-Comment: Sabine Eggerth (pictured) in dark bibs. Backside suspenders only. I don't remember the complete movie and have only seen some parts recently. Yesterday I found the color Heimatfilm "Solange noch die Rosen blüh'n" with her as 13 yo in Lederhosen (see my other blog) and first thought that Toni is a boy.
Here there are also boys as well in Lederhosen and sailor suits (same entry shortly on my other blog, will receive a slightly higher rating).
I'm not sure when this movie is set, the novel was published in 1931, but like other Kästner films they are mostly timeless and set in the year of release.
Also starring Hertha Feiler (2nd wife of Heinz Rühmann), Paul Klinger and others. International title "Punktchen and Anton".
I hope for a soon broadcasting and will update this, but I assume rather few bib scenes as she often wore dresses. Not sure of others in bibs.
There was a remake in 1999 starring Max Felder and Elea Geissler as Pünktchen (also in full length blue bibs). I will also make an entry of that version.
Story and plot is very good and good family entertainment, but for those bibs I can only rate 3-4.
