Dream #14: Dragonfly at my home

(Remark: I haven't seen the Sugar Creek Gang movies for ~1 year). I think just before I had to think on his phrase: No, I can't, I'm allergic to smoke (film 5).

Dragonfly in bibs sitting next to me on left, I think in front of my computer. As there's no space, he's sitting on my chair and I'm sitting on right next to him.
I'm watching his back and touching/tickling next to the jeans fabric, so near or below the shoulders. Probably he wore a (white) T-shirt. Then I'm touching the rim of the bib on front (low position).
He's laughing, ticklish. I was comparing the height, telling him that I don't like the low bib position, and he told me (before or after) that he was acting in another movie with same style bibs but in darker color.

My computer is not seen, nor anything else in my room, not even a table, so maybe the location is not my home but at school and then I could be at his age (and maybe wearing bibs as well). Probably I woke up and so this scene ends here and I can't remember if there were earlier scenes or how he got there.
I had 2 later dreams/scenes (maybe half awake) probably unrelated, the only similarity is that they are school related (but other locations). Maybe he's around me there as well. In the first I had to do an exam. Maybe he tried to help me. The second a school trip in a big wooden cottage with others around.

I recently had a Waltons post about sitting on benches rear view. There are some great sitting scenes rear views in film 2 in a canoe and in film 5 on hay. Pic is a re-upload from behind the scenes. Pic 4 last pic I had in this post.

Sky Trackers (1994)

Family series, 26 ep
–Year: 1994
–Year in film: 1990s ?
–Country: Australia
–Who in bibs: Maggie ~10, Mike ~14, other teens
–Available on DVD: yes
–I own: no
–Bib occurrence: low+?
–Rating:  5/10 ?
–Rating: *****
–Comment: Some teens in medium blue space coveralls. Best scenes I found this and also sitting in final episode 26. Teen boy is Polish Zbych Trofimiuk ("Spellbinder"). There is a young girl in purple bibs or less likely shortalls in ep 20 (pic on IMDb). I didn't had the time to check all episodes. Probably rather few scenes in the last episodes? Also light blue and orange coveralls in ep 13.

Another great Australian series. Some more to come.

Rating ~5-6 for now. (Usually I don't give rating for coveralls).

There is also a 1990 prequel movie of the same name.

Nissebanden

Family series, 24 ep

–Year in film: 1980s ?

–Who in bibs: woman Pil ~31, man, boys
–Available on DVD: yes

–Bib occurrence: medium+?
–Rating:  3/10 ?
–Rating: ***
–Comment: Kirsten Lehfeldt (*1952, pic 1 sitting on left, legs with fringes, ep 6) and a man in red bibs as elves. I think many scenes in all episodes, also scenes outside. Also some very boys in the audience, pic 2 from ep 7, also a boy in dark bibs and yellow pullover, maybe more kids?

There was also a 1989 sequel series with at least a man in red bibs.

I only have checked it briefly. Many scenes.

Rating ~3.

R.I.P. Benji Gregory (ALF)

Unfrosted

–Year in film: 1963
–Country: USA
–Who in bibs: Butchie ~10, Cathy ~8 ?
–Available on DVD: not yet
–I own: no
–Bib occurrence: low ??
–Rating:  5/10 ?
–Rating: *****
–Comment: At least Bailey Sheetz (left) in hickory striped bibs also sitting and Eleanor Sweeney (right) in tight faded bibs. He's now 12 yo, filmed for 2 years so ~9-10 yo in the movie but looking even younger.

A suggestion from JN. Thanks very much. Pic is an official publicity pic (taken from cineclub, original rights to Netflix/John P. Johnson, used by fair use license. I only found trailers not showing bibs.

Some more great pics on Bailey's instagram page (good sitting, also of the girl). He is also shown in dark blue bibs brand Key (maybe not in the movie). Also some pics on IMDb.

I don't know the movie, yet. 1963 setting and interesting Kellog's plot. Directed by Jerry Seinfeld.

Rating ~(4)-5 for now.

Winners (1985)

Drama teen series, 14 ep in 2 seasons
–Year: 1985, 1990
–Year in film: 1980s
–Country: AUS, UK
–Who in bibs: girl ~15?
–Available on DVD: VHS only?
–I own: no
–Bib occurrence: very low?
–Rating:  4/10 ?
–Rating: ****
–Comment: At least this young teen girl in white or light pink appearing bibs (or shortalls) in 1985 ep Just Friends (s1e2). Very brief scene at 10. Not sure about the actress. It's not main character Sherie Graham (as she's blonde).

