American Gothic (2016)

Mystery series, 14 ep
–Year: 2016
–Year in film: 2010s ?
–Country: USA
–Who in bibs: Sophie ~31
–Available on DVD: yes
–I own: yes
–Bib occurrence: very low ?
–Rating:  4/10
–Rating: ****
–Comment: At least Stephanie Leonidas (of British origin) in I think long, faded bibs with one strap loose and sleeveless top in s1e10. Obviously also men in prison in orange coveralls.

But I assume few and brief scenes if any more.

So rating ~3-4 for now.

Update 2: Ministern (1970)

I first had no pics at all, then 1 headshot, now I found a clip showing the bibs of the young boy. He obviously wore at least 2 pairs. Both are dark blue. First one very dark (almost) black appearing. Also scenes outside. So obviously many scenes.

Main entry, still rating 3

Update: Gunsmoke (1955) s18e9+14

And another rating 4 re-upload. Now I have all pics of Gunsmoke except some few non-notable ones. Pic 1 is from s18e9 (rating 3).

I also have fixed the links in the main entry.

Previous post and main entry (including s18e1+2 rating 9)

3 from Hell (2019)

Horror film
–Year: 2019
–Year in film: 1970s ?
–Country: USA
–Who in bibs: "Baby" ~48, man
–Available on DVD: yes
–I own: yes
–Bib occurrence: low-
–Rating:  3/10
–Rating: ***
–Comment: Sheri Moon Zombie in faded, ripped bibs. Rather few and brief scenes at ~1h04 when they arrived in Mexico. Also Bill Moseley in bibs. Hippie/70s style.

For the brief scenes rating 3 only. Lady and bibs aren't that bad.

The movie/plot is very weak. Rating 2-3.

Sketch-up (1984)

Sketch comedy series
–Year: 1984-1997
–Year in film: 1980s
–Country: Germany
–Who in bibs: Man, woman
–Available on DVD: yes
–I own: no
–Bib occurrence: low- *
–Rating:  2/10 ?
–Rating: **
–Comment: Next to Dieter Krebs sitting in faded bibs (also looking similar in 1987 sketch Küchenschlacht mit Stopfei, and maybe in more sketches), there's a young lady walking in the background. Clip is called Sketchup 57 (unknown season). Dieter also in Lederhosen in 1984 ep 6 and in a sailor suit as boy (another one for the age transformation site).

I've seen this sketch recently on TV (compilation, not on the mediathek). Luckily I could find this online (after quite long search). Now, I'm not sure if they are bibs with a belt or just jeans with a matching sleevelsee shirt/top. The image quality on YouTube is quite poor. The top appears to have a different color here, but I think this is a shadow. I will recheck this the next airing.

There are probably more scenes. Very few supporting actors. At least I remember Dieter as firefighter (close jacket, but I assume bibs in the 80s).

Very famous series and I like it. Originally 23 episodes in 4 seasons 1984-1987, but there was a 1997 sequel with another 12 episodes.

For the brief scene of the lady, rating 2 only. Series itself rating ~7-8.

Update: Billy Frankenstein

Another rating 4 re-upload. Jordan Lamoureux. I have uploaded both pics. Looks much better than rating 4 but obviously very few scenes and bibs under an open shirt.

Books 116: Dime novels #3

I found some more, interesting German dime novels (click to enlarge). All or most are OOP. Some are available as ebook. Some are also reissued with different cover pics, some under different titles. Usually, the cover pics (like on books) have not much in common with the contents, so mentionings inside are possible but rather unlikely. I found some more but toddlers.

Villa Erlenbach #32 (1st series), Geliebte Mutti #1, Im Sonnenwinkel #1, 4th edition (also as Familie Auerbach #1) kid in raw denim bibs or shortalls, first 1 thought of a boy but it's probably a girl, Neuer Goldroman #142 (Zauberkreis Verlag, boy in dark blue bibs with cuffed up legs, also as ebook).

Knorr (2012 ad)

And another commercial from the age transormation site (pics there). A young boy sitting at a table eating Knorr soup and getting strong. Both straps got loose (buttons popped off). Probably in Spanish speaking countries only?

Very young, headshot only. So rating ~2.

Under Wraps (1997)

Disney family film (Harold the mummy)
–Year: 1997
–Year in film: 1990s ?
–Country: USA
–Who in bibs: Amy ~12, girl, woman
–Available on DVD: yes
–I own: no
–Bib occurrence: medium- ?
–Rating:  5/10 ?
–Rating: *****
–Comment: Clara Bryant in long, dark blue bibs, also sitting outside. And at least one other blonde girl in bibs and a lady in a cinema. There's a little blonde girl (film sister?, ~8 yo) in a dark blue jeans dress or similar.

As announced in the remake, this movie is even better. I remember having seen this funny movie starring Adam Wylie, but have to recheck this completely the next airing.

Rating at least 5-6 for now.

For the 2021 remake starring 4

Tonis Welt - season 2 (on TV)

Season 2 starting on June 8th. Not free on the mediathek, probably later not free as well. Pic is from a behind the scenes, obviously of the new season. Valerie in dark blue shortalls, also sitting. I assume several scenes, maybe also long bibs. She will be pregnant in this season.

I also have seen a pic of a man in fishing bibs (not sure if behind the camera only).

No scenes, yet (in the first 4 episodes). I haven't noticed this or similar scenes on TV.

No scenes in season 2 (except the intro). And season 2 is the final one.

Main entry rating 5
