-Comment: Brandon De Wilde (1942-1972) as orphan who ran away in heavy worn dark blue bibs (2 picture) and later also in clean raw denim bibs (pic on top and below). I don't know the complete movie yet. It's available at archive.org and YouTube

Novel by John Buress. Not sure about the time and the age of his character. Other sources say 14 yo in the 1910s. The raw denim bibs look much better and I will update it soon. Also starring Lee Marvin. Rating 7-8 for now. I like those period films /drama/ coming-of-age movies and westerns. Maybe one of the best Public Domain movies in color. Uploaded recently on archive.org that's why I haven't found it earlier.

Couple more suggestions for bibs movies are Het Zakmes with boy in two different overalls throughout whole movie and Coma with David Hollander in white overalls.
