Update: Pierino colpisce ancora

I have rechecked this movie and hope to find a better image quality, but probably there isn't any better due to the age of this 1982 movie. So the corduroy fabric is hardly to see. Maybe on a DVD on a big screen. 3 more pics to also show the full length. Nice grey bibs, bib at high position, appears even higher with the scarf. But flared legs and backside simple suspenders till the butt. Boy has longer 70s-like hair and often a cap. Bibs are surprisingly not baggy. It seems that he would wear a belt, but I think he didn't.

Rather few scenes and mainly in the first half only. Also sitting at school (incl. sitting down) but only this side view and headshots. Near the end, the man Pierino in bibs as well, I think blue bibs and one strap down but brief scene and not of interest.

I prefer the 1981 Pierino contro tutti which I own on DVD.

Update: Antboy 3

Has recently been aired. But I only have seen the beginning. So one more pic of Amalie Kruse Jensen to better show her shortalls and their length.

I don't like this modern movie. Shortalls are not that bad, though.

Now also on my bedroom blog (boy, rating 3).

Update: Little Boy (2015)

And another movie completely checked. Jakob Salvati wore many different pairs, black cotton, light brown corduroy, light blue and dark blue jeans bibs and also coveralls. And some other boys in jeans bibs, one in light blue hickory striped.

Pic 1 showing him in light blue bibs with overlapping straps, also walking rear view. Red shirt. Scene at 57 minutes. Also same clothes at 33 but with a cap.

Pic 2 is at 1h31 in dark blue bibs and cap but with a jacket. Pic 3 in corduroy bibs and boots, also sitting on the bed (somewhere between 15 and 33).

Pic 4 below showing a boy in light blue bibs at 13 minutes. Another boy briefly in dark blue bibs, headshot only inside. Pic 5 showing an older teen boy in medium blue bibs. Soon after that a boy in light blue hickory striped bibs is shown, also close-up, partial. Main character in corduroy bibs lying on the grass, also close-up, rear/side view.

Medium blue coveralls (jeans, legs cuffed up) at 35 minutes.

So many scenes. Unfortunately is the main character very young and rather few and brief scenes of others.

Book 76: Dime novels #3

I found some dime novels, this time with boys in bibs. I don't own any of those. Previously, I searched for dime novels mainly with alpine or doctors plot (often has boys in Lederhosen). These are about moms.

Often, the cover pics varies (replaced on later editions, especially for audiobooks) and there's often no mentioning in the text.

Most kids are very young and not the main characters in these romances.

There are many dime novels. And older issues are often hard to find and if so then not separately but bundled in 5 or 10s.

Bibs (and boy) in pic 2 are quite interesting. Sitting on a beach? Overlapping straps.

Also interesting bedroom and pajamas scenes (sister and older brother, soon on my other blog) and other scenes of interest (swimming, bathtub).

Interesting series, but I don't like the 70s. And I think rather few bibs scenes but I don't know all episodes (just 2). Novel by Ann Ladiges. Now available on DVD.

For bibs rating 3-4 for now only.

Second Childhood (1936) Our Gang

He also appeared in some few other episodes like Our Gang Follies of 1936 (rating 3), but unknown if in bibs as well. Also in bibs in The Pinch Singer (1936).

Rating 2-3 only. Not the main character and very young. I don't like curly hair.

Update: Honig im Kopf

I have briefly checked the complete movie but hope for a broadcasting. 3 new pics of Emma Schweiger in shortalls including sitting scenes. Adding tags farm, sitting F. Still not sure if 2 different pairs. One appearing light blue (maybe just in the sun).

Nice setting and maybe even more scenes than assumed.

Also soon on my pigtails blog (other girl), rating ~4.

One better and larger pic of Thor Wahlestedt in Come Morning. The bibs the color and the height of the bib is a bit better to see outside in the sun.
