New series has just been aired. Pic 1 from today's ep 1 (Japan), I think just this brief headshot at the end which is a preview of ep 2 (Korea, tomorrow, TUE May 7th on Kika).

Pics 2+3 from ep 2 also shown a local lady in darker
bibs or shortallswith leather straps. This is probably just an apron (also a teen boy). Scenes also near the end. Louisa also sitting.

I only have briefly checked this upcoming episode, already available on the ZDF mediathek. Aired on Kika.

I somehow like her. Nice eyes and teeth. Also in jeans shorts. Rating ~6-7. Maybe more scenes in later episodes/series. I haven't noticed bibs in the Europe series.

Previously also she and teen boy Philipp in waterproof bibs in the USA series 2016 and ep 3 Vietnam.

2 more and much better pics of 21 yo Tiffani-Amber Thiessen. Nice kneeing and farm work. Wide straps. Bib at high position.

What else to say? Could be better. I somehow don't like her (hair).

Update 5: Cedarmont Kids

I found 2 more scenes, I already mentioned but didn't made pics. A young, barefooted boy sitting in dark blue bibs in "Do Your Ears Hang Low" and a young girl in faded shortalls in “Be Kind to Your Web Footed Friends”, next to another girl in colorful shortalls (see update 4).

But the kids are too young here, so rating ~3-4 for them only. Quite good farm setting and songs, though. I think, I've checked all episodes now.

Update: Diplomatic Siege

Another movie completely rechecked.

I haven’t found more scenes. Pic at 10-11 minutes. On widescreen versions you can only see parts of the bib when sitting in the car. Very brief scene. A bit earlier only parts of her straps, similar like this pic. So at least a better headshot. Looking much different and younger.

Unfortunately only this very brief scene, but I like grey, THW-style bibs very much. Almost perfect with the belt. I wonder, who introduced this kind of bibs. French, German, Americans or someone else?

Probably nice butt, but I think only front view.

Update: Happy-End am Wörthersee

One better and larger pic of this girl, Ilonka Rasch, better sitting properly on the seesaw.

Quite good and tight, dark bibs (I think not raw denim), simple, overlapping straps, but the girl is quite young.

–Comment: Time for Our Gang. A young, unknown boy, maybe around 6 yo sitting in dark bibs in the barn making music. Maybe some more supporting actors. But no better scenes as well.

Young boy, few good scenes, mainly from a distance, so rating ~2-3 only. Nice setting and plot, though.

Few Our Gang movies left. I think, no need to post every movie starring Robert Blake, always looking the same. Around 5 movies left with others (Leonard Landy, Mickey Daniels and unknown boys).

Story 155: Update book 3, overalls sounds, thoughts

In The Land Remembers from Ben Logan (book 66), there's a great description of the noise that the stiff pant legs made from a boys at school. Yesterday, I have re-read some parts of The One-Room School House: Stories about the Boys by Jim Heynen (book 3) there's a similar plot when a young boy sneaking around at night and can fit the noise with the animal sounds (story Being Youngest, page 49).


I think the noise is especially when the fabric is new raw denim and the bibs can't be very tight. Another great imagination is the smell of new raw denim bibs at school, described in other books.

Then I wonder, if there are still enough plots for writing own novels. There are lots of both fiction and non-fiction books. Movie making is much easier (although most are based on books). You can "simply" take new actors and new locations. But most plots had already been told and shown, especially in The Waltons. Remakes are possible or changing characters and their age. Typical plots are romance, bullying, crime, pranks, floods, drought, problems with parents or siblings, health issues (handicapped, blind), death, ...

There are different time settings (see the year lists, I recently added ~20 movies, I forgot). Western means mainly ranches but mainly beige cotton bibs. 1930s Great Depression is probably one of the best settings. Then the 1950s. The 1970s, 80s and present farm settings are too modern to me. Another thing is future and time travel what bears more possibilities. Currently,  I won't write books nor make movies.

–Comment: Annika Preil in tight, ripped bibs, backside simple straps. Sometimes with a belt. First small ripped holes on the knees, later also a large hole. Several alpine scenes. Hands in pockets, sitting, lying on the bed, farm work...

Has just been aired. 5 part 2019 special compilation, aired under "Paula, Anna und die wilden Tiere". I think rarely in bibs in other, regular episodes. Also in short Lederhosen or similar in the previous episode. I don't know all episodes.

Quite interesting and many scenes, but I prefer baggy bibs. Available on the daserste mediathek.
