Today, I was able to import another 256 posts from one file (file 6). Obviously, that's the daily limit. I read about different amounts of limits (50 posts/day and there should also be a weekly limit). When I started, I could import 734 posts posts/day.
Another problem is, that some files are missing (I compared the amounts of the monthly archive with the original blog via archive org.)
2020 seems complete (up to March 22)
2019 is complete (what is available, so Jan-May)
2018 is almost complete. 36 posts missing, thereof 32 from May
2017 only dec+nov complete, oct partial, rest missing
2016 and 2015 (today's import, partial)
2016 Jan complete, Feb partial, rest missing files 7 and 8 didn't work yesterday.
2015 Dec-Sept complete, Aug partial, rest in files 5 and maybe 6.

2014 Dec-Aug probably complete file 5 (SU another 252 posts imported=1495)
2013 probably complete, file 4 (MO 257 files=1753) but file had more (2014 ?)
2012 Sept-Apr complete, March, Oct partial, file 3(only) TUE 254 files=2007, had more
2011 Jan-Apr complete, May partial (file 1) WED 253 files=2260. had more
To do: THU: retry file 1 if more files can be imported. If this works then file 3 and others. Check why files 7+8 didn't work at all. Otherwise try to split files up. File 2 doesn't contain posts.
THU: files 1 (now 2789) and file 3 (now 2866) imported. Previoulsy missing files were added.

So, the import will take some few more days, about a week. And after that I have to retry and recheck the missing ones. I have to either split up the backup files (unsure if I can do that) or to manually post them.
I now have also finished adding all rating 8 posts to this blog. Rating 7 are much more (more than 100 missing).
I have much fewer hits on this blog. Around 100/day. Same on my 1st blog. On wordpress, I had up to 1,000/day. Obviously not all have found this blog, although I linked to it and mentioned it often.
