I have again checked historical overalls websites, some are still active, some work (partially) via archive org. Most have some few pics (most I already saw), mainly from geocities. Also of interest is a survey (including results) from geocities.com site /WestHollywood/7510/results.htm (only work via archive.org). No new movies.
62% prefer loose bibs, 59% baggy, 76% single color etc. I think males for own wear. There are 3 surveys. I think around ~350 votes each.

One site with links, still working, I have checked most links, but most links and pics are defunct (I haven't again checked all links of links in all archive versions, I think I found new pics of German farmers, archive.org probably now found pics within all dates, but quite tiny and none of interest for me, maybe one with teen boys, mechanical, geocities.ws/rubberboots_dk/blacksmiths/mek3.jpg)
