The Outsiders Club

Family series/cooking, 43 ep
Year: 2015-2019
-Year in film: 2018 / ~1850s
-Country: USA
-Who in bibs: Mario ~16 ?
-Available on DVD: no ?
-I own: no
-Bib occurrence: medium+ *
-Rating:  6/10 ?
-Rating: ******
-Comment: A teen boy in 2018 ep s3e6. Maybe Brandon Rossel? Host should be Mario. I haven't found yet his full name.

Another new one from Felix. Thanks very much! Nice find!

Farm work including kneeing on the field. Several good scenes. Unfortunatley rather few good rear views. Sitting and standing up but mainly behind a table.

Set on the Dudley Farm Historic State Park (Newberry, FL). Setting should be maybe in the ~1850s.

The brand seems rare. 2 watch holes \  /. I think, I haven't seen that before. Removed label on front. There is one on the rear, white text on dark blue. Very short name. Upper side button open. Quite baggy.

Rating ~6 for now. I prefer blond and younger boys.

Final update of Zoom (1972) coming tomorrow.

It's a Thought

Educational film, 25 min
Year: 1980
-Year in film: ~1980 ?
-Country: USA
-Who in bibs: Debbie ~15 ?
-Available on DVD: no ?
-I own: no
-Bib occurrence: often
-Rating:  5/10 ?
-Rating: *****
-Comment: A teen girl in dark, tight, maybe raw denim DeeCee bibs. Standing/walking, also sitting and lying on bed. Sitting and kneeing on floor. Several scenes. In fact almost always in bibs except a dream dancing scene.

After having found Eyes: Seeing the Light (probably boy rating 3) I have briefly checked all the films by Centron Films, I found. The only notable one was this. Released maybe 1981. No entry on IMDb. She should be a Junior High girl, but looking older to me. 15 or 16?

Older farm men I found in The Last of Grass (1956) and The Most Posts (1956). No need for pics of those.

Some nice scenes. Image quality is not perfect (from a VHS). Usually I don't like very tight bibs.

Rating 5-(6).

Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)

Family comedy film, Robin Williams
Year: 1993
-Year in film: 1990s
-Country: USA
-Who in bibs: girls ~9-11 ?
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: no
-Bib occurrence: very low
-Rating:  3/10 *
-Rating: ***
-Comment: At least 2 young girls dancing in bibs/shortalls, at least at the beginning. I think pic 1 the checkered ones are longer shortalls, also rear view. Another young girl in plain dark blue bibs.

Famous movie. I mainly like Matthew Lawrence here. (Unfortunately not in bibs). At least a nice but short pool scene.

For the brief bibs scenes rating ~2-3. Movie rating ~6-(7).

By coincidence, I have recently seen the beginning on TV.

Mara Wilson I have in Balloon Farm (next to Adam Wilie, rating 6) and Matilda (1996) rating 4 and Lisa Jakub in A Pig's Tale, Picture Perfect and Bermuda Triangle.

Matthew Lawrence in ABC Afterschool Specials: Don't Touch, Gimme a Break! (1981), Drexell's Class, Walter & Emily, Blossom. I also have his brothers Andy and Joey.

Krummerne - Det er svært at være 11 år

Family film part 7
Year: 2022
-Year in film: 2020s ?
-Country: Denmark
-Who in bibs: Yrsa ~ 12 ?
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: no
-Bib occurrence: very low
-Rating:  3/10
-Rating: ***
-Comment: A girl (obviously Asta R. Matthiasen) in long bibs, no bib pocket. Obviously very few and brief scenes, I assume 2 very brief scenes. On a beach at daytime and at evening. Front view partial hidden and from a distance (day) and headshots. Full rear view but dark lit. Sitting but behind a table. Bibs seem quite baggy or she's too thin.

Another one from Felix. Thanks very much!

For the brief scenes rating ~3 only. Movie itself maybe a bit higher? As usual the blond boys are maybe more of interest.

English title: The Crumbs - it's hard to be 11 years old. Simple title for better finding: Krummerne - Det er svaert at vaere 11 ar. The recent one of this movie series. One month ago I had part 6 with a very young boy, rating 3 as well (2014).

Update: Zoom (1972) season 4

I have checked season 4. Bibs in almost all episodes, even in the intro. Pic 1 from ep "Circus". 2 boys in tight raw denim bibs. Pic 2 from ep "Please Mr. Postman". Striped hickory bibs. Full view here. I think this is a Tommy but haven't checked it carefully.