Also a nice kissing scene in a photo booth. Roller skating plot. Some clips on aso.gov of this and other episodes (8 episodes of season 1, season 2 is there called "More Winners", Episode "Second Childhood" obviously missing there).

I later found the full episode on Youtube.

Interesting series and nice 80s setting and plot. Nicole Kidman starring in s1e1. Other episodes have different plots and actors and are set in 1910 and 1932, 1947, another one in the future.

Rating ~4-5 for the girl (I first considered 5 but for the very brief scene again rating 4), series probably higher. I don't know all episodes. Also used at schools.

Found during hard research. Some episodes and other AUS series I later found on YouTube channel Twisted Lunchbox. I will check some of those. Luckily I already know most of the series.

Update: The 1st I checked, a girl sitting in bibs in Worst Best Friends (2002) in s1e5 coming soon. And at least a boy in Noah & Saskia (2004) in s1e6.

Futz (1969)

Comedy film based on play
–Year: 1969
–Year in film: 1960s ?
–Country: USA
–Who in bibs: men, boys
–Available on DVD: yes
–I own: no
–Bib occurrence: very often *
–Rating:  3/10
–Rating: ***
–Comment: Some young men (some with tags) in bibs. Many scenes. I think some few boys in bibs as well but briefly shown pic 2 at 9 (at least I haven't noticed others).

Most scenes outside like on a wooden stage. Some good actions and acrobatics, headstands, lying on stage etc. Later also shirtless scenes and wet scenes.

Based on a 1967 play "Futz!" (I haven't found clips of that). Upload says 1968 but original 1967). Some info and photos of that here

https://catalog.lamama.org/Detail/occurrences/431

Men in bibs is nothing special and I usually don't post movies with just men. But it's quite interesting, many scenes and some few scenes of boys. Now we have the oppisite case. Many scenes but the actors aren't that good or too old.

Rating ~2-3.

Welcome to Orty-Fou

Sitcom, 14 ep
–Year: 1999-2000
–Year in film: 1990s?
–Country: UK
–Who in bibs: Beatrice ~6 ? , (lady, men)
–Available on DVD: no?
–I own: no
–Bib occurrence: very low
–Rating:  3/10
–Rating: ***
–Comment: A very young girl probably Ace Ryan (Ace Destiny Ryan) as Beatrice/Buzzy in s1e2 (at 8). Also up to 3 or 4 grown-ups (1 lady) in turquoise space suits coveralls in most episodes of season 2. Also mom in an apron.

Very young girl, brief scene, makes rating ~3-(4). However, bibs aren't that bad.

Brand #33: The Waltons - season 5 part 3

In s5e18 (disc 6 at 1h24/1h29) there's a boy in beige bibs at the veteran meeting on a graveyard. I previously had 1 or 2 pics in update 5. Full frontal view only from a distance. Another very brief scene between others at 1h24. Obviously 1 button on top of the bib pocket (that is often Dee Cee). Below is a dark spot. Maybe a tag? At that position it should be Headlight/Crown.

The rear has a typical long diamond many 30s pair had. The removed tag is rectangled (like DubbleWare, Hercules, Super Big Mac and I think N&W). But I now assume the dark spot being another button and also the rear look like the tan carpenter's bibs of Jim-Bob turned out to be Dee Cee.

I think there's one other boy in blue bibs but from a distance. There are some more great rear views of Jim-Bob (low back) and Ben on this disc. Ben I have here. Another one on disc 5 at 10. And a good walking view of Jason front+rear disc 6.

Season 5 has rating 10 (mainly for Jim-Bob) and no real need for rating separate episodes, scenes or actors, as one can't buy single episodes or scenes. But probably the brief scenes would get rating ~4-5. Not that bad but too brief.

Fanta (1981 ad)

By coincidence I found this commercial on a 1981 German compilation. A very young boy in hickory striped bibs (also running full view) and a blonde pigtailed girl in dark bibs also sitting and walking thumbs behind bib. Quite many scenes for a commercial. I think Huck Finn plot.

Clip is called Zeitkapsel 1981: Zappen durchs deutsche Fernsehen  - Teil 1 Tagesprogramm (by WaWaWa - Was Wann War). Scene at 13 minutes. (He also has other years and evenings, I mainly checked the 80s).

Rating ~4 (for the girl), rating ~3 for the boy.
