–Rating: ***
–Comment: An older, black teen boy, around 15 or 16 yo in light blue bibs. I only noticed 2 brief scenes, one at the beginning at 7 minutes (pic 1), later at 1h14 during "Wells Fargo Wagon" (pic 2) sitting in a cafe also running outside (rear view) and later standing (behind others).
After updating the original 1962 movie starring Robert Preston and Ron Howard (still rating 10 for the shirtless boys, maybe nowadays rating 8), I noticed, that I still hadn't a post about this remake.
The remake is very different and worse. Same songs, nice period clothes, but rather poor actors, including young Winthrop. Also in sailor suits (other blog, rating 4).
Very few bibs scenes. And I don't like Broderick.
So rating 2-3 only for the bibs, the movie itself maybe a bit higher.
