Either I haven't found it yet, or it's on one of my discs which can't be read anymore. Or I just had captured this screenshot only what is likely due to the late time.
Another unknown, older French movie on my sailor suit blog (not overalls). Another quite new unknown movie on my shiny short blog, rating 9. 2 movies could be identified.

Funny you should post that. I just found this film a few weeks ago and purchased the DVD. The film is called Les Parents Modèles a French television film from 1997. There are actually two boys wearing overalls in this film. One of the main characters is a boy who wears blue overalls throughout most of the film. The other is the boy who wears the black shortalls found in only a few scenes. Check out these links for images of each boy:

Finally got to review the complete Les Parents Modèles DVD. Unfortunately the kid in the blue overalls is actually a girl with short hair. She wears two different types of overalls in the tv film. She appears in most of the film wearing one type of overalls or the other. There are actually quite a few good scenes of the boy wearing the black shortalls in the film. He is one of the regular child characters in the film. There are many views of the front, back, and sides of the shortalls. He is shown rollerblading, standing, walking, and sitting in the shortalls throughout the film. In my opinion the DVD is worth buying for the large number of scenes shown with the girl and boy wearing overalls and shortalls.
