The Immigrants (1978)
TV drama in 2 parts starring Stephen Macht
–Year: 1978
–Year in film: 1900 (-1929)
–Country: USA
–Who in bibs: boy ~11 ?
–Available on DVD: no *
–I own: no
–Bib occurrence: low ??
–Rating: 5/10 ??
–Rating: *****
–Comment: At least this boy (young Tony ?) in faded light blue bibs. Being grabbed by the bib. Also he and several other boys in (mainly brown or beige) pants and knickers with suspenders. Haircut looks more like the 1970s and he looks rather like a female here.
I don't know the complete movie. Based on the bestselling 1977 novel by Howard Fast. Directed by Alan J. Levi, also starring Roddy McDowall. 240 minutes mini series. Nominated for a Golden Globe.
Starring Shane Sinutko (LHOTP) as other grandson (decades later) and Ari Macht (maybe the boy pictured ?)
Set in San Francisco. Not sure about the year of the scene pictured. I guess it's in the earlier years. Set in 1900, 1906, 1929 and maybe later (earlier no cars but horses, old clothes and props).
Rating 5-6 for now. Movie itself maybe even higher. But I assume rather few bibs scenes. I think not officially on DVD nor VHS.
