There are at least 3 different book sets of 6 books each. And all of them contain a different colored dice board game (same route as pictured, 104 locations) and some other extras. I don't know Chinese nor the game rules. Sugar Creek (糖溪) transliterated is Tangxi. Sugar Creek Gang is 糖溪帮 (Táng xī bāng). The other characters means Adventure.
There are rectangled character pieces of the 6 characters with headshots (different illustrator than in other countries). The character cards are yellow in set 1, light blue in set 2 and light green in set 3).
Book 1 and character card (Swamp Robber) showing redhaired Bill (比尔) in a green shirt (and blue shorts not shown here). The base of the board piece is dark blue. Book 9 he has a red hat, board piece light blue. Book 15 without hat. Same board piece color.

Book 11 he has a yellow shirt and a green basecap worn backwards. Board piece light green. Book 14 brown curly hair, yellow shirt, light blue overalls and straw hat around his neck.
Book 3 showing (boy) Circus (杂耍) in spiked brown hair, horizontally white/blue striped shirt, blue longer shorts. Board piece light blue. Book 10 he has a brown jacket, brown basquet with both hands on and blue gloves. Board piece purple. Book 17 yellow striped shirt and a long stick on his shoulders (fishing pole ?).
Book 4 showing chubby Poetry (诗集) in a white shirt, short green shorts with suspenders and a green bow tie. Board piece pink. Book 12 in a brown jacket, green basecap holding a lantern. Board piece turqouise. Book 18 green vest, straw hat and fishing pole.
Book 5 showing greyhaired Big Jim (大吉) in a white shirt with 2 red stripes, red shorts and Baseball bat and glove. Board piece light green. Book 7 brown basecap backwards, yellow jacket, blue pullover. Board piece blue.
Book 6 (The Secret Hideout) showing (on the character card) Dragonfly (蜻蜓) aka Roy Gilbert with big blue eyes, brown hair (sometimes appearing red), tongue sticks a bit out, yellow shirt, khaki shorts (knee length) and hands in pockets. Board piece medium blue. Book 8 (Palm Tree Manhunt) beige hood and blue coat. Board piece turqouise. Book 16 (The Haunted House) white shirt, long, blue overalls and blue basque cap and binoculars. All sets have a hand drawn b&w region map of the Sugar Creek locations. Set 1 has a brown postcard in a white sleeve depicting a treasure map on front. Group order on set 1 from left: Little Jim, Bill, Circus, Big Jim, Dragonfly, Poetry. Set 2: Bill, Big Jim, Dragonfly, Circus, Little Jim, Poetry. Set 3: Little Jim, Circus, Bill, Poetry, Big Jim, Dragonfly.
Unlike the recent English editions, this Chinese edition probably has b&w illustrations inside, like some of the other language editions including some of the German's.
Interesting, there's also a Serbian DVD of Swamp Robber from Acrobat film. (English audio, Serbian subtitles) RC2 and 4:3 full screen. The original is widescreen.
