Update: Boys on the Side

And another movie completely rechecked. 2 more and much better pics of Drew Barrymore. Better quality and now showing the full length. Also another lady in faded shortalls at 1h10 (pic 3), not sure about her name, maybe a supporting actress. Also very good. Other pics at 1h16. Also a young man shirtless at 44 minutes.

A bit fewer scenes than first assumed.

Nice bibs.

Huckleberry Finn and His Friends (1979) – ep 9

The best episode concerning bibs so far. Finally some good rear views. Bibs are much tighter than I remembered. And shorter.

Pic 1 at 5 minutes, pic 2 sitting at 1 minute, also side/rear view standing (intro, taken from last episode), pic 3 walking at 3 minutes, pic 4 at 11 minutes walking upstairs. I think also some few close-up scenes there.

Book 94: Warner: The Boxcar Children #34 The Mystery Horse

I have announced this long time ago, but now I have rechecked this and even ordered.

Nice farm setting including boy(s) and girls in bibs. At least 2 girls (10+12 yo) in shortalls and one (older darkhaired boy, maybe 14 yo Henry) in bibs (illustrations). On the cover there's a young boy in bibs (Ben 6 yo) and the 2 girls.

Some parts can be found online. They found bibs, sturdy leather boots and bandanas in a barn and wear them.

As usual it takes some time to receive and read it. Published in 1993.

There'a also an audiobook. The movies including the upcoming one are animated movies.

I don't know the other parts of the books series. Some few have kids (at least girls) in bibs/shortalls as well. Maybe mainly the 10 yo girl. But #34 seems most of interest.

Update: Received. Several good illustrations (by Charles Tang), same as on the cover, showing all 4 in bibs. I haven't read much, yet. In the text, the 2 girls wear (long) bibs on the farm vacation as well.

Update 2: Completely read. Very good illustrations but rather few good mentionings. I somehow doubt that there are better books in this series.

Update: Survival on the Mountain (1997)

I only notice 2 very brief scenes at the beginning of Katie Stuart, mainly headshots, front and a bit more rear view. Fewer parts of bibs shown on widescreen versions.

So the previously pic (pic 1) is already the best. Bib at low position. But not that bad.

At least I now can confirm full length bibs. Also soon on my pigtails blog, rating ~4.

Not bad but I prefer the long raw denim bibs. So rating ~3 for this only.

Huckleberry Finn and His Friends (1979) – ep 7

I'm still watching this DVD set. As I'm currently very busy, I'm currently have seen up to ep 7. Pics again from an online stream as the DVD is in the player.

Barefooted Huck sitting and lying on the (dirty) ground. He doesn't have other clothes (but shown later in expensive ones).

Still rather few scenes and very few and brief rear views. Maybe I will recheck even these brief and often dark lit scenes.

So the complete series is now checked, except s5e6 which I couldn't find. As assumed, season 4 is the best.

Deichmann 2019 ads f/m

By coincidence, I found an online commercial showing a young boy in beige bibs.

I don't post pics of modern commercials. I don't want backlinks and I don't want to advertise them, but I tell the name of the clips.

The slogan is "for every road ahead" but the clip is called "Sneaker für Kids - Jetzt bei Deichmann". More scenes of the boy (headshot, sitting but bird's eye, from a distance" are shown in the official, longer clip "for every road ahead". Both from July 2019.

In the latter clip there's also an older teen girl in beige bibs (or longer shortalls) at a party but few and brief scenes. Sleeveless black shirt.

Another black girl sitting in blue shortalls (pic) is currently shown on the Deichmann website. Scroll down, titled "Kinder Sommersandalen". Shoe manufacturer.

The boy is quite young maybe 7 or 8 yo but quite good scene and nice, longer haircut. Rating ~4.

Update 2: Mystic Nights and Pirate Fights

I found a 2015 trailer on vimeo in very good image quality (pics 1+3). Pic 2 is from a clip of the cinematographer's site. Obviously more (good) scenes than first assumed/remembered. Sitting scenes but not sure how many and how good. Probably also wet scenes.

Men in fishing/waterproof bibs and also coveralls.

There's a complete stream online (partly Hindi or similar title) but in poor quality.

I still hope for a DVD.

Info 1105: Dream #4 Schloss Einstein raw denim

Last night, I finally had another dream about bibs. Unfortunately only a very brief scene.

In the dream, I watched a (fictional) episode of Schloss Einstein. Not at my current home but in a larger hall. Maybe I lived in a boarding school (not Schloss Einstein) or maybe a shop. At least one person (lying on a bed ?) saw me watching TV. Not Kika but channel Das Erste. At the end of the episode, some teen boys in raw denim bibs, around 14 yo are chatting at a diso or party (but none dancing). 1 or 2 boys are first on the right, front/side view. When they left there are boys in a row,  all rear view. Tight bibs.

I left the room and go down a staircase or escalator to post it to my blog.

I had some more dreams with completely different, unrelated contents (no bibs). Maybe I remember more or even continue this dream tonight. I haven't watched Schloss Einstein nor raw denim contents for a long time. And I think there weren't any teen boys in raw denim bibs in the series.
