-Comment: Haley wears dark blue raw denim bibs. Working on the Texan farm with his uncles, sitting in a bar. Funny and good coming of age and farm film. Rarely these days. Pants are too long so cuffed up much. Uncles wear same bib color. Good acting of his uncles (Michael Caine, Robert Duvall) but especially of Osment. Some few (good) or medium bib scenes, but showed from all sides, also while bending down.

I like farm films and I'm not sure, what I like more, standard blue, stone washed bibs or this dark denim ones. One of his uncles didn't want to leave the house in bibs (Duvall), because he would look like "damn sharecropper", but Caine said, that's what gardners wear and they are gardeners. After that Haley is also in bibs and working in the garden. Also some additional scenes with a stuntman of Osment in bibs and Osment in behind the scenes. I don't like the fary tale /oriental scenes. Why aren't there more bib scenes at this farm?

I own the RC2 UK DVD, 16:9 widescreen. English language and subtitles. Also lots of interesting DVD extras. Interesting how long this movie had been planned and what other actors were originally planned as uncles.

But this movie is mainly of interest because of Osment. He's not my favourite actor, but rate this 8-9.

First bibs scenes at 34 minutes (pic 1). Pic 2 a bit later. Also a nice close up of his butt at 36 (I don't want to show it here). Pic 3 showing a nice, but very brief sitting scene at 48 minutes. Many scenes are headshots.

I like raw denim bibs. Bib at high position. When sitting on the porch (40 minutes), the bib is directly under his neck.
