-Comment: I think Tommy Rettig (Lassie, 1941-1996) as Ricky on left and Gary Gray (1936-2006, also in a Lassie movie) in simple blue bibs, backside simple suspenders only. Also interesting period costumes like bathing costumes (these boys and others), boys in female night shirts and (sailor) collars and also other interesting scenes like bedrooms, so soon on both my other blogs. But rather few (good) scenes of the boys.
Had been aired yesterday. And I even didn't recognize these famous child actors. I missed some few parts at the beginning.
Unfortunately only 2 brief bibs scenes.
Typical MGM musical film of it's time. Not bad. But I can't rate any higher than 4-5 for these bibs scenes. Available on DVD with Nancy Goes to Rio.
