–Comment: 5 young men/older teen boys (Kyle Johnson as 14 yo Newt was ~16), some shirtless, 3 in ripped off bibs. Also undressing/swimming. Obviously also sitting (one pic on IMDb), but I missed that. Rather few (good) scenes at the beginning. Notable scene starting at ~10 minutes. Also men (white and black) in different bibs at the shore.

Written and directed by Gordon Parks. I wonder, why I haven't found that before.

Rating ~3-4 for now. I have to recheck the movie at slow speed and also check the 1963 novel (17 mentionings of overalls).
