Update 3: Carnivàle

I have now seen the complete season 1 (some episodes are missing). A good sitting scene of Nick Stahl in s1e6 wearing the bibs in the regular way and not with bib and straps down.

Pic 2 showing a boy in s1e10. Also front view but from a distance. Brief scene. I assume that it's always the same boy, I found before in other episodes. (But probably not Ryan Hanson Bradford). White shirt. Different hat. Bibs might be a different pair. Seems no label attached.

A lady in blue bibs, probably Linda Purl (*1955, so ~42 yo). I think very few scenes.

Also starring young Haley Joel Osment (but not in bibs).

Also in bibs at least in Several other Snub Pollard movies including Drink Hearty, You're Pinched, Cash Customers (all 1920), Where's the Fire, The Bike Bug (also riding) all 1921, and Eddie Boland and Paul Parrott movies up to 1926 like Hired and Fired. Also in sailor suits.

I have to check more of the movie, mabye also have others in bibs.

Also kids in snow bibs (or coveralls or pants).

Another Swedish series, I recently found. English title would be Handle With Care. Educational series (Utbildningsradion). Producer Suzanne Forslund.

I haven't found much info about this series. Aired on SVT. At least running from 1980-1991, maybe starting earlier and running probably loger (1996 ?).

Also other scenes of interest like boys in briefs in a river.

I don't know other episodes. Could be even better.

Update 2: The Yearling (1994)

I now have watched this movie completely at regular speed. Even much more (great) scenes. He almost always wore bibs and is very often shown. But somehow I don't like this actor. Brown eyes, longer (blond) hair, maybe it's his face, or he's just 1 or 2 years too old. So still rating 7-(8). Great bibs though and nice boots.

Unpictured: Very good scenes at 3-5 and 10 (mainly front), 21 (close-up). At 24 (see main post pic 1), at 34 another riding scene, this time behind the man (poor), at 37, at 45 (on boat (close-up), at 48 milking (poor), at 52, at 59 climbing over a fence, at 1h11 fighting scene including lying on ground.

The setting is great, so are the bibs. Also some good rear views. He sometimes wore an open jacket and very few sitting scenes. The plot is somehow quite weak (I didn't understand the dubbing). Rather few scenes of the animal. Some dramatic and touching scenes. Few other actors beside men.

For someone who likes (this) teen boy, it's recommended. Not sure about the DVD quality.

Bibs of this female singer aka Mikayla Simpson (*2000) are shortalls. One strap down. I haven't checked more clips. Clip is from 2020, so 19 or 20 yo.

In the school book there was a partial photo. I assumed a long pair.

I also found pics in other pairs liked long red ones and grey ones with unknown length. But on most photos she wore other clothes.

I have briefly checked the new episodes. Bibs scenes of Ava first appeared much later than assumed. I think first in ep 1035 (beige bibs incl sitting, also walking with a bike but I think not cycling). But also long blue bibs and blue shortalls. Also Jamila Weintritt as Chiara and a teen boy as well in dark blue cotton coveralls and thin yellow ones in ep 1037. (I like Chiara's braces, freckles and buns but also her light blue Anime wig).

Very interesting, but she is very small. 2 faked black front teeth.

Update: The Yearling (1994)

I now have completely checked this remake (but as usual at high speed only). Much more bibs scenes than  first assumed, I think he always wore bibs (when shown, but with an open jacket in the 2nd half and in boots). Also very good rear views. 2 different pairs. Very faded ones at the beginning and later medium blue baggy ones. Also sitting scenes. And on horse (together with a man).

I don't like much this actor and his haircut. Looking older than Claude Jarman Jr. from the much more famous 1946 classic (2 Oscars, I think no bibs scenes there, but in The Sun Comes Up, rating 7). Obviously also none in the novel where the character is 12 yo.

Pic 3 at 11 minutes. Pic 4 at 1h (also front view). Pic 1 in the 2nd half maybe near end, pic 2 near beginning. Wet butt when walking 1st half.

Rating 7 was correct. Maybe no need for purchase. I think I have to rewatch it at slow speed.

I also found pics and clips of her in many different bibs included black, faded blue and bibs with thick stripes. And also coveralls. Obviously she likes to wear bibs.

But I think rather few (good) scenes in this series.

Double Trouble (1982) on YouTube (one episode only, no overalls though, at least not in ep1). Extremely rare series, my most wanted. 

Previously assumed to be 1984. Hard to find. Previousy no pics on the web except mine (B&w, taken from a book).

Update 2: Carnivàle

 

I've started to recheck (the available episodes) at regular speed and with (German) audio. I found another very brief scene of a boy walking rear view in s1e3 at 9 min. Maybe it's the same boy as in the previous update (last pic, ferris wheel).

I also found the other boy in s1e1 at 56. It's Ryan Hanson Bradford as young Ben in a flashback scene while at the fortune-teller reading the cards.

Very interesting and strange setting. There are other movies and series which have some parts at fairs or circus but rarely as main plot (in these years). Some very few episodes like in The Waltons (s5e14 and/or season 6 or 7) and Something Wicked This Way Comes.

Unfortunately very few scenes of boys. I think none living with the circus. Nick Stahl is grown up now and he usually wear the bibs with a belt and the bib down. There's also a peeing scene in a bar I think in s1e5 (bib up) but bad views. And I don't like him that much anymore. But I have to continue watching.

Touched by an Angel - s4e5

I think this is Monica in white shortalls. Bird's eye view and also regular front view (from a distance). I think a brief scene probably at the end. Legs appear flared (or her legs are too thin). Although she's not that young, I like the white shortalls. So rating ~4.

–Comment: I found this and some other French English courses for my other blog. Publisher: Editions Maison des Langues, author Fréderic Chotard. 11 yo Kirstine from Glasgow in great bibs and dental braces.

The pic is from a preview of unit 8 (from Calameo) of grade 6 (6e). HD pics can be zoomed. She presents a 2013 video about Scotland, but not sure is she's included there (probably not). Videos are available on DVD and USB stick. 

There are several other videos including vlogs, but I don't know of others in bibs. I found one pic of a younger girl in shortalls, but obviously just a tiny pic only.

A related course from same authors is Blockbuster, with an older teen girl on the cover (maybe an apron due to brown straps), also a photo of a female reggae singer called Koffee *2000 in bibs (partial, book Tle, terminale), I have to search for clips of her. Also young boys in skirts (2de).

Update: I forgot another girl in blue bibs or shortalls in unit 16 (2de). But probably just a photo.
