It's unlikely to find the remaining 3 VHS and 5 digital episodes.
I first found the rights database SIAE. The title there is ANNI D ORO. Beppe Cino is credited as Cino Guiseppe Dette Beppe. The only one with a registration number is co-author Vittorio Schiraldi (he died in Sept 2025, R.I.P.). Surprisingly no credit for the composer. In some episodes Tiber is credited. Although not mentioned, I still think that RAI has the (full) rights.
It might be possible to watch the series (for free) on workstations in libraries but only on location in Italy. According an AI, this series might not be digitized yet. There's a possibility to obtain pro licences but for companies only and for very high fees (per minute/second).
RAI teche selling (watermarked) copies but officially not for individuals but for organisations, schools and the like. According an AI, it might be possible for individuals to get copies, like for scientific, cultural or genealogy studies. They might demand a copy of an ID-card. But it's unclear if that all is true and how strict they are. Prices are probably quite high as well (150 EUR per episode ?, if not digitized yet)
If anybody has experience or thoughts please comment.
I also asked the AI for plots. These first sound plausible, but at least some are confirmed to be wrong, or at least not detailed enough. Interesting is that each episode should have a lesson to be learned and there might be deeper mataphoric symbols. But the AI could have made it all up.
