I assume rather few (good) scenes. I like raw denim bibs but the boy is too old anyway. Usually, I don't post if there are just men. And few scenes, so rating 2-3 for now only.

Book 81: Johanna Spyri: Schloss Wildenstein

By coincidence, I found a nice cover with a boy sitting on the grass in light blue bibs. 1959 edition, publisher Neuer Jugendschriften-Verlag. Cover image by "Oliver" (Oliver Vaberg ?). Illustrations by Jochen (J. Vaberg). I don't know of any inside illustrations with bibs at least a boy with suspenders (rear view).


A ghost story for kids by Johanna Spyri ("Heidi"). The text (1892) is Public Domain (unlike the illustrations). I have briefly checked for the German word "Latz" for bib, but haven't found anything. Later editions show a boy in Lederhosen.

I have finished the "Circle C Adventures" and there were only few descriptions of the boy. I'm currently reading one of the Western books of this author but don't assume bibs scenes there.

I can't say much more yet and only saw the trailer by coincidence and some few pis (also nice side view). No rear views yet. Not sure about sitting scenes or maybe more actresses. No entry on IMDb.

Update: Briefly checked. Many scenes, but often with a jacket. Also in bibs and purple apron and pink rubber boots. Also sitting on the grass at 53 but mainly or only headshots and good side/rear views. Even better than thought. Now rating 5-6 instead of 4.

Also other scenes of interest like a bathtub scene. Nice bedroom (other blog, rating 7).

I don't remember the complete movie. Nice, but typical 80s movie.

But the kids are very young and rather few good scenes.

So rating 2-3 only. Needs to be rechecked for other, supporting actors.

There's obviously a bug in both top posts widgets. Although I can still choose up to 10 entries to display, they only show 2 less, no matter what I choose. Obviously only on this theme.

This theme is not supported anymore. And if I choose another (free) theme, you have less functions. like no pics in the search results like on my 2 latest blogs.

Wordpress.com often change functions and make tests for their paid .org blogs. They sometimes change the size of the icons. Maybe it also depends on the font or browser. But I can't change much in the free version. My other blogs are not affected.

Update: After around 2 days, there are agin 10 posts. Either they repaired the bug, or I just hadn't enough traffic.

Not sure if this girl is part of the choir "Die kleinen Spatzen".

Also of interest the musical Mary Poppins (one boy+girl but none in bibs).

I missed the end and I only noticed this brief clip. Obviously, the kids changed their clothes later. Making snow angels is a good idea. Usually, kids wear snow bibs or snow pants.

There are similar shows also with same or other kids. Like the other "feste.tv" shows (some have boys in Lederhosen) or the other Schlager shows. I have some shows on my Lederhosen blog like Die große Show der Weihnachtslieder.

Typical episode. For the bibs scene, rating ~4-5 for now. Nice rear view. But I assume rather few scenes. 1982 novel by June Foley, not mentioned by IMDb. It's also not Amy but Annie. Another mistake.

I prefer the classic series with Jay North, although b&w and no jeans fabric. Now also on my bedroom blog. Mason Gamble is funny but also annoying and too young, around 6 yo.

So still rating ~3-4.
