I had an entry before buying this season but now I'm starting a complete review. I have just finished DVD 1. I think it's probably better than s8. Although many war scenes.
Waltons in bibs: Cindy (pic 4, wife of Ben) milking a cow in ep 1 (sitting, rear view at 7 minutes) Erin grapped her by the rear straps. Same rare light blue bibs as in season 8. John-Curtis (son of Mary Ellen) in dark blue real jeans shortalls (pic 3, ep 3 at 1h59) and other bibs at 1h30. (Jim-Bob in good regular 501's and Mary Ellen in raw denim tight regular jeans, also riding.)
Non-Waltons: brief scene of 2 boys running at 37 minutes (ep 1). Josh (brother of Jody) in light blue bibs at 42 minutes (short scene, pic 2). 2 boys as spectators at the rails as the president died (at 1h31 see 1st entry).
The best scene yet 2 boys (~10+6) at a funeral (pic 1 at 1h54, ep 3). The older boy is also shown more close up (front only). Also men in bibs.
Previoulsy rated 3-4 now rated at least 5.
Jim-Bob in coveralls on CD3 (1h04). And Cindy and toddler boy and girl on CD2.
Later nothing much more of interest. One more scene of Jim-Bob in coveralls (some very good scenes in tight jeans) and one more scene of Cindy. Erin in tight raw denim Wrangler jeans (also riding).
