There are also older boys, mainly in shorts, some shirtless, but no other in bibs known. Completely available online but I only have checked it partly. One vid is in quite good image quality but in dark and wrong colors.

Rating 2-3 for now only due to his age and few scenes. Also few other good scenes.

Great series. Currently being aired due to the 50th anniversary. Obviously very few scenes of real bibs. And few kid and teen actors (not sure if any in bibs).

Great series, but I prefer blue jeans bibs. so rating 2-3 for now for this.

Obviously at least 2 boys including 11 or 12 yo Jonatas Faro and I also found Thiago Farias (for now publicity pics only). Also Jonatas Faro and other teen boy and men in baggy coveralls. Most often shown maybe a blonde, pigtailed girl (Maria ?) around 9 yo often in blue bibs. One other young girl is called Victoria Rocha.

And a boy in a sailor suit and very interesting unusual bedrooms (soon on my other blogs).

Thanks very much db1 for suggesting this series. I previously only had the Argentinian series Chiquititas (1995) rating 3 and a movie. There are also studio live musical shows.

This series is almost as huge and interesting as Cebollitas.This is just a quick part 1 of this series. I have to make more posts later, but I'm currently busy with Cebollitas and else.

I have checked around 30-40 episodes but haven't found any notable scenes of boys. Some clips starting 1998 at around episode 135, others in 120 or earlier, some still have ep 210+ in 1998, In the earlier episodes he wore glasses and later he looks much older. Season 2, 3 or 4? Probably in or around s3. I think I have to check rather s2.

Book 62: Oliver Hassencamp: Dicke Luft auf Schreckenstein

Because of the upcoming movie next month (Burg Schreckenstein, 2016) I have also checked the book series. Probably no bibs scenes in the movies (at least girls in blue aprons) and I only found one blonde older boy in bibs on this book cover (2nd edition, illustrations by Nikolaus Moras, end of the 1970s).

I even own some fews of the books but not this one. I don't remember any description of bibs scenes nor illustrations. But I only have checked them briefly and don't have the time to read them. One of the most famous German book series for boys in the 80s about a castle boarding school (boys and girls in separate locations). For girls there was Hanni & Nanni.

The kids appear much older on these illustrations and much younger in the movie. It was time for a movie but I don't like what I've seen so far, like school uniforms. They better should have made a TV series, but probably they want to make more money. So just another mainstream movie. I will wait for a TV broadcasting.

 

Update: The Waltons – Season 6

As announced some good scenes of the first disc of season 6. Mainly of interest Jim-Bob and Elizabeth.

Pic 1 at 2h47 (ep 4): Jim-Bob working in hickory striped bibs (also sitting at 2h38), Elizabeth in bleached, almost white appearing bibs, also later (both front+rear views).

Elizabeth in rare simple bibs with missing bib at the front but long suspenders and bib on the rear. She wore them also in season 5 looking like Huckleberry Finn.

At the beginning, redhaired girl Billie sitting in light blue bibs. Also sitting straight and arms on her lap and then standing up and walking away and I think kneeing but partly shown. No rear views.

Later in the middle, teen boy Robby in light blue, I think non-jeans working bibs which are baggy and roomy at the rear and then kneeing. Also shown an older man in dark blue bibs.

But both scenes are short. And Robby only shown partly again. And no snow bibs (yet).

Update 6: The Waltons – Season 5

Disc 7 of season 5 and so probably the final update of this season. (Season 6 updates also coming soon, starting with Jim-Bob in faded and Elizabeth in raw denim bibs).

I already have many pics of Jim-Bob and I don't like his bibs with simple straps and bib at low position. Ben, as announced, wearing his bibs often quite baggy and despite that, the fabric is often trapped in the butt crack.

Pic 1 is at 15 minutes, pic 4 at 1h27. Both pairs have the same cut. One patch on one knee on the light blue pair, 2 patches on both knees on the 2nd pair (not sure if that is hickory striped).

Story 139: One strap down but not on purpose

In episode 319 of Cebollitas, teen girl Vero wearing long, dark blue bibs. While arguing with a boy, her left strap is sliding down. Obviously not on purpose and unpleasant to her. The bib is quite loose and on the side view it looks as if both straps were loose. She also wears this pair of bibs and the red shirt in ep 318 and her two long braids on her front, reaching the bib although the bib as at low position.

As said before, the later episodes either have been blocked on YouTube in some regions and some are obviously even missing or been deleted. Next to a 2nd uploader I also found a third, Greek one (pictured), series titled ATROMHTOI_. Unfortunately with the same poor image quality as the 2nd. But this episode is available in better quality from the 1st, official brodcasting uploader.

As announced, there are some new actors, but few in bibs. One very young blonde girl in light brown bibs or similar (like in ep 329, soming soon). Also new boy actors, but not in bibs. One teen boy with a dark bowl cut in a wheelchair, one blonde boy.

Update: Mystic Nights and Pirate Fights

Yesterday, my post about this movie was on the TOP 10 posts, and then I noticed, that this movie, which is not on DVD is currently on YouTube, unfortunately in bad image quality and pretty dark. Pic 2 is from the trailer.

At least I could check it completetly and noticed much more bibs scenes then I remembered. The boy probably always wearing bibs but is of course not shown that much.

Although I prefer blue bibs, I nowadays like these bibs with the bib at high position combined with rubber boots. Looks like hunting bibs. Unfortunately he often or always wears a jacket over them.

Previously rated 4 assuming few scenes, but currently rating at least 5-6.

I hope for a DVD release. I think I would buy it (what actually means rating 7-8). There is a Chinese set of 2 VCD from Ocen Shores Ltd. (English with Chines subtitles). But I don't need it that much.

Story 138: Wrestling in overalls - Cebollitas

I mentioned this scene before but wanted to post other scenes first. In ep 92 Gamuza is wrestling with his obviously imaginary young friend Fantasmita. One moment later as another boy entered, Fantasmita is gone and Gamuza wrestling (and being held) alone in bibs on the floor.

Funny scene. Wrestling or fighting in overalls is a great idea, especially when both wearing bibs. Bibs shouldn't be too tight but too baggy could also make problems. I remember only few other movies or series showing wrestling scenes. Probably some more fighting (I think in The Waltons and LHOTP).

Thinking of Trevoir Morgan, I expected an older boy, short hair, dark blue bibs and several good scenes. Unfortunatley he was very young, has long hair, brief scene and light blue bibs. So I can't give any higher rating than 4-5 for this brief scene. I even wouldn't have recognized him. But thanks anyway. Great 80s series though, rating 7-8 (for swimwear and other scenes and actors).