Pic 3 from ep "Friends", a girl sitting on the floor. Pic 4 Tishy from ep "Rock Around the Clock". Full view here. Girl sitting, bibs with strange wash. Girl also on all fours and or kneeing (rear view).

Unpictured: girl in raw denim bibs in ep "Bonnie's Lost Derby". 2 girls like in pic 4 in ep "As The World Zooms Friday the 13th". And one girl in ep "Friends" with cuffed up legs.

Other scenes of interest: Boys wrestling (in shorts) in "Please Mr. Postman".

Main post rating 6

Update: Zoom (1972) f/m rating 6

I have now checked seasons 1-3. I thought that there were just 3 but there are I think 6. Some more great scenes of some more boys and girls, mainly dancing. Also sitting and kneeing. Image quality is quite bad, but for an early 70s series maybe acceptable.

Pics 1+4 from  season 3 ep "Boll Weevil". maybe the best one yet. One hippie girl with glasses (probably Lori, pic 1 kneeing lower right), pic 4 I think it's a boy.

Pic 2 from season 3 playlist (Best of S1 & 2. "Ann gets her braces"). 3 boys with railroad caps.

Pic 3 from season 3 playlist, clip 24 "Even More Zoom! Back to the 70s!". Dancing, hay setting and long hankies in rear pockets.

Unpictured, other scenes: ice hockey locker room in season 3 playlist clip 25 ep "Take Me Out to the Ballgame", diving (swimming) in "Down By the Riverside" (season 1).

The 1999 series (f/m rating 6) also needs to be re-checked. I found a boy in s4e7.

Another one from Felix. Thanks very much!

English title Tomer and Elias.

Rating ~3 for the shortalls. Movie itself rating ~9-10. Great coming of age plot about 2 brothers.

Eyes: Seeing the Light

Educational film, 15 min
Year: 1981
-Year in film: ~1981 ?
-Country: USA
-Who in bibs: boy (or girl) ~12?
-Available on DVD: no
-I own: no
-Bib occurrence: very low
-Rating:  3/10 ?
-Rating: ***
-Comment: Boy or girl in bibs. I assume a boy due to the face. I only noticed this very brief scene headshot at 9 and also rear (partial).

A new upload by A/V Geeks 16mm Films (another channel). Centron Films / Centron Corporation USA. Full list on Wikipedia. No entry on IMDb.

Maybe there are better scenes in other educational movies, maybe even with same kid. I assume also girls and maybe other boys in bibs in other episodes.

Also nice sports scenes (track&field) of kids at the beginning.

Update: Briefly checked all movies I found. Teen girl in bibs rating 5 (and men)

Le premier été

TV drama
Year: 2014
-Year in film: 2010s ?

-Who in bibs: Catherine ~15 ?, lady
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: no
-Bib occurrence: often ?
-Rating:  7/10 ?
-Rating: *******
-Comment: Teen girl, I think Nina Mazodier (as younger sister) in 2 different pairs and a lady in faded bibs. Several scenes of the girl. Rural setting including sitting on hay. Also lying on her back on the streets. Pic 1 is brand Big Smith (I think my 2nd favourite brand after JC Penney). Pic 2 could be Old Kentucky.

And yet another one from Felix. Thanks very much!

I like the teen girl and especially her bibs. Great rear views in both pairs (I prefer Big Smith).

Rating ~7. I have to check the movie when I have more time. Novel by Anne Percin.

Lieber Kurt

Drama Til Schweiger
Year: 2022
-Year in film: 2020s
-Country: Germany
-Who in bibs: Kurt ~6 ?, other boy
-Available on DVD: yes

-Bib occurrence: very low ?
-Rating:  4/10 ?
-Rating: ****
-Comment: Main character played by Levi Wolter (*2014) in light grey or light blue buttoned bibs and rubber boots. Obviously just one or 2 very brief scenes. Mainly headshots, including sitting.

And another one from Felix. Thanks very much! Never heard of this movie before.

Young boy, brief scene, so again rating ~4 or less.

In the trailer there's at least another, dark haired boy (same age, pic 3) in bibs or less likely shortalls, Felix missed. Maybe also boy on left and maybe a lady in the background.
